sorry i didn't really know what category to put this in, but i have these flats that i LOVE but i stupidly ran throgh a mucky puddle with them and they got all wet and muddy. like SOAKED. and this was last night, and they still are really wet. is there any way i can salvage them from being ruined? they're pretty muddy and grassy and wet so should i soak them, put them in the dryer, or what?

So I walked up to my teacher when she was talking with another teacher but I didn't say anything because they were still talking and I didn't wan tto speak until they were finished although i didn;t know how long that would be so they talked like for five minutes longer which didn't bother me but she was gonna walk away like i wasn't standing there was i wrong for not saying anything or walking up there to start with? I didn't speak until he had left

need advice for trip!

okay so i will be going a month to a trip in canada ..its like english classes in the morning and in the afternoons activities ,like niagara falls , new york city, wonderland park (like the paramount disney version) etc...so what would you do ...would you go to the program between ages 14-17 years old...or 17 and up if your 17?? its like ...i wouldn't want to be with people older than me that much like people between 26 or anything ...but also i would nt want to be with 14 year old kids! im 17 by the way

I'm 13.
Me and my bf have been going out for 2 months and total on and off for a year and we havent kissed.
He is a shy guy and the only things he does is put his arm around mea nd hug me everyday. I'm having my 2 best guys friends to talk to him about what he should do to his girlfriend (me) and I dont know if thts bad. But I'm crazy abt him but shoudl i wait for him or just kiss him. the past 2 days i have been feeling really crappy. and all my friends noticed it. like sometimes im really happy but im cranky. like im happy but not at the same time. im normally a boy freak. im always thinking someone is cute and always liking one. but lately i took a break and now im comfortable with who i am. but i dont know somethings missing. like a part of me was liking someone and now i dont. and i jsut cant find someone to like. and i have no idea what to do. how do i make it so i dont feel crappy becuase of this?

(1) I dont understand my sister.I buy beautiful jewelry which sells for 99 cents for each piece of jewelry but they look very expensive.Friends, Strangers, coworkers, etc all think I brought my jewelry in Lord & Taylors, Bloomingdales, Nordstrums, etc. However, my sister will not buy this jewelry. Am working on a project that's due tomorrow (in 8.5 hours, actually). Right now, it's 1:30am. This project was assigned over a week ago and I just .. agh, got distracted, etc.
Does anyone have any tips for me so I won't procrastinate? I already don't get enough sleep during the week (5 hours max), and it looks like tonight's another all nighter. So what should I do?
Please don't dare say the words "time management"... Because obviously, I need help managing my time and I don't know how to. That's why I'm asking this question.
And share personal experiences and improvements afterwards please...I'll be working on the project and checking here once in the while...

18/f. Second year university, studying graphic design.
Anyway. Here's my prob.
I do the work study program at my uni, which is when the student gets a 'job' in the campus and works for however many hours s/he wishes and gets paid as s/he works (about $5.5 per hour). Anyway. I've given a schedule to my 'boss' (i work for the facilities manager) and I stick to it all the time. However, he ALWAYS wants me to come in whenever I am free, even if I've worked for that day and have nothing else to do! He even makes me come in on weekends and work... I just seriously hate it. There were couple of times when I couldn't work on the scheduled day and I worked extra in advance 'cause of that - and I let him know that "...

I cant except myself of whom i am, i reailzed i'm bi and i dont like it. the funny thing is i dont look at women sexual like i only compare myself with them. but i'm in love with my best friend and she knows. and she might like me back. but i dont want her to because i worry of what others think. but my sisters tell me that they except me of who i am. why cant I? did that ever happen to you? how did you finally except yourself?

okay well in one of my classes, this cute boy sits behind me and i am really outgoing to him cause that's just naturally how i am. i always talk more and i become the OPPOSITE of shy when i'm around a guy i like, for the most part.
well, in that class, i always tend to converse with him, and my teacher always snaps dirty looks at me to get to work. well i try really really hard to concentrate, but i dont want to ignore him! how do i stay on task and not talk to him without seeming like a hoebag?

15/female, freshman... ok so I swore to myself I'd try to never get involved with the guys in high school until a few months ago. This one really nice junior just ended up strinking a random conversation with me and for some reason I was (strange as it sounds)hooked. Well today I was finally gonna talk to him and I ended up making a complete idiot out of myself and then his (out of no where!!)girlfriend shows up. I feel so stupid. What do I do now?

Going 'emo'

Hey. Well, I'm 13/f and I go to middle school, 7th grade. I know, please believe me, that labels are the stupidest thing on the Earth, but I have to use them just for this particular question.
Okay, well, I used to be 'prep' but now I find myself likeing things the 'emo's' were and at my dad's house, in his neighborhood, I hang out with the 'emo' people. I really like all the things they do, like, the eye makeup, the styles[kind of], and stuff like that.
Problem is, if I just, one day 'become' 'emo' then everyone will call me a poser. What do I do?
And, I have blonde hair and blue eyes, and I love cheerleading. I know, that's kind of 'preppy' but I like being 'emo' more than being 'prep'.

Do you remember when I told you about Marjorie the coworker who gives bad advice well she did it again she is very hostile. She told me that I should not have been a witness to the conversation Tania and Tanias boss had with Kathy. Marjorie would have told them no way is she going to get involved. Tania is my boss as well. How can I say no to my boss when she said she really needed me to be a witness to the conversation.
