greek on ABC

Does anyone know if Greek (show on ABC) is coming back for a second season? i tried looking it up and couldn't find it. any advice as to how to find it, when it will come back, and if it will be affected by the writers strike? thanks

I was just cast in the school musical, Beauty and the Beast, as one of Gaston's 4 "silly girls"-- what is this role? Is it a lead? Will I have a lot of stage time? Or solos?

Reaching higher notes than usual

This is a bit of a tabu question. I am a singer. I have been told by a few teachers that I am a second soprano. i have always felt like I have the potential to reach higher notes but have never gotten past an E. ( now I am no expert. but it should be about an octive higher than the open E on the guitar. The smallest last string). Last night in the shower, I was pleasing myself, and i felt like singing for some reason. When I started singing, I was able to reach 2 full notes past what I normally can. I believe that would make it a G. Very clear, very easy on my throat. When I sat up and tried to do it it was scratchy and hurt my throat. When I laid down and started pleasing my self again, it came out easy and free. I even tried lying down an...

Production night, Im nervous!

Im in this play at my school and opening night is coming up and I'm nervous! There is going to be alot of people watching and in my role, i have to tell the story to the auidence, like a narrator. Any advice to make the nervousness go away?

ok a friend of mine is an extremely bad singer and i dont know how to tell her! She thinks she is awesome and wants everyone to hear her (which isnt a bad thing, but...) She like brags about it and shes bad! Hints??

MAKING BROCHURE ON THE COMPUTER =/

Well at school I used thsi program called Microsoft pulisher or something like that to make a Brochure for this project.
It's due on monday so i e-mailed it to myself so i can finish it thsi weekend and print it off to hand in on time on Monday.
Now when i tried to open it, it wont' let me because i don't have the program. I tried opening it with every single program of photoshop or anything i could!
That program had like designs already made for me!
I could work on it at school but you have to pay 5 cents a page and there's no colour (you're marked on colour).
Is there anyway i could open it up, or does anythign know anywhere else, a site perhaps that I could use to...

Picking a Play

I am thinking of directig a play next year for my school. I'll be a senior then. I was thinking of doing a play with anti-communism or anti-capitalism themes. I don't really want to do any adaptations of Orwell or Faranheit 451. I have a taste for last 1800s and and early 1900s Russian Literature. Like I was thinking of doing The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov or anything by Ayn Rand or Fyodor Dostoevsky.
In summary, does anybody know of a good play that is either Russian Literature or has anti-communism/anti-capitalism themes?

I need answers from student actors

I'm thinking of joining one of the school plays or musicals. I have hardly any acting experience but I can sing very well and i think if I really tried I would have the potential to be a good actor. My dream has always been to play a lead role in a show. Do you honestly think this is possible for an inexperienced sophmore to work their way up and eventually get a lead? Do you think it's worth the hard work and dedication?

For my high school play, im a freshman and wre doing seusical the musical. I need to try out for something and i dont want to look like an idiot trying out for a lead and then not getting it. Is there a small part, or something that you guys reccomend trying out for?
Our director gave us a form to fell out and ive already put down Showbird. anythgin else?

I don't get why I couldn't have been a child actress. I had never heard of Taylor Momsen until I read an article about her in Teen Vogue, and I was shocked about her previous performances. Cindy Lou Who, from "How The Grinch Stole Christmas" and "Spy Kids 2"? I had never recognized her. Are her parents famous? How did she start off so early? I had gone to auditions as a kid, and had actually been picked, but my mom turned it down. She is practically my same age, and how could she have been discovered? Did I and others actually stand the same chance as her 10 years ago? I just don't get it. (And am fairly jealous.)

my acting teacher is sooooo mean to me and she makes me cry after every class and i hate her soooooooooo much. i can't stop taking her classes because i go to a performing arts school and i HAVE to do the classes they make u do.

Texas acting classes or performing arts programs

Hi,
Where are the best, most respected acting schools/workshops in DFW?
I just relocated to the Dallas/FT. Worth area from Florida. I am a 22 year old. I love to act. I have been tons of plays and independent movies. It is my passion, therefore...I need to jump in full throttle and pursue my career beginning with training. I want to do it all! Broadway and Hollywood feature films are my ultimate goal.
Should I go to SMU or UNT and major in performing arts? Or should I go to one of those private acting studios like...KD Studio(Dallas), Texas Actors Studio(Euless), or something like the Casa Manana Theater for classes?
Please help. I want to train and get spotlight where can I go without being sc...
