head internal bleeding

My brother is diabetic and he accidentally hit his head while getting in the car did not paid too much attention to it until a couple days after when we call 911 for an ambulance because he was really bad. It seems that he was bleeding internally due to the hit in the head and did not know it, that was the explanation the Doctor gave us, he undergo an operation and after 24 hours he seem completely well until four days after the operation when he could not speak any more, the doctor requested to a nurse to give my brother some medication for seizure and he responded well, but after a few hours he was back to the same condition. Now they are checking that all the nerves in his head are working normal and after 20 hours they will let us know ...

Face Burns

HELP!
I used a new acne medication, and now have burns on my face from it. I was unaware that i couldn't have direct contact with the sun while using it, and laid out the next day after using it. I am so embarrassed to go out in public, and i am in pain. I need a quick healing remedy for these burns. (in case it matters, the medication i used was atralin). I've been applying neosporin. but it's not working =(

Why is my gum swollen?

I have a question, on the from of my gum on the bottom right hand side my gum is swollen and i dont know why because it wasent swollen earlier at all and now it is i have a little black spot on in the tip of my gum to and i went to get my teeth cleaned like a month ago or a couple weeks ago and i had braces on and got them off like before i got my teeth cleaned and the dentist that cleaned them said that i am at risk of getting some kind of gum disease because i hadnt gotten them cleaned sense 2006 and i didnt know it had been that long and iam scared that im going to get that gum disease it starts with a P but i cant even spell it so what do i do? I really dont want to loose my teeth and i dont have enought money for implants and i dont ev...

sex hurts sometimes

Hey im 18/f and my boyfriend is 21/m. I've had sex with 2 guys in my life. Ive had sex enough times to know when it feels good so this isnt a does sex hurt question. Im concerned because my current boyfriend when we have sex it really hurts when it goes about halfway inside it like burns. (I dont have an STD either btw) When i first started having sex with him a couple months ago it always felt really good. But now it hurts really bad. Sometimes the left side of my vagina gets irritated and im not sure whats going on. Its like a burning. I know i get "wet" enough so thats not the problem. Is this normal??

Sssoooo for the last few days my hips been hurting when i move it at wide angles (say im standing and i lift my leg left leg sideways (not infront or behind) and it feels like the joint is aching a bit. i havent had any major injuries in a loong ass time from skatboarding which to say the least isnt normall for me lol. Anyways i get out and start skating, i dont do anything too big untill i'v warmed up for at least 20 mins just blasting round the park as best i can while getting used to the feel of my board again but after say an hour or so my hip starts hurting again. i get home after say being out for at least 4 hours normally and my hip's still a little achey but its allways gone by the next day untill i try to skate again. is skating ov...

okay this has become i major problem
in my life at the age of 13 which is pretty
young. everytime i go to sleep when i wake up
not matter what time it is, my back always hurts
a lot and when i breathe in deeply my back hurts.
what could be wrong with my back ?

broken finger?

ok, so i was playing foot ball with my brothers right, and i wasnt looking and my brother was like hey, catch this! and he rifled it at my hands, and i missed and the ball hit my left ring finger, and i heard an odd cracking sound not like popping or cracking a knuckle but like if you break a piece of wood.,
i cant bend it, i can bend it a little but it stops on its onw, and when i try to make a fist, it curls under my other finger..and it hurts. its not too swollen or bruised at all but it hurts like a bizzle!!!
is it a break??

wisdom teeth

so on thursday i get all 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out and im really nervous thats its going to be very painful after i get them out because during it wont hurt because im getting IV sedated. Any tips to make it not hurt so bad besides taking the pain medicine?

Ok. So I am curious to know if there is a way to shave without getting all the little red bumps and redness on the legs and vaginal area. Also, is there a way to slow leg hair growth or to keep legs smooth for more than one day at a time? I rate high for good answers!

Hi, i am 17 going on 18 and i had a baby in march 2008 and i need help on getting rid of stretch marks on my stomic i used that mederma cream for stretch marks it worked a little but i can still see them i want to get rid of them before this summer i really want to wear a bathing suit this summer to go swimming i havent went swimming in public sense before i had my baby and it really sucks somebody out there please help. thanks

ok, so you guys might have noticed a lot of questions about tongue piercings on here...and 98% of them were from me.
well, i finally convinced my parents to let me do it! im getting it done this weekend.
BUT there is one catch. i have to pay for it, and i also have to pay for any damage the piercing will do to my teeth O.O
soooo...here are my questions: (bear with me)
A) what could happen to my teeth?
B) how much would it cost to pay for the damages?
C) how would a minor, like myself, pay for this?
D) is there anything i could do to prevent this from happening?
E) when will i be aloud to use restoring mouthwash if i get my tonuge pierced?

Pulled off skin :(

So, today I did a bit of eyebrow waxing and just above my eyelids, on both sides it pulled off skin. This has never happened to me before and it looks horrible.
How can I make this heal as fast as possible and also how can I prevent this happening in the future? At the moment I just put some Aloe Vera on it...but yeah, any suggestions? I'm desperate!

wrists hurting after tumbling

okay so i do gymnastics every wensday thursday and friday. the class on wensday and friday is a half hour and thursday is an hour. i do roundoff back handsprings. everytime i leave my wrists really hurt like 81/2 9 on pain. i cant even move them and i cant open doors. she does wrap my wrists when i am at the gym. and when i came home the other day i put ice on it but it didnt help. i put ace bandages on it and after a little bit they started to help. im 16 by the way and i am driving with a permit. so when my wrists hurt i drive and they feel better. should i buy some sort of wrist suppporters for when i tumble? oh i switched my wensday class to monday. any advice? Constant stomach pain

I am 23 F. I have been having weird stomach pain for a year now. I have tested my diet, but I still seem to get very nausiated even if I eat a piece of fruit. Anything I eat or drink will cause me to vomit or have severe pain like I just got kicked in my stomach. I have lost alot of weight very quickly, and I faint because of loss of nutreints from not eating. I have been rushed to the hospital many times, but they refuse to help me because I have no insurence. I cant work because I cant even stand up straight. I cant get medicaid or ssi because they said Im not blind, so Im not disabled. I am at my end, and I just want to give up. I am basically dieing by starvation and dehidration. Does anyone know what I can do?

Anti scarring treatments

Im using an anti-scaring gel called 'Dermatix' for scars i have on my arms.
I've been using it for weeks but I havent had any results, the scars arent really fading at all.
Has anyone used any anti scaring products that they have had success with?

how to relieve pain of Tooth abscess??

Okay, so someone i know has an Tooth abscess/ wisdom tooth and it hurts like hell. he's had it for like 1 month now and painkillers just arent working well. He was told that he now has to wait another 12 months to get it fixed, due to some waiting list(which is stupidddd). Is there ANY way he can get rid of the pain? Im worried he's going to end up overdosing, and the doctors/hospital said theres nothin they can do for 12 months, except give him painkillers. Any suggestions??

broken ribs

ok, so a little over 2 years ago I broke my ribs playing soccer (catching a shot that someone took [im a keeper]). I never went to the doctors or anything, and just let them heal over time.
So now my problem is that that I am really sensetive around the area where my ribs were broken [like if the get hit or something]. Also when I run, enough so that Im starting to get out of breath my ribs really start to hurt again.
Is this normal? and Is there anything that I can do that will help make this pain go away?

at dance i landed a jump straight legged and my knee popped. the rest of the dance it was numb and i couldnt put too much pressure on it. i have to limp. it was like jello. it still is.
it feels like it needs to pop.
its my left knee and i CANT straighten it and i'm in pain when i bend it all the way.
its no swollen and its not exactly my knee cap its to the left and kind of behind my knee.
it feels like a bone is going in and out when i do certain stuff.
i couldnt dance my last dance.
i have dance practice monday and wed. and i have a tennis tournament tuesday. and i HAVE to dance saturday.
will i be able to do that?

surgery?!

at a dance competition i did a jump and i landed with my leg locked and my knee popped.
i HAD to finish the dance and my knee was numb but was in pain at some moments my leg kept on giving out on my and felt like jello when i didnt certain things. i couldnt turn with falling and i couldnt do a back bend (bridge)
i had one more dance to do after that and i refused to sit out when we were practicing it felt like it kept on going in and out of socket and i just randomly would fall to the ground. so i ended up sitting out.
it hurts when i bend it all the way and i CANT straighten it. it doesnt hurt when i put too much pressure on it and i cant walk without limping. i'm afraid to walk on it normal.
it feels like it...
