Homecoming

My friend and I were totally psyched to get to go to homecoming this year, but now she doesn't want to go because no one's gunna ask her. She's still madly in love with her ex boyfriend, blahblahblah and she only wants to go with him. I really can't believe she's not going because she's not gunna go with her ex. She's ruining her teenage years by obsessing over this guy. How can I convince her to go and to have FUN?

well i started college a few weeks ago and have made a FEW very good friends. i am very comfortable with them and spend a lot of time with them. i have about 3 of these good friends. however, i would REALLY like to make more friends because sometimes these friends aren't available or i don't feel like being with them all the time. i am joining clubs, living on campus, yet i haven't met very many people in my classes or in the clubs. i am typically good at meeting people and i'm outgoing, but i feel like nothing is really happening right now. i would just like advice from people in college. oh, and i'm not joining a sorority or anything like that...but i would like to make some good girl bestfriends.

okay, well, my friend is so annoying!! she loves herself so much... and i don't know what to do... i told her that she needs to stop, but she just thought i was joking...
another thing that is really pissing me off lately is that, well i've already asked a question about this but, anyway, well she went to a band camp and got with this guy, even though she had a nearly boyfriend at home but i accidently told her nearly boyfriend, and now she keeps bringing it up and making me feel bad but am i right in saying that if she really cared about the guy at home she wouldn't of gone with the one at band camp would she?

my best guyf riend two years ago and i stopped being friends like 6 months ago cause we became friends with beenfits and it just stopped working out. we got into way to many fights. now he wants to be my friend again and said we can forget teh past but im scared i dont want to get hurt again i cried over him forever. i decided im going to be his friend but if somehting happens again how can i handel it matturely without making a huge deal about it and dreading not being his friend?

OK people I am sorry I am always asking questions about one guy. and thank-you to the people who have helped me out.Well last night me and my best friend (who is a guy) were talking on the net and some how we ended up doing stuff and him saying he wishes it was in person. Well he has a gf and today he was acting like I was his GF and treating me like it and making sure I was ok with what ever he was doing.Sad part is he dont even do that with his Gf. So idk what to do he is cheating on his Gf with me and I feel more guilty then him.....GAH! I love him more then anything but this isnt right

Okay, so I'm not saying I hate my best friend "Nora?" It's just that she can be really mean to me and to our other friends.
Ex.) On this one site were I posted a story she also did and my story was more successful than hers and she wrote a bad comment about me in my guestbook ,but it was annomonsye[sp?] well i found it was her because her IP addresses matched. Well I was upset about this ,but I got over it.

hi,im a 16 about to turn 17 soon and my whole life i've known i was adopted.me and all of my older brothers(there's 3 of them) are all adopted from different families and live with the wolrd's greatest parents.but being adopted to me is a hude deal.i don't look anything like the peoeple who adopted my and i need to know who my real parents are.my whole life i've always thought about it and now it's starting to destryoy me.knowing where and who i came from is the most important thing to me and i feel as if everyone esle knows bc there are not adopted.my parents that i live with mow say they will not tell me anything and they hide the truth from me anyways.they're afraid that if i discover who i am and my real parensta that i will stop loving...

13/Male- I have this friend of mine, we've been friends for years now, and I kinda used to have feelings for her a few years ago, but then realized it was awkward that way and since then, just kinda back to liking her as a friend.. Anyway, she's 13 as well and I just found out she's dating a 16 year old, should i be slightly concerned? I mean, I'm probably thinking the worse, but it's been crossing my mind the last few days and am just kinda wondering if maybe I should be a little worried.. Most of my friends are dating 13-14 year olds.. Could there be a "reason" if you know what I mean, that he'd want to have her as a girlfriend? I mean, if I was 16, I'd probably be looking at someone around the similar age.. Just my opinion..

Okay so, for starters thanks for helping me, and i know this is kind of a long drawn out thing, but please read all of it inorder to understand the complete situation.
Okay So i have two "best" friends, MC (girl), and TL(guy/cousin)
So me and TL have been bff's since we were little babies, and me and MC have been bff's for a few years too, and I guess at some point of having both of them as best friends, they also became bff's.
WELL the thing is MC like, likes TL, and she is constantly flirty getting his attention. AND he likes it he'll say stuff all the time to her like " i love you as my #1 bff, or your soooo funny, Your awsome" But he NEVER talks to me any more hardly, and neithe...

okay so I have this friend who's a junior and I'm a freshman. my friend gets mad at me because I never said hi to her parents when they drove us home and to school but I did. Well, here's my problem. Last year, in 7th grade, my best friend really liked this guy she was friends with. I was so happy for her, because she never likes anyone, and she was always talking about how much she liked him and that he was so cute and whatnot. Well, i like this guy and he knows. Well, he's off limits anyways because he is "talking" to his ex girlfriend. so for the first time in a long time, i really feel like all my friends have moved on from me. they either got bored, or found someone better. i am usually very confident and happy, i'm just shy with new people. i'm not sure what to do with myself anymore. also, i'm drifting from all my best friends; especially one that i've had for 11 years. (i'm 15 , shes 17). i feel like i can't relate to anyone anymore, many of my friend's changed. if anyone has gone through this, what did you do to cope? any help on this would be appreciated, thankyou so much<3

I'm 21/f, the guys are 21 and 23. They're both generally childish, but one of them is brutally honest. One of them lies, but sucks at it...but this is quite a bit more subtle than a lie, which is why I'm confused.
I dated the 23 year old for awhile, and we've had kind of an on-and-off relationship for about three years. We've settled into a very solid friendship, and have always been honest with each other about everything, whether it was really necessary to say it or not. Okay, so I'm 18/f and I've been friends with this woman on the internet for five years, since I was 13. She's 38, and we're both actresses. I met her in a theatre chatboard and we've become quite close over the last 5 years. Granted, I've never talked to her in person; I've seen photos and Youtube videos of her performances.
Recently, she proposed that we finally meet up in real life sometime. She said that I could come and hang out at her home and we could roast oysters. She told me to give her a phone call whenever I'm ready.

ok so my best friend and i have feelings for each other and I told him how I felt and he told me how he felt. We want to get together but he has a GF so we are just friends.Well he went off to collage and last night he came back. Well We met u pand he was with his GF. Well every 5 seconds he wanted me to hug him and I didnt feel right about it so finnaly I huged him and his GF gave me a dirty look. then after that every 5 seconds he gave her a kiss right infront of me.
