my friend and i have been best friends for ever,but shes gettting on my nerves. she is so annoying all she does is talk about guys. theres even a i hate:blank club all my other friends hate her what do i do i dont want to hurt her and i dont wanna gove up are relationship tottaly i just want space...kinda for awhile ???

17/f. I'm an only child, and I don't have very many friends. I really have nothing to do....and I'm very, very bored. During the school year, I find my way around things to do, because I find out about parties, and then I go, and even if I don't have any friends, I still manage to talk to someone, or find a guy to dance with. So, it works out. It's summer, and I really don't find anything to do. I feel so alone. I know it seems like I'm exaggerating, but, maybe those of you who are an only child can sympathize with what I'm saying.

i have a best friend. we've been best friends for almost seven years now. we've been very close, although we have had our ups and downs.
in summary, i am very jealous of her. she has caused me much stress and tears this past year because she was in all my classes, and she would get straight As on everything. i tried so hard in school and i could never beat her, and i cried so so much. not only did i cry because she was smarter than me, but she has a boyfriend and she is much more talented than i am.
i have never had a real boyfriend and i haven't even gotten my first kiss yet. we're both 15f. she got her first kiss last summer and i got upset for a while but then i got over it. and she got her boyfriend ...

Okay i am going into high school next year and my friends are starting to drink and smoke. i cont want to but i know i will not be invited anywhere if i don't. i know this seems like simple, say no, but the only way to keep my friends is to drink or lose them. i know it seems like these friends suck, and they do but i cant change groups. like idk, but idk i don't want to. i just don't want to sink to that level. if you are a teen, you know what this is. you cant just be like "no I'm not drinking" I'm only 13. I'm turning 14 soon but...what do i do?

Im 15 years old and so is my best friend. She is a grade older then me and her sweet 16 is coming up mid November. She doesn't liek her birthday date because it is in the middle of winter so it's hard to find thigns to do. I want to do something really special for her birthday, as well as her party and I was thinking to maybe bring her to a spa or something. I was wonderring how much do spa treatments usually cost, as well as how much the average manicure/pedicure costs?
We were thinking about renting a rec center or small building to have a dance or something and have it in the spring (my 16th is in the spring) and jsut combine the two birthdays. Do you think this would be a good idea?

Okay so I've known this guy for mostly all my life around 13 years. Well within the past year we became really close, like bestfriends. People thought we were dating because we were always together and the way we acted around each other. Well here's where it kind of gets tough. I need some help in trying to gain back a friend. Our history is pretty, well very, complicated.
About 2 years ago we dated, only for 3 weeks but still. Then we broke up and he promised that we'd "still be friends". Except, much to my dismay, he actually meant it. And our friendship grew from there. We became even closer. Then he sorta started ignoring me for no reason. Then that stopped and we talked again. Then we made a mistake....we hooked up. Im fifteen, female, sophomore this fall.
This boy is moving in less than a month and we've only just expressed our feelings for one another. There's an extremely long story from long ago that's not worth writing, but I still don't think he was really that sincere.

I feel stupid. All the time. Embarrassed, unworthy. You name it. I have such low self esteem. And all my friends are just so perfect. They have perfect hair, perfect bodies, perfect social life, perfect boyfriends. In fact, I don't even know why they are friends with me at all. And I'm not jealous of them. So my mother, older sister, and my younger sister went to petco to get my younger sister her first animal. I have a 12 year old cat named Lily and i love her to death. She loves me too, im like her true love or something. And so I saw this adorable greyish, blueish kitten in a cage! He is very cute and very friendly. My mommy let me hold him and asked which one i liked and all that other stuff. Sooooo then we left and my mom said she would have to talk to my dad [he does not care for animals but he can deal with him, he also does not like change]. so me and my best friend have been best friends for almost two years. recently she's starting to diss me in front of people but act all nice to me when no one is around. so today we were talking about first impressions. And she was just saying to me how her facial expressions may seem rude but she's a nice person. She wanted me to agree with her but i didn't fully agree with her though. so i just nodded my head and stayed silent. so then she goes " Well if i'm not nice you're not either!!" do you think that's rude?! would you think a person is nice if they act rude around people but nice to you when no one is around? what should i do about her?! how should i tell her that she needs to stop?!

I'm 18/f and my best friend is 16/f. She is a very pretty girl. Perfect weight, shape for her age. But like every other girl in America she constantly sees the ads in magazines and on TV that say we have to be 'better', 'thinner' 'sexier'. I never thought she was into that garbage. But lately she's constantly rambling about how the models and the stars diet and work-out to have the perfect body, and I'm starting to worry about her. I've given her the "You don't have to look like that to be perfect" speech, but she just gets angry and stars listing off the things that are "wrong" with her own body (flabby thighs, un-sculpted abs etc.)
What can I tell her to snap her out of this?

Im 16 straight and I have a problem with my best friend.
She is a little older than me. She is like my sister and I her brother. but what I need help with,is that she loves me more than that, she wants the relationship to go further. Im ready for that yet and I don't feel the same towards her.
I've never had a girl friend before and she has been with guys that have tried to have sex with her or have sexually harassed her. She says that Im the her knight in shining armor.

ok so my best friends and i have been together since the 5th grade. but one time i made a mistake and sent a kinda rude e-mail to them. i apologized and we were friends again. but then they acted like they didn't want to be friends with me anymore. so i sent another e-mail asking what was going on and why they were leaving me out. my one friend responded, yelling at me, she told me that it was my fault and im becoming distant and im being moody. she didn't understand that im busy and im growing up as well. soo today i figured out that all three of them, got together and hung out behind my back and once again, she acted as if it was my fault. i don't know what to do? im not becoming distant or moody! im a woman, and im growing up. ...

ok i am gettin EXTREMELY annoyed with my freinds freinds putting me down all the time, since i have started working with them all in a shop all they'v proceeded to do is demise my intelligence and throw ideas at me like "well if he did that it would destroy the county" and other stupid things liek that, it normally doesnt annoy me but i dont see any of us leaving any time soon so i need a way around it. the key points of them i want to block out is thier annoying *omfg your such an idiot* attitude towards me because i dont see them doing it to any of their other freinds. i may not be the most skilled to apply to thier oh so high list of needs but they dont see what psycological hate i am growing for them. any advice on these pathe...
