Which you think is better Cathloic high schools or Public high schools and explain your reason why because i don't know if i want to go to a public high school because iam attending to a cathloic high school.

Yearbook Pictures

I got my retake back & it turned out with my eyes closed. (oh god!!!)
So I emailed the yearbook sponsor and she said that she already sent in the pages so she couldn't take the picture out. So my yearbook picture has my eyes closed!!!! (oh god)
I have the option, she said, of:
*Bringing in a picture of me to just put somewhere in the yearbook
*Bringing in a picture of me and my friends to publish somewhere in the yearbook
*Getting interviewed by a staffer & putting in an interview that says something like "What was your favorite part of 7th grade" and saying something like " sleeping on Picture day!"

2006 Winter Olympics

Hey. Well, for Physical Education class, we have to do a project on a sport of the Winter Olympics. I chose Figures Skating. The problem is that I haven't been watching it since we got information about the report yesterday. Well, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the results of the figure skating so far, and what times to watch it on t.v. Thanks a bunch!

okay well ive always felt that ive had some sort of learning disorder. i am 16/f and get fairly good grades (all As and Bs) and take 2 honors classes but ive felt the higher the grade i am in the slower i get at getting things and mainly the dumber i am, i mean i know im not stupid but sometimes i just dont get things and have problems. i tell my parents that i think i have a slight learning disablitity and they just kind of laugh it off and say i dont. ive never had any kind of formal testing b/c my parents wont take me but ive taken some online surveys and they say that there is a "somewhat" need for me to see a specialist and my parents should consult my teachers and whatever...
what should i do? and are ...

i have to make up a latin dance for a school performance. i have until the 28th of february to make one up. I know some moves but not enough to make a whole dance. What song do you think i should make the dance for? and are there any websites that break down some latin dance moves?

High School & Friends

Hey. Well, I'm currently in the 8th grade and I will be going on to highschool this upcoming August. Well, not a lot of people are going to my high school-only a few. I was wondering, how do I become social because I tend to be shy at most times, and in highschool, I want to have lots of friends and for people to know that I'm cool, fun, and nice to be around with, since I really am once people get to know me. I also want to makea great 1st impression. If you have any tips, suggestions, etc. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for listening!

caring for a black moor in a bowl

i am thinking of getting a black moor and the tank i have got is a medium size bowl i was just wondering how well my black moor will do in this bowl i was also told i will need a bubbler to let the water oxegenate, but will a plant oxegenate the water for me it would be great if you could let me know if my black moor will do ok in those conditions

Death Penalty/Persuasive Essay

Hello, I'm a female 17 years old and a JR. in High school. Also I'm from Pennsylvania,& that will help with my question.
Sometime last week I was assigned to write a Persuasive Essay, since I have one of the higher grades in class the teacher thought it would be appropriate that I tackle a harder issue to discuss, which lead her to assign me the Death Penalty.
I need some reasons why people support the death penalty and the reasons why they support it. I have a few reasons picked out but I would like to see if there are better reasons out there and see what other people's thoughts are.
Also, please don't answer this if you disagree with it.

Disney World

Hey! I'm going to Disney World on Friday morning because we don't have school on Friday or the following Monday. We're driving back on Monday. It's a 7-8 hour drive. Well, I found out today that we're having a huge test next Wednesday! Since I'll be in Disney World, I don't know if I'll have time to study a lot, and there is a ton of information for the test (like at least 5 pages typed). What should I do in order to have fun and be prepared?

school has always been something that stresses me out.... a lot. but, when i came into school this year, i was not exactly on school mode. i tought i would get into the habit of it soon enough, but i didn't. i'm just not in that mode. i'm not in study mode. and it's not that i am too lazy to study, it is just that i can't concentrate because my room has to be fixed and until it is fixed, i have to work outside of my room, where it's not as comfortable and quite noisy sometimes. i thought it would not be that big of a deal, but i know that this year i can get all A's. here is the deal. i go to the school i've gone to this school since i was seven, im fifteen. i really really really hate the school that i am in. like, i really really do. sometimes, i just want to cry because of it. i've begged my mom to send me to this other school. well, actually last year, she even got an application to apply to the school that she went to, and then just told me that she didn't want me to go after i had filled it out and everything. and i really want to go to this other school, that is really more like me. in the school that i am in, they don't even offer any of the sports that i would join and everybody is really mean in my school and super snobby, and my school is supposedly one of the most challenging schools in the ...

Joining Sports/Clubs

I'm a straight A student and I'm going to be graduating this year from middle school. I can't wait! The most difficult thing for me right now is choosing the high school I would like to attend next year. There are so many things I would love to try out for next year. For some clubs, I know I will definitely join. I love all these sports, track, hockey, lacrosse, basketball, and so forth... Some sports only have a boys' team which kind of stinks. I've noticed that a lot of people are in more than one club and more than one sport... and are still a straight A student. I'm just wondering... How can someone manage their time with all of this going on? -- Thank you.

Being a Kid

I dont have time for anything but school. Im taking hard classes this year (Im a sophmore in high school) and I literally dont have time for anything, sometimes including church =(. Im always like "If I dont get 50 things memorized today then Ill have to memorize 100 tomorrow.." Im just always thinking about school and I dont have any fun anymore. After this year Im not taking hard classes because my youth is being wasted (if that makes sense), but what do I do about it NOW?

I'm really bad at science and have a huge test! Last test I got a 41% which hurt my grade alot! I really need to do good, and I'm also on the basketball team so I need to keep my grades up. I have the notes I just can't rember and make sense of them. Any study tips anything please help. Thanks.

i am 13/f and we had an author come to our school a few days ago, and she said that kids can get stories published and make alot of money, i love to write, and DEFINETLY need money! haha so my question is does anyone know a site that shows a publishing comany that will publish books by kids? please, if you know anything, help me out!
