Alternative Education? Posted Monday April 17 2006, 7:53 pm
I'm going to tell it like it is. I'm not bragging or dramatizing anything.

Magazines Posted Saturday April 15 2006, 8:49 pm
I want to subscribe to a good, smart magazine. Do you know which ones are reliable and not too hard to read? For example, The Economist is too complex for me. Is Times good? I don't really like it when articles cite a situation or something I haven't learned about because I will get hung up on that.

What is the difference between Democrats and Republicans? In early American history it was just whether they wanted more power for the government or not, right? And also, are Democrats Liberals??

Speech Posted Monday April 10 2006, 6:29 pm
Hey there!
I'm running for Class officer of my school. My speech is here.
Is there anything I should add or take away. Or any humorous things I could add?
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is (my name). Last year, I made a huge mistake during my speech. My mistake was that I bored you to death. This year is going to be different. I’m not going to stand here and tell you that “I’m the best candidate pick me pick me.” No, that’s not my style. I’m going to keep it short and sweet.
Class Officers are some of the most important positions of our class. Wouldn’t you want someone friendly, mature, responsible, and willing to listen to represent your class? ...

ughhh. I have NO CLUE what to do. Posted Monday April 10 2006, 4:43 pm
Alright so I'm in an FCS class and our cooking groups are like, our rows, and i'm in a row with all the special ed students. And I don't know how to cook, so I kinda depend on other people to help me, but I can't depend on them. And I really don't want to go to school tomorrow because I'm way too freaked out because I won't know what to do. But I really want to see this boy, so I DO want to go, and the part of me that wants to go to see the boy that I like is over ruling the part that's worried about FCS.. plus I'm planning on staying home on Wednsday because of gym testing, so, what should I do?

Spliting It Up Posted Sunday April 9 2006, 2:49 pm
am writing a thesis paper on the Federal Theatre Project. I am towards the end, but I just need some advice on my paragraph. Each paragraph is about a different way the Federal Theatre Project bettered American Theatre or helped those involved in it. For instance some paragraphs are that it: employed many people, raised social awareness, brought about black theatre, was good for the audiences...etc. However, some of my paragraphs are VERY long, but I don't know how to brake each topic (like black theatre) into smaller paragraphs. Any ideas? thanks!
