Tropical hut

Hey everyone! well my room is tropical and i really want a little tropical, tiki hut kinda thing. But the problem is, my room is not very big and i want a short one and not to wide. I would use it as a kinda hang out for when friends come over. i would also put a couple of pillows on the ground so we could sit on them under the hut. also i would put those little hang lights around it and under the hut put a little table for drinks or magazines or something. so does anyone know where i could find one not to tall but not to wide eaither??? thanks!!!!! love ya all!!!!!
p.s. i would also need a base w/ it. thanks!

At work we have this wall we decorate for each holiday. The manager asked me to decorate it for halloween. I am but i dont really have any ideas. I work at cvs and we have the basic decorations like the lights and cottn cobwebs and etc. I can sort of draw. Please give me any ideas you can come up with.

Wood Panelling Nightmare!

So I'm renting a house with friends, and somehow I ended up with the only room in the house with tacky, cheap fake wood panelling. It's kind of ugly, and I'm allowed to paint my room. I'm just concerned that it'll end up looking like painted panelling... but I don't have the time to spend filling in all the cracks. Has anybody else had to deal with something like this? I need ideas!

halloween party

ok every year i have a haloween party and i invite around 15-20 people.i need some good decorating ideas.(we go all out in the decorating department)games,food,movies anything will help!!!we have a preety big house and i would lilke to decorate the whole thing.

Hey everyone. I really want to do my room in a tropical hawwain kinda theme. I've been to websites like pbteen.com, wakeupfrankie.com and stuff like that. But everything is too expenceive. I want to put effort into buying things but I don't want to spend all of my money on like, 2 things. Please Help!!!! If anyone knows where I can get some cheap (and cute!!!) topical things, please tell me! thanks!!!

I really want to decorate my room in an hawian kinda theme. I don't live in hawaii or anything, I just like the look of palm trees and stuff. Well, I was wondring where I can get some cheep things. Eaither on the internet or at a store. I have a few things from Claire's and Icing. But I barly have anything from there. Thanks!!!!!

i just bought this really cute comforter called "fifi" from bed bath and beyond and its like paris themed. and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what i could do to my room to add onto that. i'm thinking of paintings so if anyone can think of a picture that would fit into the paris theme, please let me know! thanks!

I'm looking at redoing my room ... i want it to be like a club (so strobe lights and everything) i got 300 dollars set aside ... does any one have any ideas of what i could do to make it look really cool? websites would help to.

I have just moved house and now have a new bedroom to decorate. The room is medium-sized, with a low ceiling, small window with a reddish, wooden, slatted blind and two built-in wardrobes (and therefore two large doors on one wall). I am 18, female, my taste is more classic than modern and I like a more consistent than striking or contrasting look in terms of interior spaces. I would like a feminine but classy look that I won't become sick of within the next five years, and definitely not too dark as the room isn't large enough to support it. In the room already are furniture made from a rich, reddish wood and two potted plants that look like small, delicate palm trees. I need a new dresser so my mom showed me a really cool site with lots of inexpensive furniture. She said that if I want a new dresser, I'd have to sell some of my old stuff on the same site. Here's the dilemma: I found a couch and a chair on this site that are $150 for both! They're made out of denim, and that's the theme for my room. I have about $120 so my mom would only have to lend me $30 and pick it up for me (it's only 20-30 minutes away). She said no and that I need to focus on the dresser. What should I do? Someone else will buy them soon.
