Is MY BFF Trying To Out Do Me?

I have this bestfriend that i have been friends since forever, we're both 19 years old and i feel like she tries to out do me in everything.. ill give you a couple of examples.
1- i would always say im poppin', im that bit*h, i like to look good everywhere (she'd never say any of those things) and now shell try to find ANY WAY to say that shes poppin, shes that bit*h, and that she has to look good everywhere (before she didnt care about her appearance all the time).
2- id say something is cute and she'll buy it when i cant.
3- i'd wear an outfit and in a matter of weeks, she'll wear a similar outfit than what i had (but ofcourse it wouldnt look as good, not to sound cocky).

Hi I'm a bisexual 15 year old female, and for the longest time I've been attracted to another female friend of mine. I've tried to explain to her but that went wrong in ways you don't even want to know, so I was thinking about getting together a bunch of her favorite snacks for valentines day but I need to know if that sounds to forward. I guess I should also explain that said girl also has this thing about also dating girls from Canada and also has a strong belief that she is fat. (Just in case that helps)

Having Unknown Anger Towards My Dad..

I'm a female I'm 16 years old. I've usually gotten along with my mom 10x better. I haven't had a bad relationship with my dad it's just he always works so we don't get to connect on a daily basis as my mom and I. Both my parents live together and I can't complain much about my lifestyle. When my sister was pregnant she had problems with her high blood pressure then in her final weeks had an infection so they made her stay in the hospital and I understand why my parents favored her during that time because she needed it. Met a guy in tinder around September hung out with him twice and slept with him both times. Just moved to the area we were both getting out of serious relationships and both didn't want anything serious....he told me he didn't want to cross lines anymore and just be friends. I have feelings for this guy but am accepting all he wants to be his friends. Saw him last night and hung out strictly as friends and before I left he gave me a side hug and kissed my head....what does this mean??? Am I over thinking it....

picking scabs

Whenever I am reading in bed, I hold my book with one hand, and my other hand goes looking for scabs to pick. I used to pick at breakouts on my face, but I forced myself to stop because my face was always covered in scabs. However, I now find scabs to pick elsewhere, particularly on my back. I have about 10-20 small scabs on my back that I pick open every night. Even if some of them heal occasionally, I find any little bump on my back and pick it until it bleeds.
I know this is bad for me, but how do I make myself stop? I've tried a number of methods to just keep my free hand still, but as I read, my attention drifts and before I know it there is a sting and I have picked open a scab again. What can I do to stop hurting myself like this?

I always hang around with the same group of people. But there's this girl who began hanging around with us recently and we don't get along. I get along great with most of the group except her and she gets along great with most of the group except me. She always insults me but never insults the rest of the group. I don't want to lose friends. How do I tell my friends that I find her annoying?

I am madly in love with my best friend, we've known each other for almost 5 years now and I've lately been growing stronger feelings for her, but the thing is, she only sees me as a brother, and her boyfriend has been nothing but good to me. He's been helping me get out of my depression as well as helping me find a job (since I've been jobless for almost three years now). She and I live together which makes everything even harder for me. I've been hanging out with this group of people for a while and they're fun to be with but one girl fell out with her previous group of friends, and joined this group of friends but we don't really get along? But the rest of the group are fine with her and she's fine with them, it's just me she doesn't get along with? I used to think she was nice before she began hanging out with this group of friends?

Nervousness After Getting Sick

I'm 21, female and my boyfriend is 24. We've been together for almost a year and are sexually active. He always uses a condom and I'm on birth control.

HIV from nail salon?

I got my nails done today and when they were sanding my nails (using the rotating tool, it's called a dremel I believe) they scratched me on my cuticle. I wasn't actively bleeding but the area is tender and red now. I don't think they cleaned the dremel, honestly, and now I'm terrified of contracting some kind of illness.
Can HIV be transmitted this way if an infected person's blood was on the tool?

This might sound a little stupid to some people, but to me it feels like the end of the world. My teacher had to take a phone call at the beginning of class, we also had a test that day. I guess I got so into my book I read right through the test and didn't even answer a single question, heck I didn't even get a paper! I heard the Bell ring and realized I didn't even get a test. I just walked out of the room like an idiot before he saw me. Now he's going to find out that I read right through a test and get really mad. I honestly don't know what to to and don't even want to go back to school tomorrow!

Hello everyone! I'm a sophomore in high school and my boyfriend is a senior. We have been dating for almost 6 months. We've talked about it a few times, but my boyfriend said he wants to go into the Air Force and it scares me because I don't know what to expect (I honestly don't want him joining because he'll be so far from his friends and I , but you know, I can't control that)... If he joins I want him and i's relationship to work if he does join. He graduates in May and I'm going to be a junior in high school next year. I love this boy with my heart and he means a lot to me. What does he mean when he says, are you jealous in a joking way ? We've been friends for a year and work in same place. We're both flirty. He's also asks when can we go out again but when we do, we always go out with both of our friends. He also says, I want all the women to love me jokingly, I said, I don't, what? Do you want me to, he said of course and we both just smiled. We do flirt and tease. What should I be expecting from his behaviour? I'm in 7th grade and my parents watch the news a lot. It's always bad news. I live in America, we have a shooting every other day. The scariness started in 2014, with the ebola virus and isis starting up. I believe it was 2015 when isis chopped the reporters heads off. And throughout the year they were threatening to bomb places near me and hack soldier's twitter accounts and they attacked Paris, and San Bernardino. Then we hear very horrible stuff about how they are treating refugees and Republicans running around trying to make America into a Christian theocracy. My mom is an alcoholic and now I'm 21

My mom was an active alcoholic for years and it ruined a lot of my childhood - especially high school. It was hard to watch and difficult to deal with an addict. The good news is, she's been sober for 4 years.
I'm really proud of her and am so happy, but now I'm 21. I want to have a drink now and then or just have some alcoholic beverage laying around for if I feel like drinking, but I'm so terrified to keep alcohol in the house.
How do I continue the occasional drink at 21 without making her feel bad or go down the wrong path again?

Don't Know How to Feel About What My Mom Said

Let me start by saying that I didn't mean for this to be so long, but I think it's important for you to know all of the details. Last Tuesday, my mom and I went out to dinner and I don't remember how, but she got on the subject of the four days of her life that she wished she had to do over. The day I was born was on the list, although not for the reason I probably made it sound like.
I was my parents' second child and my sister was like ten days late. She was supposed to come on new years eve and when she still wasn't born, my mom had to check into a hospital and have a C-section the next day. My mom never went into labor with her.
