I'm in college and for my degree I need to take Biology, and that's a problem. In high school I passed biology with a 70 [the lowest passing grade] and that was with tutoring and extra credit! I've asked my friends what to do and they tell me to use "ratemyprofessors.com" to find out which teachers teach better and are easier. They say they do it for the classes that they're bad at, too. Should I use the website to save my grades?

Say if you divide and you come up with a fraction. How do you get a fraction? I don't really get how you get the numbers for it.
And how to do this? I forgot. I keep getting it wrong.

ok so I have always had difficulties with math and I always forget the stuff over the summer.Like what a square root is and stuff so I am asking for a website or someone who is exellent at math to sort of be my internet tutor.Thanks in advance for the website or tutor person hahahaha I crazy I just want to excel this year=]

hello. well in entreprenuership class we have to come up with a business idea and find out about it. i am going to do a magazine/catalog for islamic clothing. well i need to find out how much it costs,approximately, to start the magazine. and how much i would be earning. things like that. so please if you could help me at all i would greatly appreciate it. thank you.

HELP ME SOMEBODY PLEASE!!!! i have left school with only a few G grades (apart from getting a C grade in English).The reason being is that I have been VERY VERY ill with depression following the deaths of two people and ended up (i know it sound s awful) misssing about 4 years of high school.HELP!!!!!! I only got G's
I feel in a state if absolute despair. What can I do? What are somebody options in terms of college/further education if they get G grades? What courses would be suitable for them? Is it impossible to get a good job? PLEASE just be honest with me....but have I got no decent future in all honesty.PLEASE HELP ME I AM RUNNING OUT OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!Is this an English site by the way....only I wasn't sure...but anywa...

Entance Exams for High School

I'm really nervous about the entrance exams for high school. >.< I'll be applying to 4 different high schools, but when? My teacher said that the exams usually start around December to January. What do I need to study? In middle school all we really studied in math was pre-algebra and really basic algebra so I'm really nervous about my math. Was the test hard? How does these reccomendations work? Why do some highschools ask for interviews, and are they frequent? Please help this fretting senior junior high school student.

this year money is tight {i think} my dad put off school supplies till the last second and he only gave me 20$ i need a new backpack cuz he made me get rid of my old ones but i also need like paper pens nd everything to i dont no waht to do i cant ask for more he will get mad but i cant get my stuff with only 20$ he didnt give me any money for clothes or shoes so now i get to go to school with shoes that are falling apart and jeans to small for me and we jusy moved too so i need to make friends but i will look like a loser with no backpack or new shoes and lod clothes that are praticaly to small i need money but i have no way of etting it there is no one to babysit and i am only 13 and get cant a job and i need a haircut as well like bad s...

Ok, so i moved from California to Ohio this summer, mid July, and i didnt really meet anyone during the summer because there wernt really any oppotunities. So i thought ok i will make friends when school starts, well i started wednesday. No one has even attempted to talk to me there, not even say hi. So when lunch comes around i sit at an empty table and eat by myself. I feel like such a loner. At my old school i had soooo many friends. What am i doing wrong? People tell be just be friendly, well of course im friendly but whenever i try to talk to people i feel out of place, like they are thinking, "Who is this weird new girl?" Im tired of not having anyone to talk to or hang out with, Ive cried all my tears and I just want to kn...

Studying and Homework.

Lately I have been studying 3-6 hours a day. After about an hour I start getting that weird feeling like I can't stand to sit still anymore, a cramp in my wrist, and my neck hurts. So I get up, stretch, take a short break and go back to work. Like half an hour later I'll start getting all ancy all over again. What are some good tips to help me study longer without easily getting wrist cramps, neck pains and ancy feelings? Thanks.

omg i need help with my les miserables notes.
does anyone know:
1) how light is used symbolically (like candles, candlesticksm halos, stars, sunlight, etc)
2) what is contrasted to nature? and associated with it?
3) and also according to the book: what is the human potential for goodness?
what causes problems for society?
how can people make the world a beter place for everyone?
what are our responsibilities to ourselves? our society?

Okay, so for school over the summer we had to read a book. This book is extremely boring and I lose interest in it fast. There is alot of big words and its like "how do i read this?" Well i start school tuesday. theres 319 pages and im on like page 140. I dont know if there anything to motivate me or help or what. But I dont know what to do!

since i'm going to highschool in september i'm very curious how ppl. are judgemental.
1)i'm a girl and i waz wondering in school dances if i am grinding with a girl... would that be considered as being bi..because i'm NOT.. so is it o.k to grind with a person the same sex as you?

My mom pushes me with grades. She made me study all day for 5 days for one test, and I got a 77. Now I'm grounded for 2 weeks and have to study even harder and longer. I have no social life during the week and rarely on weekends because my mom always makes me study. I'm just not that smart. My first language is Chinese, so school in America is difficult and my mom doesn't care. She hit me with the textbook once because I didn't take notes like she told me to. My friends and I agree that I'm doing the best I can, and adding even more days of non-stop studying won't help. What do I do?

I am a Junior this year and I feel nervous that, since I have to retake a freshman class I'll feel left out and stupid. So I will be sitting in a class with freshmen students. Also, I am afraid to get the same science teacher as I did last year because I don't want her to think I am dumb since I got to take a freshman class. I mean, I want to take this class to get my credits so I can graduate in time. Any quick tips on how to deal with this?
