my best friend moved away

well my best friend sara moveda way this summer and it feels really weird not having someone to tlak to and hang out with 24-7 i really miss herr i cry every night wishing she still lived by me and well she now lives like 15 hours away and it's really hard

Ok, well i have to go to a meeting at my school tomorrow and i didn't have a ride but now one of my friends is going to take me. She is a year older than me and she is really nice. The only thing is is that i am not fully comfortable around her because i mean she is my friend but i don't know her well enough to just call her every day. I am going to be really nervous when she comes to pick me up. I mean, she is really nice and friendly and we hung out in classes together before but i just don't feel like i could tell her everything. What should i do when she picks me up? Also, when she said she was going to pick me up, does that usually mean she is going to take me home to? How can i find out if she is taking me home without being so blunt? Thanks!

How do I get over losing my best friend?

This is the day after a disastrous holiday with her and we have come to a mutual decision that we don't want to see each other anymore. We always had a difficult relationship due to her ferocious temper and mood swings and my inability to deal with them. While I did love her I always ended up feeling inadequate around her, because according to her, I seemed to get so many things wrong. This came to a head during this holiday, which we went on after I had been away at uni for a year. I was apprehensive about spending a whole week in her company but went really to keep her happy. Right, so..
I have a friend, lets call her... Sam.
She was inviting people to go and stay at a theme park for a few days. She invited nearly all of her friends, but left me out. I can't just ask if I can go, because I dont want to sound cheeky. But, I don't mean this to sound selfish. If I had gone to a theme park or somewhere to stay, I would've took her. Actually, I have took her to a awards show once.
I feel really sad.

First off, what would be your definition of "fake"? People use that word in so many different ways, that I don't understand what it is anymore.
Anyways,..
This past year, I have lost many of my so called "best friends" over things that I did not do. Lately, people keep screwing me over like crazy. My friends would do the stupidest things and it just makes me think twice, how many chances should I give these people after all of the things that they did to me.
I have major trust issues and it's so hard for me to let go .. but I honestly don't know what to do. I stand up for myself at all times and I feel like I'm too nice sometimes.

I am best friends with a guy (we'll call him Bob) and recently he got a girlfriend and I find myself being outrageously jealous at times.
Well nowadays I tend to get angry very easily at Bob. For instance, if I text him and he doesn't text me back, I get mad and send him an even angrier text. If I'm having a problem, and go to him for comfort and advice, a lot of times he will brush me off and say that he can't possibly fix anything.
Before he got his girlfriend, I felt like he was always there for me and we talked pretty much non stop. Now, if I'm not the one texting him, I'll be lucky to hear from him once a week.
Do I have a right to be angry? How can I tell him that I'm feeling very hurt without sounding nasty?

i'm sixteen years old and i just found out that one of my best friends had sex. we are really close and i was surprised to hear it, especially because i thought she would tell me something like that. i don't know if i should bring it up to her because i don't want her to get angry that i found out or be embarrassed or anything. should i say anything about it or forget it?

Problem with how to handle a difficult situation with my son's friend

My 12 year old son has a neighborhood friend (who spends alot of time at our house). He is a very nice boy, who doesn't have alot of friends because he can be "a pain in the neck" (according to my son) and we believe because of his hygiene. His odor is very offensive and we don't even like when he sits on the furniture in the house. He has been in the car with us on a few occasions and it is necessary to open the windows to cut some of the smell. Here's the really tough part... how do we handle this. I would like to pull him to the side and speak to him about taking showers and wearing clean clothes, but the other part of me thinks we should speak to his parents. The problem with this is his mom is not very "clean" either. What should I do??

Okay so my boyfriend recently broke up with me because I refused to have sex with him. My best friend has a class with him and he is constantly flirting with her.The bad thing about is that she has a boyfriend and the though of my ex trying to get her to cheat makes us mad.I feel giving him a peace of my m ind,but I don't want to be rude yet I have no idea how to tell it in a nice way.What should I do?

my friend who's name is andee is usually the happy type of person.. she rarely cries. and today, i found out that andee was crying really hard to my other friend. andee is really close to her grandma, and turns out that her grandma has cancer. me and my friend is planning to all hang out and to cheer andee up, but what should i say to be able to comfort her? i'm not very good at comforting people when it comes to something that you can't stop from happening, so what should i say?

Alright, so me and my best friend are EXTREMELY close. We can tell each other anything and we trust each other completely. We hang out a lot and stuff and we're both addicted to taking pictures and stuff, so we go to the mall and take crazy pictures all the time. So there is this guy (Kenny) that my friend likes and lately me her and him
have been hanging out a lot you know just being teens, like going to the park and playing disc golf...

Well, let's get right to the point. My mom and I are going shopping in August soon for back to school shopping, and I REALLY want my best friend to come. But, there's only one problem. my friend and i have been best friends for a long time. we are in 7th grade now and she has new friends who take control of her and she lets them! One time we were in the bathroom and the girl is just like dont be jealous because she wants to sit with me and not you and my friend just stood there and let her say those things!!! we are on the same cheerleading squad and her mom and my mom are one of the coaches. now her mom is being kinda different to my mom. my friend doesnt even care that were not friends anymore!!
