I Got a Bad Role; Should I Drop Out of The Show?

Recently, I've auditioned for a musical at a local theatre, and I got a very bad role. Judging by the age/skill of the other people there, I was one of the top three in voice skill, and the best at acting in general. When we got the parts, this camp (Read: CHILDREN'S CAMP. Nothing professional.) gave roles almost perfectly to those who looked the part. I really hate going there, and I feel like I should drop out, but I would also feel bad if I did that. What should I do?

Thanks for the advice! But my parents aren't willing to pay for anything. & I actually did go to one source talent. But they said I needed to travel to different states. I can't do that. I'm only 13, and I have school, and I just want a movie or something to be filmed in or near Chicago cause that's where I live. Any more suggestions?

Hi, I am a 13 year old girl and I have big dreams of becoming a famous singer & actress. I have a YouTube account, and I think it's the only way to show my talent to people. I have scripts from movies, but I don't have any other friends who could act in front of a camera with me. Some are scared because of "privacy issues", and others aren't really into acting. Do I just need to act out the whole script by myself and post that on to YouTube?

The Last Starfighter

I am obsessed with an old movie from the 80s. "The Last Starfighter" which they showed on tv last week. I loved it so much I stayed up until 3am when it was going to be on again! The last time I bought a dvd of an old movie like this it was very bad quality and had no extras except the trailer. Does anyone know if this is a good version they put on DVD and does it have enough special features to make it worth getting, or should I just stream it on Amazon when I need a fix?

Forecast for New York... Does anyone here live in nyc? How bad is the weather there in the winter? Should I be afraid to move there? Would you leave LA for NYC if you wanted to try stage acting, or would you stay here to avoid the weather?

Okay so i just signed with a talent agency october of last year and theyve been emailing me and my mom about auditions and what they have submitted me for the last email they sent me was the 14th last tuesday but have not told me if i have gotten any auditions yet HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT TO HEAR FROM THEM ABOUT ME GETTING AUDITIONS??? thanks

I have been practicing a few monologues I found online. But every time I do, I consider more and more what it would be like to actually audition. I have no idea what to expect. I guess this question is for anyone who has auditioned maybe? I know Bella Thorne uses this website so hopefully you'll see this, Bella. What should I expect other than 10 pairs of eyes on me, watching my every move, and then taking pictures of me? I know they ask for a specific type, or they let me do whatever. How can I mentally prepare myself for that pressure? Thank you to anyone who answers. I'm 16/f.

recently a brand new teen saga called the Mortal Insterments got popular and everybody from 13 to 18 liked it im 24 almost 25 and i really cant get into it becuase it looks like the next Twilight and im glad Twilight is not popular nomore so when will the Mortal Insterments stop being popular and what is the last book if you know tell me .

im sick and tired of Disney Channel airing that retarded show and it annoys me that Ross Lynch is getting popular when not many people are buying his stuff another thing hes gonna be in the next Muppet Movie and Disney Channel keeps airing newer episodes of Austin and Ally sooner or later they will have to cancel the show if you have any information on the final episode of Austin and Ally post me a link to it .

i remember reading his saga called a Series of Onfortunate Events from 2003 to 2007 when they were very popular now they are not as popular as they used to be and the saga only got one movie in 2004 starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf but now they are not popular nomore why is that just curious .

why does Winnie the Pooh not come on tv

i was wondering that Winnie the Pooh has been popular for years the shorts premeired on tv in the late 1960s and in the 1970s came the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in the 1980s it was the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in the 1990s there were Winnie the Pooh movies such as Seasons of Giving and Poohs Grand Adventure the Search for Christopher Robin and in some parts of the 2000s there was the Tigger Movie Piglets Big Movie and Poohs Heffalump Movie and in 2011 the last Winnie the Pooh movie was released but after that nomore Winnie the Pooh movies came out and yes Winnie the Pooh still has his recognition but he is not on tv anymore not even on Disney Channel or Disney Junior why is that i wonder .
