Mosquito bite?

I noticed this morning that I had a big red and hard lump on the side of my leg. It's kind of itchy, but nothing that bothers me. I was just unsure about what it was that obviously bit me. I've always been extremely prone to getting mosquito bites- that's just me. But this is the biggest one I've ever had. Could it be anything else?

What do you do if you think you have appendicitis?
I think I have appendicitis. I always feel sharp pains in my stomach and shoulder. It hurts really bad. I went to the doctor and she said it might be appendicitis. They gave me some nexium pills but sometimes they don't work. I feel sharp pains in my stomach side and my shoulder. It hurts really bad.What do I do?

Really bad headaches every single day! Help!

hi, lately i have been having alot of really bad headaches and takin alot of pain relievers. what could this mean by me having to many headaches, sometimes i get one twice a day but i usually have one everyday and they are really bad. also how can i prevent or relieve them with out taking any medicine. any advice would help. female/ 17

blood in the stool

i have just recently noticed a small drop of blood in my stool. it has been like three or four times since the first time i've seen it. i thought it would just go away, but it had been quite persistent. the stool is quite big though and the blood is in the middle of it. what does it mean? is it fatal?

Feeling sick on Antibiotics

About 2 weeks ago, I had surgery on my bum. It's all stitched up and I'm on antibiotics.
My mom however, was sick with a virus or something like a cold a couple days ago.
I was fine this morning but like all of a sudden I feel nauseus. I made some toast which always helps when my stomach is upset. But I can't eat it. I feel like if I eat it, I'll get sick.
I started thinking, wait I'm on Cipro antibiotics so technically I shouldn't really be sick. I've been on Cipro before and never had a problem. I already have an appointment to get my stitches out on Tuesday.
Could it be I caught the cold or whatever my mom had or could it be the anitbiotics making me sick? I'm puzzled, if I s...

Will my boobs shrink if I lose weight?

So, I'm 15, 5"4 and 140lbs.
I'm not really fat, but I'm definitely a little chubby. I want to work out, but I don't want my boobs to get smaller. I'm a 34C. If I work out and lose weight, are they going to get smaller?

Hey I am a 8th grader and when I was born my weight was 2 lbs. 8oz and I was 15 in. long. Because I was so little and was premature I had to take steroids. In 6 th grade I played basket ball and when I was going for tryouts I went to do a layup which I made and on my way comming down my ankle twisted and my knee popped that was the 1st time that happened to me and it hurted like hell. September 21 ,2010 ii had surgery on my left knee because it kept popping and I could take the pain anymore. Starting in february my right knee and ankles hurt and fall out of it's socket and my ligaments are so thin they could pop any second now which I KNOW will hurt. Hi I've been riding my bike a lot more often than usual and kinda suddenly,(it's pollen/allergy season) and lately I've been noticing my right eye is ITCHYYYY!!!!! I only noticed today that the lower eyelid is a bit swollen and the sclera is a very light shade of pink. Does this sound like pinkeye? From what I read online I think it is the not-infectious kind but I need an opinion I know is from a person. Thank you

Hi, I was diagnosed with chlamydia last month. I was prescribed levaquin once a day for ten days but that's about as much instruction that I received. My boyfriend also was prescribed something,but it was a different prescription that he took once a day for seven days. Its been fourteen days since my last dose, so I think i'm good to go. Wednesday (may 18) was my boyfriend's last dose.
My question is when is it safe for us to have unprotected sex? I'm on birth control and everything, but I don't want us to get reinfected.
I've looked online and several places have said that you should wait seven days, but everywhere i've looked the people just took like one dose for one day, so I don't know if it 'counts' the same no matter how many days you have to take it.

Two days ago I had a sore throat and I thought that maybe I was getting a cold. The following day, I woke up and I was sneezing had a runny nose, and felt like my head was in a cloud. I am not coughing at all, but my ears hurt and my head hurts too. I've never had allergies before, but when I looked up my symptoms, it seemed to match up with the symptoms of hayfever. Do I have allergies? If so, should I go see a doctor? I took Zyrtec last night but it didn't help whatsoever. I feel terrible :-\ Help!

Earlier in the month I started to have my period, but it stopped/slowed down sooner than normal. Soon after I discovered that I could only pee a little at a time, after the small amount it hurt slightly but I felt like I really had to go. I'm going to tell my parents of course, but does anyone know what it might be? Thank you

I had a uti last weekend and I had a high fever Sunday and Monday. Monday I went to the dr's and the dr said that i had a sinus infection on top of it. she told me that my uti medication will take care of all infection. So i kept taking my uti medicine, it worked for my uti but not my sinus infection. i woke up wednesday morning with big puffy eyes. my mom thought it was an allergic reaction to my medicine, so we swicthed to augmentum ( real sinus antibiotic). nothing has gone away and it is now tuesday. almost a week later. my forehead is sore and my eyes are constantly swollen. is this a bad sign? how do i get rid of it? m parents are convinced that its allergies but i am 16 years old and i've lived through 16 allergy season's and ...
