16/F I don't know how to go about it, but I want to be more outgoing. Once I'm labeled as the "shy one" I can't move past it. How can I become my lovable self and accept hugs and whatnot because I'm totally sick of being distant and shady.

Another boring "love" predicament.
There is this boy I have liked since last year but we've never had much of a chance to talk therefor we aren't really friends. I REALLLLY like him and every day I just get deeper and deeper.
Everyday he always stares or always does something that makes me think he likes me too. My friends would stop me to say that they saw him looking, even random people I hardly know would tell me that. I'd even catch him looking and he won't look away. I've danced with him at dances, and he's pretty much wherever I go. so im 15. and theres this girl.... i really like her too... however she says that i have to move on. over the summer we would talk till like 4 in the morning about random stuff... anything really. we both have feelings for eachother. we both know this to. now she says that we cant be togther. i dont know wat i did... but i need a big way to make up to her... halloween is nxt week... do i do somthing then??

homecoming

This guy I really want to ask to homecoming just got a girlfriend. I go to an all girls school and he goes to an all boys school. His girlfriend doesn't go to my school though. I wanted to know if you think it would be ok if I still took him to my homecoming. Or would that be totally off limits.
P.S I don't like him, we are just really good friends.

im 16/f. i have to admit that usually i am one to let things get to me, and i've been trying to change that lately. in my school, the other girls treat me with such hostility, mainly because of racism, and i learned to deal with it. but now this one specific girl has taken some kind of negative interest in me, and getting her friends to do the same. all she does is just stare at me as if i've ever done something to her, and when she walks by, she comes real close as if trying to bump into me. it's really tormenting me even though i try to hide it. i don't know why, cause im not even scared of her. i just wish she would stop. and worse, i have to see her everyday, and if i tell anyone, they'll just think i'm being stupid. it's bothering me s...

why would it be good to take time off in a relationship? what do you call like standing back from your relationship to clear your head because its hard to evaluate things when youre in the relationship as opposed to not in one . can someone clarify what im saying for me? i cant find the words.

ive liked thousands of guys, but i never know when im flirting with them. I try, and my friends are like "thats not flirting!" Then when i dont mean to theyre like "I saw you flirting" When i didnt even know i was. So what i want to know is what IS flirting, and how do i do it?!!

best way to get to school

ok well school is gonna be pretty far from my house pretty soon. im gonna go to a different school next year and its about 10 miles from my house and the school i currently go to is 7 miles away in the opposite direction. next semester my brother is going to be at the same school im in now and ill be going to the new school. my parents cant drive me to school. the closest metro bus stop is 2 miles away and a school bus stop is about 3 miles away. im only 14 and i need to know how i can convince my parents to let me go to this school because its such a great school and all my friends go there. any suggestions?

Okay there is this guy on Drama (Drama Club) and (we'll call him Steve.) Steve is just one of those people who can't keep his mouth shut. He always makes dirty comments. Usually I just tune him out but over time it's gotten worse. It's gotten worse because now he always wants to hug me and he makes dirty comments about me. (ew)
Well I am one of those innocent girls. I don't swear, make dirty remarks...that kinda stuff. So from a friend of mine I heard that in English he talks about me. Steve says how "cute & innocent" I am and well....how he wants to take my "innocence".

so there's a guy that i like a lot and I've been his friend for a few weeks (maybe a month?) i don't know him THAT well, but I know enough about him to feel comfortable asking him out.
I think about him all the time and I want to ask him to go to a movie with me this weekend, but I don't know if I should ask him... If I wait, what if he doesn't ask me? I just don't know when/how to ask him or if i should even ask him at all.
He knows I'm interested because of this one time... (i won't explain here)

Alrighty where to start? Well I've known my best female friend for about a year. I always try to do the sweet things such as getting her candy, carrying her books, even going shopping with her. Even at school people always make rumors about us going out, but there are times where I feel like she has interest in me and times where I don't feel anything. She doesn't know that I like her. My question is should I confess to her or if not what should I do?

Being Needy or a Good Friend

I'm not sure if this is the right category, sorry. Anyway, my problem is that I tend to get very attatched to people, and i scare myself sometimes because I begin to wonder, what would I do if that person didn't want to be my friend anymore or something? Some people say it's a good thing to get attatched, but I feel like I'm being kind of clingy. What's your opinion, and, is there any advice on how to not feel so dependent on people? I guess I'm just kind of lonely. Thanks

I'm 15/f (sophmore) and this guy who is a senior has hung out with me a few times and as much as I hate to say it, I'm completly smitten with him, (no this doesn't happen a lot). I'm not sure if he's playing around or if he's really interested. Examples: brushing off the imaginary dust on my shoulder and going back to make sure he "got it all", or whenever I laugh or talk or anything he's always looking directly at me. Am I losing it here, is he just being a nice guy? How do I tell the difference between a nice guy and one who might be interested?
