Lose 40 pounds in 3 months? Posted Thursday October 6 2011, 2:13 pm
Hi there :)
I'm 5'1 and roughly 150 pounds - which is quite overweight for my height.
I feel so self-conscious, and as a result of my size, I hate going out with my friends in public. I feel as though everyone stares at me. :/
I really, REALLY want to lose a good deal of weight before my birthday, which is at the end of January. ...I'm one of those people who finds is extremely easy to gain weight, but can't seem to lose it. :( What should I do? Should I take a dietary supplement such as Proactol, to kick start my weight loss?

want to lose 20 pounds but every time I try I cheat on my diet. This summer I kept cheating and telling myself that Id just start my diet over the next day, but when the next day came I always ruined my diet. People around me are always eating junk and when I see it I have to have it and I over eat. How can I stop craving junk food?
If eat a small portion of something I crave then I will want

So, I know crunches/sit ups won't help me lose belly fat. I've known that I can't target places to lose fat from my body for a long time, but I've been doing some research lately and I'm curious about a few things.
I used to do sit ups almost every day for a few months in high school. I liked doing them, and I found that in conjunction with some dancing my fitness had improved over the time period. I'm now 19 and I've started doing them again lately.
In the past year and a half I've slowly lost about 13-14 kilos. I've been doing different kinds of exercise and healthy eating over that period and my stomach has definitely gone down in size. It's still big, jiggly and fatty so I decided that with my normal rigoro...

Okay, so I am a 14 year old girl and have one main problem, I over eat and pick at food. I can't find the self will to tell myself to stop eating and that I have had enough, even when i everyday weigh myself in the morning. Every time I have some sort of food that I know I shouldn't I feel so disappointed with myself and then guilty. After a while i tend to feel depressed as well. My parents make me healthy meals and encourage me a lot, but its when i have to help myself that i fail.I really want to lose some weight as well and this problem just isnt helping ( to say the least) please can someone help me?

When I wake up in the morning I weigh 140 and then later on in the day I weigh 144 or 146. When you wake up in the morning is that your real weight?

I have been on a diet for several weeks now, maybe about 2 months. I successfully lost 8-9lbs by eating 1200-1700 calories a day and running cross country. But all of the sudden I seem to be gaining the weight back, and I don't understand why. I know that weight fluctuates but it seems like I've gained back A LOT. My clothes are fitting looser, so maybe I'm just gaining muscle weight? I don't understand. Could I have gained a few lbs because it's the week of my period?
Any suggestions/tips/etc. is very appreciated. Thank you & God bless

I'm a 14 year old girl from Australia and right now i feel absolutely fucking terrible. i weigh 105 kilo's. its utterly disgusting. i cant even look myself in the mirror with out being repulsed. i dont even look at photo's from a year ago. when i was still over weight but not THIS big. i just want to know if there is some sort of diet that you can go on that will help you lose weight FAST.
P.s. its pretty fucked when you live in a country with THE BEST beaches and you cant even where a bikini. or any sort of swim suit because your gross looking.

I´m 16 years old and I go to the gym three times a week (tops). I´ve been told to drink protein shakes to accelarate the process of gainning muscle. I´m a little afraid of side effects, tough I want to drink them. Also my parents aren´t so open about it and forbid me because they aren´t "natural".
I can buy them without them knowing, though I feel bad for doing something like that behind their backs. I really want to start taking them right away but I dont know what to do !!!!!!

hi,
ok so i really want to loose weight, im 13 years old and female, i weigh 51.3Kg, im 166cm tall and fit a size 12A bra.
i dont want to get a six pack or get buffed with muscle, i just want to get thin and have a soft stomach.
if i lose weight i am scared i will loose my breasts as well and everyone will notice and say i never actually had breasts and i was just wearing a bra to be a try hard.
i am also afraid that if i lose weight my new weight will not match my body type because i have bigger bones, if i lose weight will my bones shape differently to match my weight?
i really want to loose weight and be able to fell comfortable in a bikini.

ok is it normal to get this liquid in your panties when you run like as if your private is "sweating"? im really worried. its alot like smooth its not lumpy and it doesnt have a smell but alot comes out. what is this called? please help

I'm a 20 year old guy 5'11'' tall and 140lbs. I weight train 4x/week, doing 2 workout roughtines each twice/week. The 1st focuses on upper body (curls, flys, pushups, rows, etc.) while the 2nd is lower body (calf raises, squats, lunges, etc.) I run 3-5x/week, performing HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) where I run four, 5 min. intervals (2 min. slow, 2 medium, and 1 sprint for a total of 20 min.) I also do ab workouts 3x/week, performing renegrade rows, leg lifts, and various bridges. I eat very healthy though I'm afraid I may not be eating enough since I usually limit my caloric intake to around 1800 calories a day with lots of protein, a decent amount of complex carbs, and a minimal amount of fat. I'm at a loss as of what to do, wh...

I've lost a lot of weight through healthy exercise and new food life style over the past year, my stomach has gone down dramatically along with the rest of me, but there is still this bit of jiggly fat at the lower bottom that doesn't seem to go away. Along with the pooch, chubby fat above vagina. What can I do? Am I doing something wrong? Not running enough, not lifting as much weights or doing enough sit ups? Help please and thank you.

My features: I have skinny arms, an ok six-pack, muscular thighs and calves. I play soccer and I was wondering, what is a healthy way to gain weight so I can have muscular arms? I've heard that by eating a lot of meat I gain weight. Is this true?
