FAFSA - asap help

I completed my FAFSA part of the form. I emailed my mom and told her I needed her to complete her part. She told me that she didn't think to bring the information with her, she's traveling the US right now and will not be back until the middle of August. FAFSA deadline is 06-30-2012! What do I do?!

Lady of Shalott

Basically, I need to do a piece of art, be it a poem, a song, or a painting, inspired by the Lady of Shalott poem and write about my piece of art. But I don't know what to do. Basically, could you take any aspect of the poem, like Sir Lancelot's role or something, and explain it to me, or just give me some ideas on what to do?
I want to do a poem and a painting and incorporate the poem into the painting, but what about?? Help please...

How many AP classes should I take?

My school isn't very big, so it only offers 10 AP classes (I think). But anyway, for college admissions, how many is too many? Some kids take 5 or 6 classes and they end up being miserable. I want to have time to do other things in the areas I want to focus on (Science and Foreign Languages). Anyway, in my junior and senior years I can take 4 classes each (English, math, science, French). Is that too much? If it helps any, I'm planning on applying to several Ivy League schools. I have this very important exam at university in two days,I've studied everything I had to study,I feel like I'm ready,but I'd like to take the exam right now bc I thing rhis is the right moment!I cannot wait any longer!How can I simmer down a little,I'm getting really stressed and over emotional,can anyone guide me?thanks;)

Major in Art?

I'm thinking about getting my bachelor's degree in studio art because I LOVE art and always had a passion for it. I took a few classes and my professors told me that they see something in me and that I have natural talent. Although I know that I'll enjoy it, I'm afraid to major in art because I don't know what kind of career options I'll have. Should I follow my dream and go for it or just major in something that I don't enjoy just to be on the safe side? Thank you so much for your responses!

Hi,
I just completed my first year of college and I'm 19/f.
I have always wanted to do medical mostly because of the money; I've had dreams of having a nice car, my dream house, and giving my kids the things I never had growing up.
I really have a passion for children; mostly smaller kids around newborns-3 year old; and what not which is why I wanted to become a Neonatal/Labor and Delivery Nurse;
Well about 5 months ago, I started working at a daycare; and I fell in love with it. I work about 10 hours a day and I never dread going to work;seeing my children's faces just makes me so happy and I love thm all.

Well, I was doing pretty good in math,until I turned in the WRONG late assignment. I got a 0 because of that, and now I have a C in math. We just started doing geometry, and I sorta have troubles with it, but I studied hard for my test, but ended up getting a C on it. There's only like eight school days left, and I need at least a low B to get honor roll. We have a final coming up. Any tips for me to pass the final and bring my grade up?

Shrunken Heads

My english teacher assigned us each different mysteries to do some research on. I got head shrinking. i asked my grandma if she knew anything about it and she said that when she was young and worked at a photo processing company and that someone that worked with her had a shrunken head. She said that the woman took a trip to Africa and was kidnapped and a tribe shrunk her head. Is this possible. If so could she really have lived through such a thing??

My Teachers Teach In A Way Thats Hard For Me To Learn

I am a gifted student in a gifted school and I am in 7th grade at a 9th grade level. I will have 6 credits before I get to 9th grade. Also, I used to be a straight A student. 3 of my current teachers do the same exact class routine everyday and it gets reallly boring and hard to not be sleepy andpay attention. I drink coffee in the morning usually and it doesn't help wake me up. 2 of these 3 teachers teach quite the opposite of the way I learn best. They both go very fast and don't give any visuals. Is there a way that I can adjust to this way of learning? I don't adjust now I will have to go to a school that I really don't want to go to and my grades right now are i beleive: 2 A's, 2 B's,1 C,1 D,1 E...Please give as much help as you can. Thank you.

Teacher embarrassing me

So many times on here I have written about being shy at college and to get advice for it. The shyness is gradually going away and I am confident enough to speak up in class.
However, now I do speak up, the teacher keeps embarrasing me, saying really rude sexual jokes about me 'atracting' this other mega quiet boy in the class and 'getting it on'.
The whole class found this hilareous of course because I'm rather quiet. I had no choice but to laugh it off, but how are you supposed to deal with a sitation like this if it keep arising?
