hi! i need some help. I did very unhealthy dieting and about 2 months ago i started eating normally again. i gained some weight because i was taking birth control pills and now that i've got off of them i've lost some weight on my own... but i need a little help to get back at a comfortable weight for me.... but the thing is that it's just hard mentally. even though it's not so bad, i find it really hard to do it. especially, after all i've been through. it's not like i'm eating crap either. i mean, i eat pretty healthy. i just need to go on a structured meal plan. i have done it before, and i know i can do it again... but i need help to be mentally ready to do it. any advice?

this may be lengthy, but please i have never shared this with anyone and NEED help.
When i was 13 years old i got my period in September for the first time in 8th grade. shortly after this, i realize now i went anorexic. i hardly ate anything, and i lost weight rapidly. my period never came back again a second time. i got extremely thin to the point where by ribs stuck out and my face looked sickly. the sad thing is, the whole reason i did this because i wasnt happy with my body. i was thin, but i had no boobs. i decided if i didnt have boobs, then i would get really skinny instead. its sad that i didnt know that i had no boobs because my period had just started and they had not started growing yet. so i was basically...

heyy i was wondering if you know anything about green tea and diet plans, i wanted to start a diet to lose close to 10 lbs in a month. and I heard green tea was a good way to burn fat.

I've read so many dieting books and websites and I'm sick of trying to implement different diets. If I eat between 1200 and 1300 calories a day, and work out 4 to 7 days a week (burning 150 to 300 calories), will I lose weight and get fitter? I am 5 foot 2 and weigh 150 pounds.

does it have to do with my digestive system?

I'm aiming to loose weight by the summer, I've started to do sit-ups and a few other things a couple of times a week. But, my mum told me that its not my diet that I need to change. Just recently I've been eating more fruit though. So, I just want someone else's opinion about my diet?
Normally for breakfast, I don't have that much time in the mornings, I have either cereal or toast with a cup of tea. For lunch I have a sandwich, crisps and a nutri-grain bar. I have a variety of things for my dinners, from pizza, pasta, chicken veg and potatoes, curry (not very often). I have an apple or a banana as soon as I come in from school and maybe some grapes later on after dinner if I get hungry.
So, is this alright? Is it just exerc...

hi!! i need some advice on my family. i am very big on nutrition and am currently trying to lose weight after leaving a particular medication.. i live with my mom and grandparents. they, however, don't have the same idea on nutrition as i do. they think that if you don't eat a steak, you are not nutritioned at all. i am a vegan. i really have been trying to cut a lot of dairy out of my diet because i have had a lot of indigestion problems... and it just has not been good. i eat a lot of tofu and very healthy things. but, i am really going to try to take some of this weight off. the thing is, that they are very unhealthy here in this house. there is always chocolate cake and different things here and it's not exactly fun. imagine being on a ...

Hello im 18/f i want to become more healthier right now i eat alot of fast food and i drink a ton of pop and little water. I'm 5'6 and 143 pound and i want to lose a few pounds and not just lose weight but become healthier. I'm just wondering what are foods that are very good for you when you're trying to diet i've heard high protein low calories and carbs. Any examples for food that i could eat regularly would be appreciated! Thanks I rate!

Hi everyone. If you are willing to give me some advice you think can help me, feel free. I would greatly appreciate it. Let me begin by giving you a little bit of my history. I use to be a little chubby. I wasn't huge. Just chubby, but I think part of it was that I was still growing into my body. Like my boobs didn't fit with my body yet, etc. However, people can be crewel needless to say and some comments got to me. Combined with stress,last year, I dealt with an eating disorder. I lost a lot of weight. Somewhere between overweight and underweight, I found a weight where I was happy and comfortable. i dont eat all week (besides coffe with half and half) and then weekends i binge like crazy and take laxatives.
this weekend i did that except i took the laxatives to late and i think i fully digested everything i ate (which was ALOT)
this week i have not eaten yet (besides coffe and some vegetables) i just tried on a dress that i am wearing tomorrow and my stomach looks huge and wide and its really not flattering. why does my stomach look huge? h...

I have a major sweet tooth. I am really big on balance and moderation, but I do tend to treat myself to some kind of sweet treat everyday. Like, maybe a cookie or brownie, or I don't know some sweet tarts, etc. I'm very thin, so there is not a weight issue with it, drs actually tell me to eat more, but my aunts and other family give me a hard time and acts like it's so bad that i like to eat sugar now and then. It makes me worry that its going to hurt my health. But honestly, I have a sweet tooth that will never come lose and I'm thin and in decent shape, so what is the problem?! It is OK to eat sweets in moderation (even daily), right?!

17/f I know most teen girls go through some form of eating disorder but my friend took it to extremes. She only eats once a day if that. And all it is is salads. Her hair is falling out, she is pale, and her mood seems more depressed/ lacks life. I keep telling her to stop but she won't. Her mom doesn't even seem to care she works slot and is never around.

I've been trying to be healthy so I switched to whole grain. I got brownberry bread and it is the health nut kind. I looked and saw it has 120 calories in 1 slice. In the white valutime bread there is 80 why so much less?

i think its because of winter, but lately ive been getting some dandruff. not a lot, but some. i used head&shoulders, said to be anti-dandruff, but it just gave me more.
