my parents

I am a little concerned about my parents. It seems that most of the romance in their relationship is gone, and I have a feeling that this might lead to something unpleasant in the future.
Some things just plain bother me: I have never in my life seen them kiss. I only saw them hug 5-6 times in my 16 year old life. Mind you, my parents aren't very romantic people, and I don't think they never do cute couple things because they are too conservative to show off their affection in public. Some of my friends at first thought that my parents are divorced. I mean if we go somewhere, my dad always walks next to my brother, and my mom next to me. I miss my cousins, aunt, and uncle

So I have an aunt, an uncle, and three cousins that moved out of state. It broke my heart when I first heard they were leaving, and I only get to see them once a year. I was so close to all of them, especially one cousin in particular. Let's call him A.
A and I have been like best friends ever since we met. We were close about everything, and had the kind of relationship where you could talk about everything together because we weren't afraid to. We trusted each other & have only fought ONCE! We have an incredible bond like no one else... nobody can ever break that bond.

Trouble with my sister

Ok well in my family to everyone it should be that the oldest sibling should be smarter then the younger one but the younger one should be better looking then the older one since they have mroe youth.
If it's reversed or something is messed up with that, it's sad, embarrassasing, or like a 'hah you suck' feeling.
Well after being depresed and out of therapy I've finally kinda worked a little bit with my looks and now everytime we have to go visit my relatives (which is once a week), the first thing they say to my little sister is HAH YOUR SISTER IS PRETTIER THEN YOU LOL YOU'RE UGLY!
which really upsets her and every time they do it I can see that she's really hurt and is about to cry.

okay well him and his parents (mom and dad) are going to ocean city the 15th-22nd and they invited me. they're paying for everything. the thing is my dad said it was okay, but mom didn't. i need sooo much help to convince her it's okay. i wrote her a letter stating we wouldn't be sleeping together/all the requirements! i need so much help please. i want to go so unbeliveably badly.
any advice?!

How do i get my daughter from taking advantage of us?

my daughter married into a family that has babyed her from day one. she now has 3 children. she and kids live with inlaws. only time we hear from my daughter is when she wants something. the inlaws babysat these kids since they were born. now they are feeling like they are being taken advantage of. the mother inlaw and sister inlaw are giving my husband and i a hard time. they want us to babysit more. mind you we love the children but mother in law and sister inlaw do not have jobs. my husband and i have full time jobs 40+ hours a week. they want us to quit our jobs to babysit. we can't do that. we sometimes work weekends too.
they call us bad grandparents because we don't baby sit. when my children were growing up i didn't dare ask ...

GRANDPARENT RIGHTS ?

i have been living with my grandparents for almost a year now. and my mother has not sent me any money to help me living such as, food, clothing, etc. my grandmother was thinking about grandparents rights. and i was wanting to know what are the postive and negative outlooks along with this ? how does this work ? and how do you get them ?

report card blues.

i had a really bad day yesterday. and in addition to that, i got my report card back.. and most of my grades were C's. i cannot believe this. i got honor roll for the first 2 marking periods (im 13/f going to 8th grade next school year) but the next one slowly i got some C's and now like my whole thing has C's! my parents will never trust me again! all the years before 7th, i'd always get straight A's with a few B's. but my grades are slipping now...? my dad saw my grades and he was dissapointed and i havent shown my mom yet but i know she'll be even more dissapointed in me! and i feel horrible now because i think i've let my teachers and family down! because they saw potential in me.. but i got stupid C's! i even got a B in home ec! i gues...

13/f, i am the youngest of quite a large family. 8 children to be exact, and some of you know how terrible it is to be the youngest. As you know im 13 and i have 5 older sisters, and 2 older brothers. The sister right infront of me is 14, we were bestfriends when we were little. Now she is the most meanest person in the whole intire family, everyone is mean to me, always against me, telling me how stupid i am and immature. In the family everyone has there friends, my first 3 sisters are like best friends and my 2 brothers are bestfriends, and my two other sisters are best friends. Now im on my own, all i have is myself :[ i feel so terrible and unwanted. even my mom gives everyone else more attention and money and time.

co-ed trip with friends

ok a big group of my friends are going down to the beach (only like an hour away from my house) to stay at my friends beach house. The group would inlude both boys and girls but there wouldnt be any sexual activities because we are just all good friends and my friends parents would be there anyways. The only problem is that my parents aren't quite sure if they will allow me to go since it is co-ed. If anyone has some advice on what I can tell them to make it more convincing that would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

my mom has been drinking.....

Hey. So for a while now my mom has been drinking alcohol a lot. She has been moody and when she dinks you can tell. She gets all fazed and dosen't understand or react well to things that you say or ask. She knows it is a problem and went to meetings for it but that she just stopped. She hasn't been going. When I was little she was never like this. She rarely ever drank. Now with stress from work and my sister and I she just changed. My sister and I did softball and she came to about 1 to 3 of the games, and made my dad go to the rest or dhe would have another person drive us home. She hasn't been involved in anything that my sister or I do, and now she is even working on my sisters birthday and won't be home all day even though she has that...

ughh i want to get my nose pierced sooo bad. ill be 17 in like 2 months and i wanna get it done for my birthday, but my mom is sooo against the idea. i told her i just want a tiny little pink stud. she just thinks its horrible. its just nose its not like i want a tongue piercing or anything! how can i convince her? thanks!!

So my brother was never really a great student. He finished his first year of college with mostly 2.0's. My dad was furious because my brother lied and said he got 3.0 average , thinking my parents wouldn't ask to see the online report card. Well they found out about the 2.0's, and my mom was calm and talked to him, whereas my dad really gave it to him. He said horrible things such as, "You know what?! I'm not sending you back next year! I'm busting my ass paying thousands of dollars and you think it's a game? No, just don't go to the stupid college and sit here for the rest of your life." my mom makes me crazy!!! we used to be bestfriends and now we fight over everything! she screamed at me for about 45 min today cause i took a shower in her bathroom and she always tells me to get out of her face and stuff. and she loves my bf more than me. she sides with him on everything.
my dad is just a jerk. he works so much hes barely home but he always yells at me when he is. he tells me im stupid and worthless... im an only child so it doesnt help. concrete angel by martina mcbride is my theme song.

oh my god. i'm gonna freak. you see, my cousin kristina from slovenia is coming to america for the first time on july 11. i was cool with it, but she's staying for an entire month. >:o

im tired of being at home. its so boring and its summer break! my mom wont let me out of the house if i decide i want to go with my friends she will only let me go oncew or twice a week the rest i stay here at home bored to death. my cable doesnt work so i cant watch tv. i get so mad because she barely lets me go out. i tell her to please let me go out because its summer break and she says no that i cant be out so muhc. but im 15 turning 16 in a few days!! im not a baby and i keep telling her that. ugh what should i do? comments? advcie? anything is helpful, thanks!

Okay so my parents divorce is finially ending second week of July. I've never been so happy (its been going on for two years in August). I live with my dad right now but I really want to live with my mom when the divorce thing is set. I get along way better with her and she understands me more than my dad ever has. the only thing my dad is good for is him telling me what to do and getting stuff (like food, cds, etc).
The only problem with this is that my dad doesn't think my mom is a good mother. But thats kind of bull too because she has been there through everything then last year i cut myself and they all thought it was because of her, but it had nothing to do with that.
Anyways.. I think that I will be happier living ther...
