k, im in 9th grade and i have to wake my 8 year old brother up for school and he never gets up when i tell him to. what can i do to make him get up the first or atleast the second time i tell him too? he has an alarm clock but it doesn't wake him up so i do it.

My best friend's dad did something that really offended me, and we've normally gotten along really well. I wrote him a letter to try to express my feelings. Should i send it? or let it go? If yes, can you suggest any changes?

Well I am 23 and got engaged when I was 17. My mom has been very supportive of this and happy for the two of us. Then my Dad isnt very happy he hasn't talked to me since I told him I was engaged. I know I have never been close to him but it has been really bugging me since I am to be getting married in May. I know that he is not going to be the one to walk me down the isle I told him that along time ago that it would be my brother that is going to. But what I am trying to see is should I get married without my dads approval?

My birthday is in 6 days. My parents usually don't buy me much for my birthday but this year they said I can pick out something kinda "big." I really want a Sidekick and they think it's sooo expensive and they are like no way! But that's all I want. How can I convince them to let me get one? How much is texting unlimited?? Also don't tell me to be extra nice to them because I'm NOT a suck-up, I'm a real person. I already have perfect grades and I'm a good kid and I haven't gotten anything expensive in a while. I have Verizon and Verizon's text plans are kinda expensive and they don't have unlimited. Ok. So, i'm 14/f. and this is kinda a long story, i'll try to make it as short as i can. so when my mom was 18 (she is 37 now) she had a baby. She didn't mean to or anything, but its just one of those kinda things that happend. She knew that she couldn't take care of her, so she gave her to a family that couldn't have a baby. Pants and Mom

I know she did not say that I should gain weight. However, I keep thinking I have a few other pants that are big (I brought them that way - it was the style) and if I wear them and she sees them on me she will say the same thing. However, I have worn one of the pants that are big and she hasnt said anything. Am I overreacting to the above?

miss the bus all the time

its so fucking annoying. this entire year so far i've probably missed the bus about 15 times. and now my mom is fed up with driving me to school (my dad used to do it but he leaves for work very early now) so she makes me stay home. this is the 2nd time i have to stay home.. idk im so fucking disorganized with everything. after tidying my room (which will take me like 1-3 days to do.. cuz i get distracted) it just gets messy during the week and then i go through the same brutal weekend ritual of cleaning it and then it just gets messy later. i dunno why my mom obsesses over that. i wanna clean it when i want to. but honestly i dont give a damn what it looks like unless visitors or something are there. i can find things in the mess too. noth...

I hate my family. ok..so i am afraid ever since i was little my mom always told me never to have a boyfriend becase they always only want sex. so i grew up(im 15 by the way) hating guys. so i really liked this guy and we went out and i was always afraid to tell him how i felt i was afraid of letting him hug me i dont know why i feel like i look stupid kissing him. or hugging him. and when i would kiss him i would always feel uncomfterable and never want to do it. i never told him how much i liked him. my mom just keeps telling me all these negative things about guys, she also told me that guys just want to have sex and that god will be mad with me if i have a boyfriend so i dont want God to be mad at me! what do i do? help please!

I am going to Alton Towers with my friends on the weekend but my parents wont let me go up in the car so i have said that i am going up on the train, but they want to see the train tickets and even take me to the train station but ive said that i am sleeping up my friends house and then we going to the train station together but really im going up in the car, what can i do to get around this i need help!!!

my sister just came out to my parents that she was gay. my dad and mom dont even talk to her any more and my dad said he wanted nothing to do with her. i dont care. i love her no matter what. but my sister wants to run away or move out. she wants to live with my principal whos are really close friend but i dont want her to move. shes turning 16 monday and she said that its legal then to move out. i told her i didnt want her to but she keeps saying that she cant live at home anymore. not with parents who dont even talk to her anymore just because shes gay. i dont want to loose my sister! any advice would help! tanxs(im 14 if it helps)

this could go under a number of catagories... im sorry.
my life is like a freakin train wreck. its one thing after another. family problems, friendship problems, relationship problems... (my ex bf moved 2000 miles away 3 years ago and we are still in love) we broke up cause he moved... im stressing out about school.
i feel like i cant trust anyone, because as soon as i do, they end up walking away from me saying that they cant handle it.
i used to cut. was clean for 7 months then recently started again. i hate my life and at times i want to end it. im more stressed at home than i am at school.
my friend told me to take things one at a time and work on making them better... but im not sure where to star...

sherriffs sale

My boyfriends ex girlfriend owns the house we are in. He doesnt know that i know the house is foreclosing. We are moving into our new home next month around the 15th. I saw the sherriff auction paper in his car and it is for the 11th. Arent i going to find out eventually??Does the winning bidder push eviction? how does that work.He says he is in a hurry to buy our new house because his ex is pushing him out. Should i be worried that he is so secretive? why wont he just tell me the truth?I wont be angry with him.
