Biology major

Right now I am trying to earn a biology degree. I have a full ride scholarship, but only for my state. So I want to major in biology, move to florida and go back to school there for enviornmental science. I really want to work in the marine biology field, but it seems that there aren't really degrees for this. Basically what I am asking, does it seem like I am doing the right thing right now? Biology is a very difficult degree to pursue and I just don't want to move far away from home, and then not end up with a satisfing job. Are there any biology majors out there with some good advice?

Homework problems: all my teachers dont trust me and my mom hates me!

I am 14 years old and i have trouble in school. I am in 8th grade and i get tons of homework. My mom is really strict and if i have one piece of missing homework she grounds me for three months and takes away everything. So, Today.. I had a packet (a late one) that i couldn't finish on time. We had a weather Journal (you record weather for a long time) I was trying to do this, my packet, and my homework. My mom told me she wouldn't help me with my work so i told he i didn't have homework (while trying to finish it) She emailed the teachers and found i had late work and yelled at me. She emailed my teach back and said
"I don't know what is wrong with her! I guess i have to tell her other teachers that she's lazy."...

grade trouble

i'm currently in high school and I've promised my self that this year i will study and will not leave my assignment till the due date and so far i have kept to me promise but when i get my projects and tests back my mark does not seem to improve. Also i have this friend that studies at the last minute and copies of my home work and notes and she gets better marks then me. what am i doing wrong? help please

I'm taking a Japanese Culture class and I was told to come up with some questions to ask an international Japanese student about my topic. My topic is Japanese Cherry Blossom festivals. I have to come up with questions that the students would be able to understand and some research questions for myself to research. Hi everyone! I'm 12 years old (female) and I started junior high awhile ago.
Today, i've had trouble with this girl and she seems really mad at me. Anyways, I tried saying sorry to her of what I did but it just didn't come up. She's in the same grade as me. I would tell someone she's picking on me, but I CAN'T and I WON'T. I know it would be better for me, but I can't. I can't and I won't.

Hi! okay so i'm making a dance for my school talent show in a few weeks and i can't decide which song to do! it's either going to be Too Close by Alex Clare or Country Must Be Country Wide by Brantley Gibert. I am goin to a school and they hav uniforms there and I don't mind the uniforms that much but I think that we should hav at least on day to wear what ever we want. So I decided to write a letter to the school but I just don't kno what I should say in the letter. Okay, so this year, I got terrible grades on my ITBS test scores. And on top of that, I got two C's in my third trimester, and one C as my final composite. I'm in the average level, and I don't want to be dropped. But usually in my school you are dropped if you get more than two C's and few D's and F's, or if you go to summer school. So, my question is, will I be dropped?

So I am an incoming freshman to a new high school, in which I know nobody. So I tried out for te song team. I tried out for 2 days and then decided that I didn't want to be on the team, and didn't attend the rest of the tryouts. Later on I was e-mailed that I made the team eventhough I didn't tryout. The thing is, I went to the first practice and didn't like it very much. I feel that it will be too overwhelming with all of the school work I will have to complete. I will also have to get up earlier (5:00) if I do song(dance). Im not sure if I should quit because I don't want it to be stressful and effect my academics? Or if I should stay on the team so I don't disappoint anyone on the team or the coach? Thank you

Question about Knowledge.

Can a person in their 20s strengthen their intellectual aptitude? Is it true that people usually reach their peak at a certain age? I have not yet gone to college. Am I too old to make a great improvement in an area I am not too great in? I did not take advantage of my education when I was in grade school. I really wish I had.
Sometimes I feel incompetent because of my lack of education. Even on this website, I find a columnist that has terrific writing capabilities, outstanding knowledge, and a vast vocabulary. It makes me feel a little smaller and a hint of jealousy. I mean columnists around my age of course; I would not compare to the elderly or the teens.

any way I will move 2 high school after the summer vaction .And I think that I should think about my future carrer
I love Eng alot. My native languge is Arabic,and I love eng So wanna be a teacher
But my family refuse (they give the chance to chosse but they keep arguing me about that) saying teaching is very borning and HARD specifically if u teach a middle school students or the grade that less than middle school.And I don't know .Does teaching boring and hard as they say?????
