egg donor Posted Friday June 3 2005, 3:19 pm
i'd like to know if it is wrong to donate your eggs/semen to couples who cannot copulate in exchange for money. There are constanly ads for this sort of thing and i'm broke. my boyfriend thinks it's horrible that i would want to give my not-yet-concieved child away, but if it provides me enough cash to stay in school, pay rent, and get to work on public transit I can't see how it is so wrong if i screen the people to give it to. i don't want to do the wrong thing to make money, i just naturally see it as helping people, nt selling a baby. please help?

My boss tells me I demean her in front of others Posted Thursday May 19 2005, 10:43 am
Good morning-
I have been working at a job I am happy with for 9 months, but my supervisor feels I demean her in front of her boss, especially during meetings. We are all asked for our opinions on what we feel might go wrong with a particular project my boss is in charge of (which has been behind on it's implementation), but I know that in the end the problems I currently see will be resolved. I give honest answers in these meetings (in front of the VP), but she feels I volunteer too much information on the problems we currently face in front of him and this embarasses her. There are bugs with the system, and we have several weeks to correct them. I have been told I have embarrased her twice before in meetings regarding this projec...

casino for a sweet 16 party theme? Posted Saturday April 30 2005, 11:41 am
Ok i was thinking of having casino night be the theme of my sweet 16 party but my dad doesnt like the idea because we cant gamble until we are 21..so it isnt "appropriate." What do you guys think? there wouldnt be gambling or anything at the party..just some really cool party decorations. (if your interested in looking at them check out party411.com) Maybe some card playing and a pool table would be at the party..but no gambling or anything..i just thought it would be a cool idea. What do you think?

Is it normal to feel you have to compete with other women? Posted Tuesday April 5 2005, 1:23 pm
Hi. I always think it's important for me to look prettier and do better than all women I know. Whether they are in my family or not. It's not so much friends, but especially people I hate. Is this normal? What should I do to ween myself off of acting this way?
Thanks

I hate vocally and emotionally unsupportive people!!! Posted Monday April 4 2005, 8:25 pm
Hi. There's someone in my family, who I have to see at least twice a month (and sometimes randomly), who's married into our family (very much like myself), who isn't an affectionate and vocally and emotionally supportive person like I am. I feel it makes us collide as beings and causes some unspoken tension between us (on my part, at least). I try to keep my distance from her, yet at the same time I don't want it to appear blatantly to anyone (including her) that I feel she's unwelcome in my life, even though it's sort of true. She's not an affectionate person, and she has an aggressive straight-forwardness that can come across to be very controlling and uncaring on her part. How do I learn to be close to and accept someone married into the family?

I hate people who are too honest! Posted Monday April 4 2005, 7:57 pm
Hi. I have a really hard time getting over things that people do that emotionally hurt me, yet I mostly keep it all bottled inside of myself. I try to prevent opening up about it to the exact person if I feel it's uneccessary. In the meanwhile, I had in-laws of mine tell me things that they only said out of being helpful, or they just said something without thinking or not caring on how I would feel afterwards. They aren't necessarily being evil or spiteful people, yet it can seem that way to me at times. That's why I try to not really associate myself with them if I don't really have to. I do receive telephone calls from them from time to time and alot of times, I feel like I have to put on a front and act all happy to hear from them, when...

i have a really odd habit of looking at peoples mouths when they talk. i am fairly short (often eye level with the chins of my peers), and tend to read lips in a noisy environment or other instances where i have trouble understanding people. Friends have commented on this before and i would really like to stop. Do you have any tips as to how to break this habit? thanks!

Blurting rude things out Posted Tuesday March 22 2005, 10:33 am
I have found myself snapping at people calling them complete morons and other such insults. I do it when I am frustrated or even slightly annoyed. I have no patience for anyone it seems. Later on I regret saying such things. I've said these things to friends and family, and even my boyfriend ,whom I adore. But when the moment hits me it seems I can't prevent the waspish comments from bursting out. How do I explain to these people why I say such things? I've hurt their feeling and it really upsets me. I don't mean to be mean. It seems i just can't help it.

amish look Posted Wednesday March 16 2005, 5:31 pm
I've started using an amish appearence. (I dressed in black a lot and use no make-up.) Nobody even understands why I'm doing it. I'm sort of doing it as an expirement. (My utmost apologies if I spelled that incorrectly.)It freaks out my teachers, classmates call me a farmer, my boyfriend acts scared of me, and my parents don't like anything about my new look. All I've changed is how I look. I don't want to lose my friends just for the sake of looking amish. But, if they can't accept how I want to look, are they real friends? What should I do? Advice please!

Why is it when I look at certain people's typing, my eyes begin to burn? My eyes burn especially with sticky caps, and internet abbreviations.
(luv, gurl, boi, seckz, lol, brb, kay, ur, u, r, etc)
It's almost unbearable, how do I make it stop?
