daddy and my weight (and etc.)

Posted Tuesday February 13 2007, 11:34 pm

my dad always like criticizes me whenever i eat something. like all the time, unless its breakfast. like he says he always sees me eating when its not true, but usually im eating when hes around, but still. its really annoying because i can control it myself, and not really overeat alot, but it really pisses me off when hes like "no more supper for you, you already ate enough" because i ate dinner kinda early, and 5 hours later i just wanted a little more.. and that was like 1 hour ago. maybe i need to stop doing stuff like that cause sometimes i just eat not for hunger but for like.. because the food tastes good or something, and ive noticed i've gotten a little fatter, but im still okay and i do alot of sports too, so i can burn...

Story

Posted Tuesday February 13 2007, 10:53 pm

Ok my mom is in her 80s and I am in my 50s. STORY: I buy jewelry that is 99 cents (rings, bracelets, necklaces and pins) that look expensive. Every one including my mom have told me all the jewelry I buy is beautiful and they cannot believe I only spent 99 cent. Tonight my mom and I were discussing the jewelry and I told her that I cannot believe how I can get jewelry this cheap that look beautiful and how it looks as if I brought them at Lord & Taylors, Nordstrums. She turned to me and said; But you cannot get that at Tiffanys; This bothered me and I told her she does not have to be negative. She said; Well they arent real stones, I mean they look like you can get them at Lord & Taylors, Nordstrums, Bloomingdales but Tiffany on...

spring break

Posted Tuesday February 13 2007, 5:03 pm

i don't know if this is the right category, but i'm 15 - and i have a boyfriend. we've been together for almost a year now, and in november - his mom asked if i would like to join them on their spring break in colorado. my parents have been going along with it for the past 4 months, they haven't exactly said yes .. but they haven't totally declined it either. today, my mom said that she was leaning more towards no because "i'm only 15 and she doesn't think it's sending the right message .. staying with my boyfriend for a week" i TOTALLY understand their concern, but WHY didn't she tell me this earlier? my boyfriend and i have been talking about this since i first found out in october! we were SO excited! my parents said that i had...

About Being 16

Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 12:24 pm

Okay, so i heard my dad talking about once i turn 16 i can move out of the house whenever i wanted, but my parents would still have to look out for me. There was something else he said.. but he was whispering it to his girlfriend and when i asked him about it he was like.. you would be a big girl.. so he was obviously hiding something. My parents have been going to court lately over child custody and stuff and i wondered if anyone knew anything about turning 16 and what are some of the legal things that i can do. I turn 16 in july by the way. Anything can help, someone who would know politics would be helpful too. Thanks

Trust problems

Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 12:24 pm

I'm 14 and I'm a good kid.
I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, and I even
get good grades. My best friend was in a big
drinking phase and they knew about it. Even
though they know I've never drank before,
they've been treating me like I'm five for the
past month or so. (After not drinking for
almost 7 months) my best friend drank one time again, and they found out, so I can understand why they wouldn't trust her, but me and them have talked and they understand that
I won't do anything like that!

Whenever I try to make plans, they won't
let me go anywhere or they guilt me and tell me
how much of a hassle it is. They make me come
home before 6 and they a...

I need help badly

Posted Saturday February 10 2007, 9:52 am

My sister is already 18 years old. My parents don't let her do anything at all. They think that if she leaves that she will have sex and end up getting pregnant. That's what they always think. Everywhere she goes like if she asks to go to go to her friends house or hang out with her friends they say no. This morning they started arguing because my sister wanted to go out. I hate it when they argue. So I went and told them to stop thinking bad thoughts my sister is really not what they think. I know her more then they do. So she hit me like really badly. She said that if I say something else she will break my mouth. She is really agressive. She said that I have changed. But that's not true I haven't she has, ever since she started working. I...

is diabetes the problem?

Posted Friday February 9 2007, 7:18 pm

My dad has been SUPER angry recently.. ever since he found out he had diabetes, he has been more upset than before he found out. Could diabetes be the one causing his tempers? Or him finding out him having it made him angry, perhaps? Or both? I don't know.. but I am scared of him because he is always angry. What can I do?

my dad and me

Posted Friday February 9 2007, 2:16 am

Warning long

I've had a question like this before but I have more questions though. I am a christian so is my mom but my dad dosn't believe in God. I want to go to a christian college when I get older and he dosn't want me to because he thinks I'm gonna be a pastors wife and my husband would hate him because he drinks and all thats stuff because its a sin. I can't believe he would think that they would hate him because of that.

#2 I have been trying real hard to do my work and stuff like that but my dad just keeps putting me and down and not supporting me on what my choices are for my life. He is focusing on what I'm doing wrong and not what I'm actually trying to do.
He is putting me down on my work an...
