ok this may be long im just warning you in advance. ok so im going to be completely honest. i am in no way a perfect or even close to be perfect person. i party, go out, and make mistakes. but lately it seems like i have just been worried about others way more than neccessary and taking crap that i shouldnt. it is mostly just one person. this girl is my best friend. we hang out al the time. but lately i think she is starting to think she can say or do anything and ill let it go. so i drive everywhere she wants to go on the weekends or even during the week. its not like she cant drive she just says she doesnt have the money, although i pay for absolutely everything and she pays for just gas and makes more money than me, but that really doesn...

I've been in this group of kids (a clique, in other words) for like 2 years now.This senior girl, Leslie, is the leader of the pack. Me and Leslie have been like best friends the past two years. Right when we met we clicked instantly and had so much in common. (Our goofy, carefree attitudes/behavior, and our all-around silliness.) I should make it clear that although she is a year older than me, we have the same experience level on subjects like drugs and sex-- NOTHING! Neither of us have ever even had like a serious boyfriend, and neither of us have ever even gotten close to drugs. We were SO far away from any of this permiscuous behavior. How should I talk to girls without getting embaressed?

I am a 14 year old male. I just started my first day of high school on September 2nd. Today is September 5th. Schools been relatively good until today. What went wrong is that a bunch of girls wanted to talk to me. Some approached me and I talked to them. The others said hi as I passed and I didn't talk to them. When I talk to or get talked to by girls I get shy & nervous and I stutter and am really slow figuring out what to say. Please help me figure out what to do. Be Yourself doesn't help me, sorry.

so my best friend is going out with this guy that i absolutley despise with a hot fiery buring passion. she's 14, he's 17. red flag right there already, right? after like 2 or 3 weeks of dating, she had sex with him and gave him a blow job. i got so mad at her, you have no idea. the only thing i really cared about was the sex. she promised me that she would never do that again until she was older so i just kinda blew it off.
well, yesterday she was texting him from my phone. she forgot to delete the texts. i read all of them. she told him it wasn't a good time for her to have sex because she's on her period. and he said back so you want to? and she said of course i do. i saw those and i just wanted to cry....

Im a senior this year and i am so close with my best friend jessica, but i started hanging out with my old friends...and im extremely close with them again, and are with them everyday. I still try and call jess and i see her at soccer practices, but she's started acting really bitchy towards me. I have'nt abandoned her...and its not that i dont care or dont love her still but its not really affecting me all that much...but i dont wanna completely lose her...so what do ya think???

Ok, here gos.
My Bestfriend "Jess" go dumped by her boyfriend "Frank"... for his Ex girlfriend... like a month ago or something.
"Jess" still really likes him. She talks about him all the time!
When they were going out, he was tellin me things like: "I really like you!" and "If I wasnt going out with 'jess' I'd totally go out with you."
I didn't even like him then...
But I really like him now!
But i know if i go out with him, "Jes" will get really angry.
what to do?

well first off i sorta like my friend "bob"
butt theres so many rumors going around about him.
they seem true.. butt i dunno.
like hes been texting my friend.. and saying the same exact stuff to her that hes been saying to me.
so im not really sure..
he says he loves me.. and wants to become a little more than friends..
butt i sorta feel like hes using me..
and i beleive stuff to fast..
so like when i hear something bad about him i get all mad..
then when he talks to me about it..
i believe him right away..
i just need someone who can be honest with me i just like him wayy too much..

i was best friends with this girl for two years then this summer i started like kissing guys and experimenting with new things. and shes telling people i changed and how she doesnt want to be my firend. she wont come to me and talk about it and i already asked her if shes pissed at me and she says no and was nice to me in school but i still feel like were not the same as we use to be. i dont know hwat to do because i am still me and she as my firned should not judge me and if she has a problem she should talk to me!

Last year I tried hard to make new friends and I did. I met this guy Jacques who is great because his nerdish ways don't make me seem so weird.
The bad thing is my female best friend and he started dated. And at first everything was great I was so happy for them and I still am especially for him because he is head over hills in love I mean its sad how fast he falls.
I noticed her getting weary everytime either of us mentioned each others names. And after both of our attempts to make sure she knew what we knew and that is we are in no way attracted to each other.

One of my best friends has recently been diagnosed with chlamydia and she is very scared that something will go wrong with her baby because she is 5 months pregnant and has this STD. I know because of the STD she had to see her OB/GYN a lot more frequently. This is her first baby and she's only 16 in 10th grade.
Anyway, she is really afraid to tell her boyfriend that he gave her chlamydia because he promised to her that he was clean and had been tested recently. She lost her virginity to him the night they met, he was openly not a virgin then. Hey, I'm 16/f. I live in a small town, mostly full of old(er) people.
Anyhow, all my life I had been a loner because i spent most my days in the hospital in a different province. Long story short (sorry this may end up long in the end), I had kidney failure at age three, spent up until like age 5 in hospital, was on dialysis, got a transplant when i was 7, and now i go to hospital in different province about twice a year. So I never really had time to make any real friends.
At school I would always sit on this one bench outside at recess because i wasnt good at making friends and people didnt want to 'hurt' me (which wAs kind of them) after my mom told everyone i had sugery. Everything kinda went downhill from there. T...

i have this guy friend and i've known him all my life since i was a kid. i just was wondering could we be soulmates because i watch dawsons creek and i watched the series finale the other day and dawson and joey said that their soulmates.
but what does that mean?????? their in love or they know everything about each other inside out.
i know that sounds wierd but he seriously is always there. and he was there through my breakups. and everything, we always say i love you and hes like my brother but not by blood.

confidence for college?

hi, 16/m :).
well on thursday, im starting college (equivalent of High School in the states?), and ive always been really really lacking in the confidence section of life. Im confident around my close circle of friends, and my close family. Anyone apart from them, and i just sit there, quietly. Obviousely i want to sort this problem out, i dont want to be quiet for the next two years.
The reason i thought i was quiet, was because everyone knew i was quiet at my last school. Even if i wanted to say something, or have an opinion, everyone would be shocked, because they most likely hadn't heard me speak for 5 years! I'm doubting this is the reason, as at college (induction) i was quite quiet also. Can anyone at all help ...

I told my best friend I loved him because he has said so many times he loves me but he has a GF so today I got so upset and finnaly told him I was falling in love and he said nothing just gave me a blank face so i said I had to go and ran away. I cant talk to him anymore and he wont talk to me. I know I shouldnt have said anyhting and now I dont know what to do. We have tried not talking before because we had dated then broken up and then we strted to talk agian and the feelings came back but stronger so IDK what to do he is my best friend and i have fallin for him but now he wont talk to me. Feeling close.

I have issues with feeling close to people. My family had to move periodically up until three years ago. So now, I keep feeling like I should move soon but we obviously don't. So it's like my subconscious doesn't want me to get close.
Even with my best friend, I feel like I actually can't tell her everything. She tells me everything, but I can't do the same.
It's pretty much like I'd prefer to be alone. But I really do want to hang out more with people. It's just really hard. Once I do start talking about what's going on, you can't stop me. It's just hard to reach that point.
My question is how can I start feeling closer? I don't want to be alone, but feel like I have to.
