my school vs. other school- a little lengthy sorry Posted Sunday March 19 2006, 5:37 pm
15/f
i've been going to this stupid school since i was in second grade... but i dont think that anyone has any idea just how much i hate it there! I hate that school SO MUCH! i feel like crying every day on my way over there. the tuition of the school is really expensive, but i have a scholarship of $132,000. i have no idea how i pulled that off because the curriculum is SO DIFFICULT! you get about 6 hours of homework every night, i get home at 8 every day. im not exaggerating. everyone is kinda mean and i don't have any friends there... we don't even have a cheerleading squad at my school, which is what i love to do. i feel so pressured there. i don't think anyone my age should feel this stressed with work. I've talked to my...

concentrating on homework Posted Sunday March 19 2006, 5:22 pm
Everyday when I get home, I know I should do homework. But I always find something else to do, like going on the computer, going outside, etc. I'm always up really late. One time I came home and started doing my homework, but my mind was jumping allover and I couldn't do it. Any suggestions?? Thanks and I rate 5's for good answers...

My one talent Posted Sunday March 19 2006, 11:38 am
Everybody has something their good at right? Some people are good dancers, athletes, public speakers, etc. I feel like I need something to be dedicated to. I love to be creative and i like to paint. I know its an advantage to know what you want to be, but i don't know of any realistic jobs where I can be expressive and creative, and make decent money. I'm only 13 but i would like to set a goal so when I get to highschool I'll be ahead of my game. I take as many art classes as I have time for. If someone could give me some career ideas, that would be awesome!

Childhood Interview-questions Posted Sunday March 19 2006, 9:57 am
Hey folks :)
I need to interview someone about their childhood. And it needs to be a very long interview, problem is, I have no clue what to ask. Can anyone think of an INTERESTING question? Something that would really get a readers attention. I mean, if the reader is someone who does not know the person I'm interviewing..it's sort of hard to make it interesting, when that's the case. So any suggestions?
I'd appreciate it.
Thank you bunches :)

Hell advicenators,
I was just wondering: what are your thoughts on starting school/letting your children start school a year earlier? Do you have any own experiences with this? Is there any cons; and what are the pros? Anything you shoúld think about before making the decision? How do you think your life would be different if you did/ didn't start a year earlier? Any opinions you have on this would be appreaciated.

- what role the two unidentified characters had in the deaths.
- your thoughts on why the killings took place

VERY long story Posted Saturday March 18 2006, 11:27 am
Let me start off by saying that I'm taking a very hard class. An AP class in high school. Anywho, I've been extremely stressed/overwhelmed/depressed because of it because of the ridiculous workload and amount of material to study. So, I started seeing a psychologist. All he tells me is that even if I fail the class, my life won't be ruined. And I know that, but truly believing it is hard. People keep telling me to do my best and that's all, but how do I know what my best is? Studying all day every day and getting no sleep? I don't know. I want a life, too. So, I told my teacher everything and she said that I should see a councelor. I did and she said it was too late to drop it unless a doctor says my health is at risk. I told the psycologis...

Becoming Valedictorian. . . Posted Wednesday March 15 2006, 9:26 am
Well, here's the thing. I'm only a freshman, soon to be a sophmore, but I am really concerned about my scholastic career. At the moment, I have a 4.0 GPA( My average of my classes is a 98), and I am taking an advanced math class. Anyway, I would really like to graduate valedictorian my senior year. I have stiff competition-at least two people who could also be valedictorian. Does anyone have any tips for becoming valedictorian? What classes should I take next year? I would appreciate any advice, or any websites that would help me out. Thanks!

Failing Posted Tuesday March 14 2006, 4:06 pm
Ok, so right now I have a 50% in math. Which is failing. I have to bring it up to a 70% by April 4 and I don't know how. I went three times already to ask my teahcer for help and it doesn't work. I stink at memorizing things. I really don't want a tutor because the one my mom would send me to is my crush's mom! I'm in level one.. taking algebra and it's just so hard. I have A's in all my other classes but this one. My teacher only counts hw and quizzes. What should I do??

american history Posted Monday March 13 2006, 10:54 pm
Which of these thesis paper topics (about anything in American History)sounds more like a thesis & something a teacher would probably prefer?
1. Arthur Miller's personal life experinces were the biggest contributuions to his success as a great American playwright.
2. Many different events and issues in the later half of the 20th century helped to shape the ideology of American theatre.
(these would not be the final thesis sentences...i will re-word them...I just need a feel for which is better.)

homeschool Posted Monday March 13 2006, 5:46 pm
I need advice. well, i hate school so much. I alwasy have. The thing is i get straight A's and I am very popular. Yet, I have gross teachers that i feel uncomfortable around and some of them are pervertive. I have no friends in my classes and the only time i do get to see my close friends are at lunch. Anyway, I am so depressed about school so my mom said she'll homeschool me. I was so thrilled by the idea ut i have to take a few things inaccountant. Like I'm not going to be able to see my friends as much, people will wonder why i left because I'm so well known, and if hihgschool we'll be harder for me to adjust to bc/ I'm getting homeschooled for the next 2 1/2 months until school ends. Please tell me what you think. I mean I really want t...
