What is the cure for the common cold?

I have a really bad cold with a sore throat and nasal congestion. At first it was just a runny nose but now it's two days later and there are more symptoms. I am trying to avoid taking medications (unless, of course, I see a doctor and they are prescribed). I asked my neighbors if they knew any cures for a cold but they were clueless.
Could anyone supply with me common cold home remedies? Any home remedies for the common cold would be great! I need something that will help me get rid of my cold without medication.

well i started my period about 3 months ago, the only problem is i only had one period. so im 3 months in and ive missed 2 periods. I still get discharge and all that and it doesnt smell. is this bad??

saturday night i messed around with a few guys at a party while i was drunk. i made out with 3, like pretty hardcore, cuz when im drunk get really aggressive haha. then there was one guy who i gave a hand job to and he fingered me, and i think i started to give him a bj, but then decided not to. but even if i did, i know i didnt swallow anything. but i really am thinking i didnt at all..haha.
anyways, now my throat is hurting really bad and is dry and hurts to swallow, and i've been having a pretty bad headache and im a little hot. could this possibly be mono? or just a simple cold i caught from one of the guys? its also possible its just a little bug, since some of my friends are feeling sick too..but idk. thanks =]

Okay so this is totally random I guess you could say but my elbo's are rough, and dry and scaley like. They're white and I can't stand it it's like sand paper. What do i do?
I have tried babyoil and lotion and that just makes them reder.

bad skin

ok so i have pretty bad skin. quite a few spots and some old scars from spots. im pretty sure its not acne though. i hate covering it with make up cos i want to be able to feel comfortable going to school not wearing any.
is there any good creams, facewash or cures that actually work. cos ive tried sooo many.
also it has to be sold in the UK and be fairly cheap. i am a student.

pills to get rid of acne?

ok, my face isn't exactly in need of medication, but I do get occasional breakouts usually under the skin so they just make my face look rough. The only reason I want medication is because it is VERY hard for me to get into a habit, no matter how lazy that sounds. I could never be able to wash my face every single morning and night. It might sound weird, but it's true and hard to explain. So, are there any type of pills, preferably non prescription, that clear up your face and make it look healthy? I would be able to take the pills regularely because I already have to take adderal every morning :) Thanks!

drug problem?

A lot of people think I have a drug problem. I know I don't. I am 16 and I am unsure how to get everyone off of my back about this subject.
I freaked out on a kid at school because he told me that, he called me a loser and said that I would never amount to anything and all of this bull shit. I used to be pretty cool with this kid. And it came out of nowhere. Its not even like he was being "concerned" he was being a dick. So I called him a few names and smacked him.
But this was only one of about four or five people that has said this to me.
what should I do to get them all of my case?

Okay so I tried shaving 'down there' just like around the edges, bikini area, I guess... but now it's SOO ITCHY and red and uncomfortable and I don't like it!!
But I get soo selfconscious about down there. And I don't know what to do about it :[

so i have nice straight teeth. had braces for three years. i've used crest white strips, target brand whitening trays, use the crest white mouth wash, don't really drink alot of pop if i EVER DO it's like mountain dew but my teeth are just not that white still. i hate spending all this money, for something that i feel is not even working. there is no possible way i have the money to get it profesionally done but i see people who have the whitest teeth ever and i just wonder what they do. if any of you guys found something that works, let me know. anything will help [:

My best friend smokes cigarettes a lot and is trying very hard to quit. She says that the nicotine addiction is so strong that she even begins to shake after a few hours of not having a smoke!
She has tried to cut down on smoking cigarettes ever since her uncle was diagnosed with lung cancer. The doctors told her uncle that if he hadn't smoked cigarettes then his chances of having lung cancer would have been a lot smaller. My best friend was very scared when she heard this and decided she wants to quit smoking--which is best, we both agree.
Now, before she goes out and spends money on things to help her quit smoking, she needs to know what REALLY works. There are things (from Nicorette and other companies, ...

spotting

ok, so I had sex at the beginning of the month, on both the fourth and eleventh of October. About two weeks from the first time I had some spotting, it lasted for a few days but was fairly light. I know some women can have implantation bleeding so I got pretty nervous. But yesterday was the day that I'm supposed to get my period and I had bleeding, but not as much as I normally would. It's more than the spotting in the middle of the month, so I don't know what to think.
I've been pretty stressed lately and have made some diet changes, so maybe that could be affecting my period? What do you guys think?
I'm not on birthcontrol and sex was mainly protected ( the first time he didn't use a condom for the beginning...

Okay.. For along time now I always seem to talk to my self, not in public but inside. well thing is that I seem to act like I am talking somone I know and no i don't hear anybody talk about. I talk back for them and thing is. i know I shouldn't do stuff like that. and I seem to but try to stop but I think to much and I don't think bad thoughts ok maybe little sometimes. I can't seem to stop talking to my self and let it run. I try you know listen music play video games and watch tv but i seem do it same time everything I do. i mean i try to just sit and not have no thoughts so ever. I just thought maybe anybody give me GOOD reason stop talking to my self and way I think and maybe way I pretend people saying this and that. I know one reason ...

So this isny my first cavity...but when ever i did it would be so small that i just needed gas for it...but i found out during the summer that i have a cavity thats kind of big to wear ill need to get a shot. he said its not that big but it can get bigger over the time and stuff. So i was wondering if shot for cavities hurt?
