Freshman Grades

Okay, up til 9th grade I've had great grades. None have been below an 85. Now, Freshman year I've failed one, and had low 70's in two others. I honestly don't know what to do. I turn in all my homework, I listen in class, my parents have had meetings with the teachers. My biggest concern is Algebra 1, it ahh is so confusing to me. But my teacher also helps in the confusion, she doesn't know how to teach!
Anyway, I'm just wondering if anyone their first year of highschool experienced a difference in grades, or had the same situation as me. Thanks.

Math help

Im 13 and in 7 grade. I have A's and B's in all my classes but one. Im failing in math. I dont know why its so hard for me. I belive its because I have never had to study for any other classes because im good at them. The only thing is that im terrible at studying. If I try really hard and study the night before for like six hours I can get a good grade on a test. Just recently I got a mid-B on my test which is pretty good for me. But I dont understand the lesson even when our teacher teaches it to us. The hardest part for me is that my best friend makes PERFECT grades. She has like 100 in three or four classes. It really gets me down when I come home with a C or D and she gets an A. I know its not her fault or anything, but I get kinda jea...

Spelling Bee

Hey. Well, I am going to be in my county's Spelling Bee, which is in less than 2 weeks. Lately I've been studying out of this booklet of beginning, intermediate, and advanced words they gave us.I was wondering if I should just study most of the words I can, or if there are additional techniques to help me spell these words correctly. Drama 1 class

Hey all. Well, next year is my freshman year, and I signed up for Drama 1. The problem is, that I don't know what it's all about. I mean, can anybody inform me about if it's fun or not, what you do in that class, generally what the people and their personalities are like, etc. I'm real excited...I just need to be informed. Romeo and Juliet! Diary. PLEASE help

For school i have to write a diary entry for one of the characters.
my task says :
Choose what you think is a turning point in the play. Write a diary entry for one of the characters who are part of this scene. Make sure you include all the details of what happened. Remember that people add their thoughts and feelings to the events they write in their diaries.
ive thought of a few turning points but dont know what to write and which character to use..
Eg.
- When Romeo gets sent to Mantua and Friar Lawerence cant get the letter to him in time to tell him of Juliets 'death'.
- The very end of the play when the Capulets and Montagues realise what there on going fued has caused,...

I need some help. I need to know how to motivate myself to do homework and study. I could be getting excellent grades right now because I know I'm capable. I just put off studying all the time and doing homework.

Thesis.

Im Doing my Junior Paper on OCD and i need to write a thesis I am having so much trouble on this and ive been at it for 2 hours.
If you Guys wouldnt mind helping me out here either giving me a sample thesis dealing with OCD.

For homework i have to write a modern day blurb for a book on romeo and juliet.
Im really struggling to write it. i just cant think
i cant give away to much of the plot but need to make it interesting to grip people to want to read it

theres a dance comin up at my school n i love dances n all. but when i dance(grindin) i NEVER kno where to put my hands, and i'm a girl. and when i talk about grindin i mean my back to him, hands, where to put them?

Okay so theres this girl on my bus lets say her names Kayla. She is SO ANNOYING!!! I cant stand her! shes a real popular girl (I dont know why!) and she is so mean. She has never done anything to me, except just make me mad. anyways, theres another kid on the bus lets say his names greg and hes a grade younger than her. Noone really likes him on the bus except for the real shy people who dont stick up for anyone. I personally dont know him and he doesnt know me. Kayla says the meanest things to him, like that hes fat and ugly and makes fun of his friends and stuff. I can bearly take it because I feel so bad for him. All these kids pick on him and he has a hard time sticking up for himself because there are so many mean kids on my bus. Shes ...

A class..

lately i have been so stressed and worried about one of my classes. i used to force myself to study all day for 5 days in advance of a test (including saturday and sunday) so that i would get a "good grade". its gotten to the point where i see a therapist and take medication. my mom is concerned, so she is only letting me study 2 hours a day so that i wont be overstressed, and she said that if i dont do well on tests that itll be her fault. my question is, is it better to cry and panic all the time and get a good grade or to enjoy life and not study as much and get a lower grade?

The actors of Bridget Jones’s Diary weren’t pleased when they saw the DVD cover for the first time.
They want an outsider to create something really spectacular, Which will almost -force- people to buy this DVD.
To choose the best DVD cover they will also need an explanation from you, in which you tell them why you have chosen to create the DVD cover the way you did.
So be creative and keep in mind that you want them to choose your product.

for school i have to write an essay about the book "greay expectations" and i need to write about the themes of the book and i have to write in examples, not quote examples, but saying what happened during that part of the book.

I am trying to get to the 8th grade. That is my regular grade. The principal says I need a faxed paper from my old school saying they were planning to put me in 8th, but I can't get it. What plan can I give her to put me in the 8th grade without the paper. Can you give me some ideas?

I need some help deciding what classes i should take my junior year (next year).
i know no one here knows all the courses i have at my school but most schools ussually have very similar classes!
I want to be a kindergarden teacher when i grow up and ive already taken all the classes that are like child care based or whatever so there is nothing about kids left for me to take but i dont know whats next.
i was thinking like taking something like socialogy but i dont know what kind of classes will help me most!

hollywood black list

i am writing a thesis paper in History, and I am writing about the Hollywood Blacklist (dealing with McCarthyism). I have done ALOT of reasearch about my topic, & i know a great deal about it, but I am having trouble coming up with an actual thesis. i guess i want something to do with mccarthyism influencing entertainment/
theatre /plays (like arthur miller's the crucible, for instance), but i really don't know how i would write this paper (would each paragraph be a different play that was indluenced? if you have any knowledeg of this, i greatly appreciate it thanks!
i know that this is not a homework help site & none of you can actually do my homework for me, so i would just like to note that i am not asking you to do my homework...i'm just asking for a bit of help.

for science, we have to make an item out of all reusable items. such as paper, cardboard, and plastic, etc. it doesnt have to be a new invention, just a simple product that will be usefull. like my friend made a little container that holds little peices to games. anyone have any ideas? i'm stumped and its due wednesday!
