virus

I have a toshiba satellite laptop computer.It got a virus in it a long time ago and it kept getting worse and worse.Then i went to use it,it wouldnt work.It has windows xp home edition.The computer turns on,and the screen comes up ( it always came up its a password you have to put in to turn the computer on.i guess thats the best way to explain it.) then the ap home edition loading page comes up and it takes a long time (never took this long..took like 10 seconds before now about 5 minutes.)next a box comes up it says log onto windows. user name and password (like if you were on a company network.) it never had that before..before all the user names would come up and you click on the one you want and put a password in.when you put the name ...

DVD Player Download

Okay, so I have a Windows XP Laptop [if that helps]. I wanted to play a DVD on my cpu but it wouldn't let me because it was unable to read DVD stuff or something like that. So I was wondering if anyone knew what sites gives you link/allows you to download a FREE DVD player thinger thing to your cpu. It would be better if you have it yourself...thanks very much =)

CPU change

Well for a week now before I log into the computer, I always have to press F1 because it says something like WARNING! CPU change! please change and save before you shut the computer or quit!
I have no idea what it means! Please help

cell phone problems

i have an audiovox 6700.
whenever i turn my phone on, it says "unidentified USB device: Enter the name of the device driver for this device. For information, see the device manufacturer's documentation."
does anyone have any idea what to do?? I can't send text messages or get calls or anything. thanks in advance

i donwloaded sum song from sonicestage because i could get some free downloads(legal)
i mainly use itunes so i thought i could just convert this file
but i cannot find an online based converter that supports atrac the original files format
i used a program called swich but it only played a min of the song
i dont want to download anything they get my computer clustered so can you please show me a list of sites i can use that will support atrac format to m4a or w.e the ipod format is

Microsoft Powerpoint

Is there anyway possible I can download Microsoft Powerpoint or buy it for less money? I definately can't afford to spend over $100 on it. Any ideas or any websites? I did look at the free trial for 60 days and it won't let me download it because I don't have an account with them or something. Thanks!!

okay i want to make a weight loss tracker & the only reason i'm doing it on excel is so i can make a graph of it.
omg someone has to help me.. cause in A1 i put "date" & it says and in B1 i put "weight" & it's all good. but when i start going downwards towards A2 to actually put "april 7" it gets like.. put into a decimal form & gets messed up. & when i put my weight on it messes up the date.
can i change the settings or something? PLEASE HELP!

broken computer screen

Ok well I was just playing on the computer when all of a sudden my computer screen shut off.
I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't work. I sticked all the plugs on, turned on the cmputer, and it still didn't work.
Is it possible that it's like a light bulb where it can burn out?
right now i'm using my brother's computer screen. We tried to plug my computer screen on his computer but it didn't even work. Advice?

myy computer has been messed.
&& myy speakers don`t work it says i need to upgrade or something or my javascript is off && it says that everytime i go on a myspace page.
how to i fix this.?
can i turn whatever javascript back on??
&& i have to somehow fix it cuz this stupid thingyy keeps poppin up sayin it could read it or something.
