Friend who is dealing with a death & befriended me bcos i tried to help

Well, my friend sam is dealing with a death and im REALLY close with her, well i was. I helped her out ALOT because she was my best friend, we had so many inside jokes.
i said i'd go to the funeral [but i didnt know the girl that died, but id go as a friend and for sam to cry on me for etc] and now she be-friended me but she cant tell her herself! shes making my best friend tell me, wtf?! i offered, i couldnt go though bcos i was gunna be on vacation. i have no ide awhat to say to her bcos she can be a huge bitch, bigger than i can be. and sam is in my lunch and she told my friend that shes gunna sit with me but hate me at the same time. because she doesnt have anyone to sit with. should i not allow her to sit with me? shoul...

I have a friend, Christy, who I just became friends with over the summer. She would come over my house a lot with my other friend, Jake.
Now, Christy is friends with like 4 different groups of people. One group is people she used to be friends with before she moved here. Another group is people that are sort of popular, another group is this group of girls who I really wanna be friends with (this sounds retarded but it's a whole different story). The final group she's friends with are the people I hang out with. I don't even like most of them, which is why I wanna be friends with other people.

An Old Friend

I had a best friend when i was five. She moved away and i didnt see her until i was eight and then i havnt seen her since [im 15 now]. I spoke to her recently through myspace/bebo/facebook/msn etc and she is coming down where i live due to family commitments and her and her mum are going to drop by for a visit. My mum and her mum are great friends, so they will have plenty to talk about/ But me and my "best" mate, we've talked on msn and stuff and she seems so nice and so friendly but what if its awakard and there is nothing to talk about, what should i do? I mean she suggested the arrangements, so she must want to see me...what do i do? How can i keep us talking

Okay, i've known this girl christie for so long that i can call her my sister. I've known her since 6th grade, and since then we've hung out basically every weekend and every day during the summer. I'm apart of her family.
then this girl casey comes along [i introduced them, i was friends with casey first before christie] and she ruins our friendship/sisterhood.
well, im best friends with christie again, but not with casey. christie is having her sweet16 in december. shes putting casey on her candles BEFORE ME. that really pissed me off and i just wanted to LEAVE her house. casey is candle 7, im number 8. I told her that it pissed me off and she said suck it up. I told my sister and she said its not a big deal...

so iam the girl who posted "bestfriend" and the feedback i got from people were great!! but something else has happened and so i need some more advice...what if i told him how i felt but he didnt respond instesd he just acted as if i never even told him at all..were great friends and no things didnt get awkward but he keeps going on like my feelings don't matter..not only that but some people at school say that it isint right to go after somone younger then me and some say age is just a #...(he is 3 yrs younger then me BTW)....what should i do or how should i react???? i want to become better friends with some people that are nice to me. they classify me as shy, and sometimes they talk for me because they think im shy. but i just have social anxiety, and i told them that. i didnt really talk to people that much the last couple years, so im kind of socially retarded. i know most things said have some common sense in it, but i get nervous sometimes because my anxiety and end up saying something wrong or something stupid. i take prozackk now, which helps alot and gave me confidence, but i still dont know how to communicate. i think i have a pretty good personality, but i rate my conversation skills about a 3 on a scale 1-10. i can talk and like joke around and stuff, and sometimes when people joke around wit...

Lying to get money?

I've been friends with this guy since I was in 10th grade. I'm 23 now, so we've been friends for awhile. Recently, I got a phone call from this friend. He said that he was upset and he needed to talk. To make a long story short, he needed to borrow $80 to get himself to and from a funeral that was three hours away. I of course lend him the money.
The problem is, he lied about WHY he needed the money. There was no funeral he was attending. His friend didn't die like he said. He was going to some 3-day camping trip with like 500 other people.
He said he would pay me back on the first of the month and that's fine. But should I approach him about the fact that he lied to get money? Or leave it alone?

My best friend is 18 and we have dated once then his ex GF wrote him a long note saying she loved him. He dumped me and they got together then we stoped talking. Then we became friends and then best friends. Its almost a year since we dated and he told me that he loves me and always has..the problem is he is still with the same girl he dumped me for.He tells me all these sweet things and how much he cares for me. Troubled over 19 year long friendship

I am 24 years old and am currently at a point in my life where I don't think I can be friends with my life-long friend of 19 years.
I have stood by him, even though it was hard, despite all the terrible decisions he's made with his life. He has 2 DWI's, lost his car, lost his band because of his drinking, lost many friends, slept with a friends girlfriend whom he is currently still with. He faces jail time, and could quite possibly lose his job. Needless to say, he's almost lost everything.

so im a new student and it really sucks.
people here dont eat lunch. there are four groups of people and one of the groups are really stand-offish i tried talking to them, most are nice but it seems liek they dont want me in their group, they're also connected to the second group, and they're standoffish too. i have to ask people if i can sit with them for lunch, and they say okay, hesitantly. i cried today during lunch in the bathroom, i cried myeslf to sleep last night. everything here sucks and i hate it. i need help, what to do? i seriosuly count the hours till i go home. what should i do? do you think its because its only the second day and im a new kid?! Trying to make this short:
I used to have a short crush on Kevin and I don't like him like that anymore--he's more of a great friend now. The problem is he never got over me and I know he still likes me. Well, anyway, I have mixed feelings for him now--like I like him as a friend but I sort of want to go out with him yet I can't see us going out, etc, etc. The problem?

well im new at school and there is a good amount of kids in my grade..well im doing pretty good meeting girls but i really want tome good guy friends but it always seems harder to approach guys than girls. so my question..how should i approach guys and talk to them and introduc myself? i do i get guys to start talking to me at school? i want to be popular (in the good way like im friends with everyone) and usually i have lots of friends and talk to lots of people so im trying to get like that in my new school. so any tips and tricks on how to talk to guys would be so helpful!! thank you so much :)
