How old about should a baby be when his/her parents stop having sex in front of him/her in your opinion?

Last Labor Day, we allowed our 11-year-old son “Brian” to spend the long weekend at the fishing cabin of his best friend Logan; we had our doubts about this, since Logan's mom was alwys kind of a flakey neighbor, but Logan’s family was then moving out-of-state, so this was the last chance the boys would have to spend time together. Brian had a wonderful time. Flash forward six months: I receive a belated holiday letter from Logan’s mom, explaining that she was finally getting organized after their move, and was enclosing a disc of photos taken during Brian’s weekend at the cabin. is it all that bad? i have MANY MANY friends who are teenage parents and they just say oh i love my baby and i dont regret having it. and blah blah blah. they make it seem like its the best thing. i want to know what its really like. but i dont dare ask them because i know they wont tell me the bad things. so what did you go through or going through? do you honestly regret keeping it and all that? I DONT MEAN DO YOU REGRET YOUR BABY! because i know that its your child and you love it so you wouldnt regret that but if you could go back in time would you change things?

I desperately want a child. I want, my husband wants, we want. However, my husband and I purposely will not conceive a child. The reason is, we feel that what we want is not the most important thing. The most important consideration is toward the person who is most directly affected. The most important consideration is toward the child. Making a life-altering decision without consulting the one most affected seems wrong. Also, there is a chance that once the child is grown, he may look back and feel “I would have preferred non-existence. There, I would have remained safe from all harm." Also, any harm that comes to the child would be my fault and my husband’s fault. If we had not conceived the child the harm would not have occurred. Do many other people think this way?

I scold my toddler a few times a day for trying to play in the toilet and putting things in the toilet. will this make it harder to potty train him when the time comes? I feel like he will think he needs to always stay away from the toilet. thanks

my son is a garbage disposal

My son eats and eats and eats. I feed him only healthy food, like fruits, veggies, whole grain wheat, beans, tofu etc. This is all fine and dandy that he eats so much because he is really healthy, but the problem is he stuffs it all into his mouth at once. if I cut his food up in tiny bite size pieces, he shovels is all in until its pouring out of his mouth . I'm afraid he will choke, but I don't neccessarily want to sit there with him and give him his food piece by piece. does anyone know why he eats like that, and how I can slow him down without feeding him piece by piece? He is 17 months old. I am also afraid that when he gets older he will be overweight because he really will eat everything in sight, the other day we went out f...

Spitting 6 year old

My six year old son is spitting on people in school. He has had referrals, reprimands, and recess taken away. At home we are punishing him by grounding him and putting him to bed after dinner. He is on the verge of losing a field trip and baseball.
What can I do to make him quit this disgusting habit?

I found out last week i was pregnant, I have been with the same person for 3 months but at the end of january i slept with my ex, so my boyfriend thinks theres a chance that the baby isnt his. I got my period in february but it was late and when i took a pregnancy test it was negative it didnt come up positive until the first week of march. so if it was my ex boyfriends wouldnt the test come up positive sooner?

My son is soon to be 16 months old. He is very intelligent, and understands most of everything I say. He knows 6 body parts, and can retrieve anything I ask of him..i.e coat, socks, shoes, cup, diaper etc. However, he did not babble much as a small baby, does not call us mom or dad (sometimes says it but doesnt seem to be directed towards us). He does not try to answer questions with words and communicates by grunting and pointing. He sort of says "kitty" (zizzy) and his word for truck is the sound it makes. that is the extent of his vocab. all other children his age I see are saying at least a few words and try to talk. I have read that he could have a speech disability because he is not talking yet..but some people say he is just a late talker. I am very worried.

hi.
i am 16/f. my boyfriend and i have been dating for over a year, and we have sex. well, we really wanted to get pregnant, and the other day he came inside me. now i know 16 seems really young, it is. but im feeling sick to my stomach, i get headachs, thirsty, going to the bathroom a lot, moody, getting cramps, i feel fat, my boobs are aching, ect. its too early to take a test, becasue i havent gotten my period but still i would like a little input incase i am pregnant.
i havnt told either of my parents (they are getting devorced at the moment) but he hasnt told his parents either.
the problem with this is that he was locked up and is currently on probation, and part of the probation is NOT to talk t...

im 18, but still in high school, dont have a job, but working on a becomming a nurse along with graduating high school, and im in a stable relationship with a "commited" boyfriend.. but who knows what the future holds with those. I also have a great relationship with both of my parents...but I have these urges to have a baby or to get pregnant. iv always LOVED kids and working with them or baby sitting or playing or teaching. i always knew i wanted kids. and my mom said when i was in my mid 20s i was going to have these crazy urges to have kids esspecially with the way i love kids. im really afraid i mgith have a kid NOW. because i think they are already starting... i dont know if anybody has ever had one of these urges. i know it...

.. my subject explains it. i havhe a 14 year old best friend who is due with a baby in july. i have no idea wut 2 do shes keeping it her mom kicked her out she lives with her dad who doesnt care about her. my mom doesnt want me hanging around her becuz shes preg and made a bad choice but ive also had sex 2 times and didnt get preg. she only did once and the condem broke. how do i help her ?

Scared that I'm a second rate parent

My husband is a wonderful father and partner. Our child is coming up fast to 2 years old and we have another one on the way. I have just turned 20 years old.
The problem is, is that from the instant our son was born, he just got it and well...I didn't, and I still don't.
Is just knowing that I will inevitably get things wrong, but as long as I make sure the children know that whatever I do is done with the best of intentions and that I would do anything for them enough? I'm just scared of seeming second-rate.
Any help is more than appreciated.
