Ok, i have a problem with my ex boyfriend (Jeremy) Last year we dated for 5 months and then i dumped him for this other guy. We didnt talk this summer because we kinda had a fight. Then this year on the first day of school he was in 2 of my classes! After the 2nd class i asked him if i could call him and he said yeah and we talked a little bit. After that I thought it would be fine but boy was i wrong. Then (of course!!!) I was in a group with my friend, a girl i didn't know, HIM, and his other ex girlfriend who hates my guts! She and i have PE and hon. biology together (Hon. bio is what i hav with both Jeremy and his other ex, Miranda) She hates me because he dated me last year when she liked him still from the previosu year. my parents are being totally unfair cau i really want contacts but they say im not going to get them. they say they dont want me to get an infection or something like that, and they say they cost a whole lot more then glasses so is there any way i can get my parents to buy me contacts? caus im already 16 and i look like a total nerd wih glasses.

overprotective mom

I'm 13/f, and I have an overprotective mom. She can't leave me home alone for 15 minutes. I was going to my friend's house. I told my mom that my friend's babysitter was going to be there, which was true, and my mom didn't believe me. She followed me to my friend's door and STUCK her head into the house, and looked around. I was SO embarrassed. She could have at least asked my friend if her mom was home or something. And I'm going to my friend's house soon and I'm so scared that my mom will follow me to the door again. My mom never used to be so overprotective. HELP!! How do I get to calm her nerves down? I live in a town where nothing bad has ever happened.

Okay, lately I've been called moody.
Well if people weren't tards I wouldn't be like what the hell with them. I'm tired of people being like
"Soo Katie what grade did you just go into 9th..10th.." When Im in 7th! Yeahh im tall and look old for my age but if you really have no clue about my age why point it out??
My Aunt is driving me insane. No joke she's driving me up the wall and wonders why i tell her to shut up! okay, im big for my age everywhere im a regualr sizde its only my stomach thats huge.. i have a pot belly that runs in my family and my Aunt will be like "Katie you look pregnante." Racist Mom?

Well, let me clarify that I am not at all racist in any way, shape or form.
My mom is, though. She's always talking about African Americans as if they were criminals or something. She's always saying "Don't hang out with those black kids" or "Those black people are trouble/mean/not proper/etc" That's my MOM's view on them. Not me.
Well, I want to take a extracurricular activity & the only places that teach that activity are in the city/downtown. And my mom doesn't want me going there and stuff because "The place is filled with black people and it's not a safe/nice environment to go to." But I really want to take that activity and I hate learning through videos and DVD's. But ...

my mom is unsupporting

I've been playing soccer for the last 8 years. I've been on a select team for 5 or 6 years. My mom never supports me. She says I suck at soccer & I'm not aggressive & I'm the worst player in my city. It really hurts because I try so hard to show her that I actually have skills. All my friends say I'm one of the best players and they say I'm the best right wing they've ever met. And a lot of people don't make the select team, and I've made it every year. I've made it when people 2 years older than me haven't. So why does my mom say I'm horrible?
Oh yeah, and she says my sister is awesome at softball when her coach doesn't even know her name & it's only her second year and she can barely hit.

my grandma is ruining my life and my family! we went to a baseball game, and we weren't back till late. like 11. [oh by the way, she lives with us] anyways, we come home and there is cop cars in our driveway. if were gone too long, she says shes scared and calls the cops. shes done this multiple times. i cant stand it. im not going to stop living my life for her. its just not right. shes so freaking stubborn its like shes a little kid.
what can i do to make it better?
im not putting her in a nursing home.

Ok well my mom found out about me and my boyfriend because of his mom and now my mom is upset not only is she upset because I have a boyfriend but because she had to find out from someone else who wasn't me and I did something bad I denied it and now she's even more upset because not only did I keep this from her but I lied about also and well lately a lot has been happening in my family between my mom and dad they've been arguing and fighting a lot and my dad brought me into it and my mom got so heated that she blurted out "I know what your keeping from me and we have a lot to talk about" and she's serious so lately she's been really diffrent towards me she no longer looks at me as who I use to be and tomarrow me and her will be ...

I live in NY, and I was telling my mom how I wanted to go to Michigan University when I'm older and going into college. My mom got mad at me and told me that I'm not, and that I would go to a college that was close to home so I wouldn't have to stay in a dorm. How crazy is that? My mom + vegtarianism = bad

So, my mom seriously doesn't approve of me being a vegetarian. She believes in eating all food categories to be healthy and blah blah. Well, I've been a vegetarian for almost 5 months now and I'm well and healthy and enjoying it. Well, my mom still opposes it and views it as an unhealthy thing. I've tried to get it through her head that I can still get the nutrients I'm missing from omitting meat out of my diet. But at times, she keeps on saying stupid things about me being a veg and vegetarianism and sometimes they just want to make me cry. And she absolutely opposes me becoming a vegan in the future. She thinks that I need meat, chicken, seafood, blah blah to be healthy to keep studying hard and I really don't. I'm getting all my protein ...

i'm 16yrs old, &&' my mom found out that i smoke marijuana. I told my cousin, my cousin told her mom, and her mom told my mom. She's all crying and stuff, because she found out. My mom and dad both smoke marijuana, so i don't see why she cares. My mom isn't like a regular mom, she asked me why i didn't tell her. And it's because hes not the mom to talk about sex or stuff like that. I just yelled at her to get out of my room, when she asked me why i didnt tell her. Now i'm mad because i thought she knew all the times i came home and smelt like it. And i'm afraid she'll tell my dad. What do i do? please help in any way!
