all my life school has been easy for me one look at a paper and I ace the test but 8th grade is the year where they prepare you for highschool and everything wasn't so easy anymore I was still in the advanced classes but it was way harder than 7th grade then 8th grade ended and all my friends wanted to take honors classes next year and I thought I could handle it but there were summer assignments that we have to do to get into the class and it was so much and im really lazy I do all my work the very last second and now its the end of summer and I still haven't done anything so I decided to take regular classes and be the top of my class in all or in most of my classes and then in 10th grade ill take honors classes but my friends don't under...

Sweaty Problems

So I have a problem with sweating and it's pretty bad. I get hot easily and I sweat through my clothes and it not only looks disgusting, but I get so embarrassed! I have band camp coming up on Monday through next week Friday and I have to wear a certain color shirt each day. I'm so nervous that my team will see my shirt sweaty and they'll think I'm disgusting. I can't help it! How do I stop sweating?! I need advice before Monday and fast. Please help!!!

Supervisor at Work

I'm 19, he's 22 and also my superior at work. I work in a grocery store, I'm a cashier, he's 1 of 10 supervisors of the front end of the store, just one step up from me so he isn't a manager or anything huge.
Next, I explained that because I do believe that he may like me. I think he's cute and would have no qualms against this. I just want to explain some things to see if you feel the same. I am returning back to school soon so I will be going on leave of absence from work so, technically, he and I could work.
I believe he may like me because:
-he greets me at work with "well, if it isn't my favorite cashier"

Studying in Finland as A foreign student

I'm from asia and i will hopefully graduate BS Biology as my pre-medicine course. I want to study medicine, however I want to have my further study in Finland because they have free education and I don't want to be stuck in my country in my whole life. I'm so confused on what to study to become a doctor. It says that I should study licentiate of medicine and or study an undergraduate degree first before licentiate. However i'm not so sure if i am qualify to study licentiate with my BS biology degree only. Pls help me about this because I'm confused. Am I qualify to study licentiate? I'll be 20 when i will hopefully graduate in my degree now. I did various research but still confused. I made early plans because i really want to study their. Thank you very much.

13/f. Right okay so how do I say this. I'm with a guy I really like and he likes me. We have agreed that when and if we break up we won't let it affect our friendship. One slight problem. He doesn't openly tell his feelings. Obviously not a problem some people don't but he says he'd kiss me and I've said I'd kiss him come the time and I don't want to rush him. I asked a question some days back on being confused, about a guy who likes me but has a girlfriend, and asked me to hang out with him..... I eventually did before I got back to read your reply by then I had made a huge mistake. I eventually went out with him, we chilled with couple of his friends, and then we drove to a dark spot where he wanted us to talk, but instead of talking we ended up kissing and making out even more than we did the first time. I've been seeing this guy. I met him at school but now we are at home for the summer time, him living in Jersey and me living in Pennsylvania. We text non-stop. We started texting and talking a lot on move out day and we really haven't stopped since and it's almost a month and a half out of school.

I met him through a mutual friend one day. She always talks about him and she put a picture of him and her on instagram one day, I thought he was cute and I told her so we were all planning to go to a party one night up at school and she told me to ask him to go. Working with a smoker

I'm a part-timer/intern at a small company. Sometimes they send me out to the field to help our field tech out, but he has a really smoking habit and chain smokes. I'm not a smoker and we work in close proximity to each other outside. I asked him the first time to please not smoke around me, but he kept doing it. So, the second time I told him to not smoke around me. He said that we are outside in an open space, so I told him that yes we are but we work in close proximity to each other, sometimes the wind blows and sometimes it doesn't, but when it doesn't it will linger. I think that I am a well-spoken individual who communicates clearly and articulately, but sometimes due to social awkwardness, shyness, forgetfulness and nervousness, I say things without really thinking and I end up communicating things incorrectly. For example, every time I have some kind of activity lately, it always involves my family and so to my boss, it seems like I don’t have a social life/any friends. I think it’s because I don’t think I talk about my friends enough. Furthermore, I’ve just happened to have a lot of family-related activities. Of course, I’m not ashamed of that. I need a little advice on how to handle a coworkers behavior! I started this part time job about 2 months ago! Everyone has been verynice! One guy in particular has been overly flirtatious, and at first I wasn't sure if it was because I was the new girl or if he really likes me! After some time has passed he's continuously hit on me and its making me a bit uncomfortable! I've already tried the nice polite route and told him I'm not interested and I don't get with people who are in relationships already! He's continued to hit in me still! Again I told him I was all set, a bit more stern! He still doesn't seem to get the idea! Should I tell him again or should I go to management? I don't want to create waves or drama, but I'm uncomfortable!

Benefits and fundraisers at work.

A couple of years ago I had breast cancer. I went thru a lot, chemo, radiation, very traumatic for me. I received a card with 30$ from my coworkers and a couple other people gave me 20$. Thank God, I am ok, now, I think.
Since then a few other people have had cancer and they have big benefit dinners, silent auctions, ect and get thousands of dollars. It made me feel really bad, because I felt like nobody at work likes me, because they didn't do anything for me. On top of it they are constantly pressuring me to give and donate and I am just so tired of them making me feel like a nobody. What should I do, quit my job or just suck it up and get over it.

How do you be yourself with a new group of people? Like, what if your social identity is defined by what your college friends loved about you, but now you need to adapt to a new group who may not love you for the same things? How do you still make new friends without putting on a total and complete facade? And how do you present yourself in a more mature way without reverting to old ways (i.e. immature humor, ignorant thinking) but still not being totally fake? How do you gain respect from people a few years older than you?

Let's say I believe in many things, God, third eye (mines open, I can see spirits and see futures sometimes), empathic (I've been told I'm one),and witchcraft, etc.. I've never told anyone I can do these things, unless they told me They could do it too. But my teacher knows I believe in God and once she found out she started treating me extremely rudely. Why do atheists hate so much? And why do they care of others belief? And when anyone mentions religions, she attacks. She starts saying,“let's not be rude." “shhh." “Quiet. No talking of it." How do I deal with this stupid, closeminded bitch?
