Deleted files on a computer..or are they?

So, a friend told me that files you delete aren't entirely wiped off your computer; traces of them remain on your computer "so computer geeks can tap into them later". Is this true? If so, how the hell can I get rid of them? I'm really pressed for space as it is, I don't want deleted files lurking in my hard drive. >.>

My computer keeps asking for a address and port number but i have no clue what they are. Is there anyway i can find this information or what? please help! if this helps i have a toshiba windows 7 and im connected to the internet through comcast.

oovoo connection isnt working, how come?

my oovoo simpky isnt working properly. (going to try to make this as short) i dont beleive this is a big problem, but it is definitly interfering for me on oovoo, such as me video chatting with anyone. So all i can do is chat. and i really, really want to video chat, that is what it for. So i think it is my connection because it even will tell me (a little notice will pop up while im in the middle of chat) that the connection is lost. So time and time again i log out and log back in or even exit and enter it, or shut down and restart and nope nothing. So right now it's not possible for this to work. Which is why i need advice. And please no one say switch to skype or something..no...no lol evryone has oovoo and their system is working fine....

Itunes Cookies

Okay, so I downloaded the latest itunes. I have an account from before, I just got a new computer and its not letting me download songs now. Whenever I try, there is a message that says I need to allow the cookies to access my itunes. I've tried going to the control panel and through the "tools, internet options" but I still can't get it to allow cookies for itunes. I don't know what else I can do to allow cookies or if I need to do something different to fix this problem. My computer is a Windows 7. Please help!

uninstall toolbar?

one day i was just browsing the internet and i found this cool toolbar kind of thing and i thought it was something different but when i downloaded it on my computer, i realized its not what i wanted. so i uninstalled it. but now whenever I go on the internet, there's a pop up saying "you tried uninstalling this toolbar. would you like to successfully remove this toolbar?" and i click yes but then nothing happens. the pop up box just leaves and then if i exit out of internet and go back on it, the pop up box comes up again. i dont know whats wrong! I dont think its a virus because nothing unusual is happing to my computer.. its acting the same as it did before i installed it.
can someone please help me?

How do you turn off the wii exactly? I just got it and don't understand. When I hit the power button on the wii remote the little light on the wii goes yellow instead of green. Is that right? Or should it be red? :/

i need to hack onto someones facebook account. does anybody know a good website or even a person who will help me? also, i'm looking for a FREE source. i dont want to pay. i know that paying will help me better chances but i'm not willing to pay.
please dont go through the trouble to stop me because i really have to figure this out. i know its bad and i dont want to go into full detail why i'm doing this, but i'm just looking to see if anybody knows a person who is good at it, or a source that can help me? or at least instructions how to do it. WII REMOTE TROUBLES ANSWER RIGHT AWAY!!! URGENT!!!

I just got a new game for my wii and a few days ago my sister borrowed my wii remote for her wii and now I took my wii remote back and it refused to work for my wii but both her wii remote and mine work for her wii system but neither work for mine. I tried disconnecting them several times I tried restarting them and I tried unplugging her wii but it still won't work anyone know what to do?

I have a hotmail account and i would like to know what it takes to find some one in Denmark that is on the help line that will help people and stop wasting our time. 3 months ago my hotmail went down, it took a month before it was working again and nearly cost me 400 kr in telephone calls, i also felt that’s some of the staff thought it was all a big joke. Now my hotmail went down again last Friday 24.12.2010 its now 31.12.2010. I have spoken to 4 people, they have all told me something different, and im no wiser, each phone call has been around 2o minutes to half a hour. Is there anyone one can contact for some positive help.

What's a good computer?

So, my birthday is coming up soon and I know my mom's going to start asking me what I want for a present. I was thinking maybe a new computer, because I already have a laptop and it kind of gets glitchy a lot because it's a couple of years old. I was looking at my dad's computer, which is one of those newer ones that are really small, because in a year when I go off to college, I'd like something that wouldn't take up a lot of space. I don't really know a lot about computers though :/ Any good brand names I should look at? I just want it to be reliable, fast, and for it to be able to play some games like Sims without glitching up. So, if any of you know a lot about computers, any advice you can give me?
