please dont answer 'do you homeowkr yourself' or saomething like that, be cause im not looking for the answer i alreadsy know all about it im just trying to understand the question. I have to write a 5 paragraph essya and the question says
'What is the original intent and structure of the central government'
-use the declaration of independance and the articles of confderation as main topics.
I dont really get what thats asking? what would i write about.

im the person who asked about the english class. this is a completely different question, but its more serious than the other.
well..today was the first day back to school. my math class on the schedule is algebra 3. when i went to algebra 3 today, i showed my teacher my transcript because thats what we have to do. she saw my previous algebra grades and they were 97's. she asked me why i wasnt in Honors Analysis instead (which is a more advanced class than algebra 3), and i said its cuz i wanted to be in algebra 3. well, she somehow got someone to call my mom to arrange a schedule change from algebra 3 to honors analysis. my mom agreed.

ok soooooo. im in modern world history honors.(freshman) i absolutely hate it. ok so first of all, we don't have textbooks. because there's not enough or something. and the teacher gives these question sheets out almost every night, and to answer them we have to find the information online, or we recently got these documents books that are so boring and hard to understand that i don't even bother looking at it. so basically, we have to find everything on the internet. which is COMPLETELY unfair. my friend who is in CP history, has a textbook and sometimes my other friend & i (who is also in honors) would look at her textbook to find answers. suddenly, our teacher has caught on and says how we're in honors and we have to learn how to gen...

i like all of my classes this semester except one [im taking 4 classes in high school]. i dont like it because i dont know anyone, the teacher has a reputation for being hard, and i just dont like the class [english]. the teacher said that there would be around 1 hour of homework assigned every night, not including the time we need to read the books she assigned, write a research paper, and study for weekly vocabulary quizes.
i have a part time job and i work 3-4 days of the school week.
i dont know whether i need to quit my job to dedicate more time to the class..or if the teacher just tried to scare us..or how to deal with this whole class situation. so any help would be appreciated.

first day back from winter break

Tomorrow is the first day back at school. I compared my new schedule with my friends' schedules, and so far none of them have the same classes as me. What do I do if no one is in any of my classes? I get really nervous and paranoid when I don't know anyone.

Long thing cut in half. I'm 14/f and I'm bi and I'm not out of the closet and I'm not planning to come out of the closet anytime soon. I have a lot of gay/bi friends and I love them to death and I don't mind. They're out and they're carefree and don't give crap about what others say. But all good things have the iffy side. Some of my friends are homophobes, my family is a huge homophobe, and the school..80% is homophobic. It's really hard to get along with people now that I'm in high school. Some people tend to tease me because I have so many nonstraight friends. I need to do an annotated timeline on 30 events. Yes, fun. One event is English Reformation. I was wonder what exactly that is? Is it the one with all the Protestant vs. Catholic thing? Okay, so I'm 14/f and I'm in 9th grade. I'm taking all IB Prep Courses and that's keeping me up until at least midnight all the time. I'm in strings, forensics team, key club, ruriteens, violin lesson...
Key Club doesn't take much time. Ruriteens takes a little bit of time. Violin lesson I have every Wednesdayafter school for an hour. Forensics team takes dedication--we meet every week and practice all the poems we'll be doing for competitions. Strings is iffy when it comes aruond the Strings Festival time where we go on trips, compete, blah blah and it takes time to practice. IB Prep, ohhh don't get me started on it.

okay so i got a final essay to write for my English Coursework. Im struggling on the question/task though, i just have a total block.
So i was wondering, and hoping that maybe someone here could help me a little.
The question/task is this:
Write fully about one of the characters in the play. Take into account what they have done before the play begins aswell as their actions, words and attitudes during the course of the play. Write about the way attitudes, moods and opinions change and delvelop during the course of the action on stage.
My tutor wants me to write about Sheila so what could i write? Any hints and tips?

Can't find any Hawaii Current Events!

So I need to find two current events for Hawaii. And When I mean current I mean to the day. So right now I am writing this on January 4th, 2007 so ones which are from four days ago max. I tried looking through their states like newspaper website but found nothing acceptable. Something moderatly big evented which ONLY HAPPENED IN HAWAII. I have the PGA tour and gas price increas. Something, please!
I need this right now so if you come by it like on January 5th or any other date after don't bother giving anything.

Appropriate Clothing for High School

Hi, I'm a sixteen year old female from Canada. I like to wear short skirts and shorts in classes since I find them to be flattering and my school is very warm. Last year, our vice principals always told me to change because they were 'too short'.
I have a few problems with this. If I'm not exposing too much (in my opinion) can they legally give me a detention if I do not change? What might happen if I did not go to the detention?
Also, can I argue that they only ask tall people to change since the clothing appears shorter? One day me and my best friend were walking (wearing the same skirt in different colours - accidentaly) and they asked me to change, not her. We were together when it happened.

falling asleep

at my school, we go back to on monday because we were on winter break for 2 weeks. well as most of you ive been staying up really late.. from 1-4 a.m. and i have to go to bed for school at 9:30 because i have to wake up early. the problem is that im not gonna be able to fall asleep that early! any tips? please dont say go to bed early for the last couple of nights because i cant.. i babysit basically from 8 PM-2 AM tomorrow and so thats not a posibility.. also me and my cousins are having a sleepover on saturday and we go to bed really late. any tips on falling asleep quickly on sunday night? (i definitely cant cancel any of the plans) thanks bunches!

is there still a possibility of college?

I am 16 years old and a Junior. I received my transcript and realized I didn't do so well and I will just say that I am not proud of the grades I got (I mainly got Cs, Ds, and some Fs), however, this year my grades are dramatically better. I am now getting As, Bs, and Cs. But, now that I am finally doing better, do I still have a chance getting into college? I know my college choices are limited, but do I still have the chance? And if not, what could I possibly do to save myself to get into college? Like if I kept those grades up all during my Junior and Senior year will that keep my chances of going into college?
