Driver's License

If a 16-year-old gets a driver's license in a state in which the legal driving age is 16, would their license still be valid - and would they be allowed to drive - in a state where the legal age is, say, 18?

my dad said he wants one of those car lockers that you just push the button and it locks or unlocks. so you dont have to put a key in you know? well i tried searching it on google but i dont know the name of it. anyways i live in denver colorado..if that helps..we have like sears walmart target lowes all those types of things..would i possibly find one there? or a car store? and whats the approximate price range for most trucks? thanks much.

Damage

I hit a deer with my car, well actually the deer hit me. There is no damage to the front of the car, the windshield isn't broken, and the airbags didn't go off, the only damage is on the hood of the car itself.

My parents don't want to report it to the insurance company, how much do you think it would be to pay it out of pocket? Do you think they could just bang the hood out so it would fit again or would we need to replace the entire hood?

what are some good sensible cars for a sixteen year old? my birthday isnt until april but i'm gonna have to work on my parents for awhile so it's probably a good idea to start now! something not too expensive please. i'm looking for a big small car if you know what i mean.

Renewing my License for my 21st in Ohio

I'm looking into renewing my driver's license for my 21st birthday. The DMV's website says I can renew my license 30 days in advance. (My birthday is January 5, and it's an Ohio license.) I was wondering if my license will say anything about being under 21 if I get it before my birthday. Also, what do you bring to renew your license? Can you renew your license in any county or does it have to be the same county as your address?

What is a good beginner sportbike? Who makes the most reliable bike (Honda, BMW, SUZUKI, YAMAHA, etc.). I would REALLY like a crotch rocket, but I'm not sure.

Hey! im 17 got my G1 in feb 2007.... and im in driving school to get my G2.
But my mom just WONT take me driving! and when she dose its in a parking lot!
how can i convince her to take me driving?

Windex on my Car

Yesterday I wasn't thinking, and my windshield on my car and my windows were dirty. However, I didn't have enough time to wash my car, so I got a bottle of Windex and cleaned the windows. I also got a few spots of bird crap off the hood of my car with the Windex. Afterward my mom was like, "You used Windex on your car?" which worries me. Is Windex going to eat away at my paint job (white)? What do I need to do? Thank you all!

Scratch removal on a Car

I have these like white scratches on my car...and when they are wet, they kind of fade away...why is that?
And is there any way to get rid of them without taking them to an autoshop (i'm 16...so i don't want my parents to see it)

Driving Test

Ok, so im 16, well will be in a few days, and i have to take my driving test. i have my permit and everything, and ive driven a lot so far, almost a whole year, but im still worried i wont know some stuff on the driving test. like 4 pt turns and things like that. can anyone tell me some of the basic things ill have to know how to do, besides the obvious parallel parking etc? im worried i wont pass..ive never taken drivers ed or anything...

"white" scratch

Ok...so i accidentally scratched my car (it's like on the bottom) like i scraped against a curb...and its like a white scratch...is that like the paint is gone...or is there a way to fix it (i'm 16...so having a scratch on my car isnt really going to go over well with my parents) and plus i can't just have it fixed...b/c i dont want my parents to know about it...

ok i dont know what to do. this morning i was driving to school, following a car [with at least 2 people in it] that turned onto a road. right when they turned on the road, they slammed on brakes and turned the blinker on. i slammed on my brakes and came EXTREMELY close. im not sure if i hit.. i didnt hear or feel anything other than my brakes locking, but i seemed very very close to them. if i did hit, it was extremely minor, like barely touching. they turned into a driveway and sat on the end of it for a minute. i pulled over in the grass but couldnt get out right away because traffic was coming. neither the driver nor the passenger got out, waved at me, rolled down a window or anything, but then they backed out of the driveway, sat there...

car.. turning 16 in april

ok well im turning 16 in april.. i know thats like awhile from now. but like my dad is like against having a car when youre 16 and where i live like every kid gets a car when theyre 16 and its like essential to like get around and stuff. i mean it wouldnt be THAT big of a deal to me except for the fact that my parents are like you cant drive in cars w/ ur friends that just got their license. what do they expect? that theyre gonna drive me around for the rest of my life? any ways to convince them that i should be able to get a car (not neccesarily for my birthday just like sometime soon). also what are some ways to make money? i cant really get like a good job right now bc of school but i want to get one this summer. how much do like used cars cost?

Pilot or Odyssey...

So, our family have been going back and forth between the Honda Pilot and Honda Odyssey. We really don't know which one to buy. Could someone list the pros and cons of each & which one you guys would buy and why?
We need a lot of cargo room since we do mass shopping type thing and since I have a sister in college that brings half the house with her to her dorms. And I'll be going to college in 3 years. And which one has a higher safety rating? They both seem similar to us when we checked the sites & googled it & etc. Uh, which one would be better in the future, also, to like sell I guess? Or keep?
I don't know. I prefer the van...but my mom says it looks like a Mom car [ironic, I know] and she like...
