My throat. I'm scared.

This morning I woke up and my throat felt funny, but it didn't hurt. Throughout the day I felt sicker and sicker. On my way home it felt like a regular cold. Now its almost midnight, I took a long nap. Now my throat feels really really tight. I'm scared to go to sleep. I'm scared that each breath is my last. I looked in the mirror and the food hole looks smaller. Is it possible that my throat can close and I'll stop breathing? I haven't felt my throat this bad in a long long time. What can it possibly be? Can you explain the closing process? If I can suffocate, is it a painful death? If something were to go wrong while sleeping, would I feel it, or would I just not wake up? Could this be ANYTHING besides mono?

is there any other sicknesses with similar symptoms to mono? my doctor is convinced i dont have it but i have experienced many of the symptoms, such as one extremely swollen gland, loss of appitite, achiness, and i had a fever for a day. the fever just broke and now i have an itchy rash. i got tested for mono but the results arent back yet. just wondering if i have a shot at it NOT being mono

So, I'm not sure if this is anything to worry about or not so I thought I'd ask.. Well, it's kind of like I'm sick but it hurts some where different every day. It seemed to have started a few weeks ago when all I did for like 3 days was sleep. If I wasn't at school I was sleeping. I was just exhausted. Then sometime last week, in class we were reading from our novel and my right shoulder started to hurt and the right side by my upper ribs had a very sharp pain in it every time a took a deep breathe so I was taking very short brief breathes. I even tried taking a really deep breathe but it was too painful and my vision started to fuzz so I stopped. Eventually, that stopped. Then like the next day, I was laughing and my ba...

I dont know if im in the write section but i have an eating disorder. I am 12 years old. I am seriously afraid to tell my parents. Or maybe its because i dont know how but every since i was in 2nd grade i was teased because of my weight so in about 4th grade i stoped eating. I would Only eat 150 calories a day and if i went over that i would through up whatever i ate then wouldnt eat for afew days. When peOple look at me they just think that imam fit but everyone can see the outline of my bones. My mom just thinks that i am skinny. I need help. Please somebody help

I live with pain everyday and the doctor dont know what is wrong with me.I have diabetes,nuropthy,rumartard arthristis.But i feel different types of pain everyday,Like a squezzeing pain anround my chest and back,a piercing pain in my side,my whole back has a extreme throbbing pain going from my kneck to my hips,Sore spots all over my body where the lightes touch takes me to my knees,i cant stand,or walk long.sitting and lying down hurts i pee constantly like every 15 minutes.I had pacraritise twice,and my appendix taken out and all this pain came on me all at once during october 2008 and has not stopped since.I do take tramadol for pain.I have lost even more whaight since 2008 went from 260 to 215 before around 2004 i went from 360 to 260 i...

mouth problems

In the past 8 days Ive been having mouth issues. At first I just had swollen lips and a white lesion on my bottom lip, also the corners of my mouth are dry and cracked and bleeding. Within the past 2 days my white lesion on my lips is gone, but now there it is on the bottom of my tongue and there are a few of them. They look kind of like white patches and come off easily if scratched off but then reapear. The bottom of my tongue is sore and so is the gums behind my teeth which now feel scratched. My lips have stayed swollen throughout the entire time and the cracks at the corners of my mouth are still dry, scabby and bleeding. I am wondering if this could be thrush. i am pregnant and a bit concerned. Has anyone had this before?

Black lump the size of a bean in my eye!

Hi i have a small size like bean in the inside of my right eye it was the same color as my inside bottom eyelid now its dark almost black it looks like a really small part of it is conected to my eye lid im scared dont know what it could be. Can any one tell what it could be or has any one had something like that happen.? Thanks

I am 15, a girl, and I recently was diagnosed with cancer. I start chemo tomorow. I am going to loose all my hair and throw up a lot. I am very scared because I always thought I was healthy. My friends and family come to see me a lot but after a while I think they will forget about me and not come as often and not talk to me anymore. I was told I probably wont live much longer and Im soooo scared! Please help.

Ok so about 3 weeks to a month ago, I was REALLY sick! My throat was in excruciating pain!!! My ears felt like they were gonna pop. So, I went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics. I started to feel better. But, I was a little weak. Around Friday, I started to get a really bad pain in my ear. I thought maybe I had an ear infection. At night, the pain gets worst! I'm talking bad!!! Likw when I swollow, it hurts my ear. When I talk, it hurts my ear. Its not a small pain. Its excruciating and keeping me up at night. Its my right ear and on my right tonsil there's white dots. I'm going to the doctor today, but I just wanted to see if any of you can give me your opinion on this...

f/17 so i have bumps on the inside of my vagina. my doctor has told me its only redumnate skin and its normal but its very very painful for me to have intercourse and my mother doesnt want to take me to an obgyn cuz one she doesnt know im sexually active and two the only obgyn that accepts my insurance is over an hour away and she thinks its fine since my pediatric doctor says its fine im not asking what it is i just want it to stop hurting. ive tried using lubes and being very slow but its still very painful and im sick of it. how can i make it stop hurting? awnser from a doc or someone who know what theyre talking about please?

I was sick for a month and a half with a herpes virus on my tongue, and couldn't eat, talk or walk. it's taken me another month to heal and all i have been doing is lying around in my house waiting to be healthy again basically. I feel so unmotivated and find myself crying all the time. It's so hard for me to be positive sometimes and i really, really want to gain my weight back, but i have noo appetite. If anyone has any words of advice on health, or has been through anything remotely like this before please feel free to help me on anything.

I'm 18 years old and only been with one person that I am still with. When I enter a finger into my vagina, it comes to a stop with my finger half way in, but if I move my finger back towards the anus it goes farther back. This place also hurts during sex because the penis pushes aginst it. I don't feel like it is normal. What should I do?

pulse in my abdomen

Sometimes I can feel a pulse in my abdomen, not hard but just there, (not pregnant) and I thought it was normal until I looked online and saw that it's a symptom of an AAA which I forget how to spell. Anyway it scared the living crap out of me as I fear surgery. Are there other symptoms I should look out for? I know it's more of an elderly thing but I'm paranoid sometimes. Is it normal? Thank you!
