A suitable wiki? (Experience with wikis appreciated.)

I'm part of a small community that's looking into getting their own wiki, and I'm their local tech person. Any recommendations on wiki software? I've already got a few possibilities in mind, but it's so hard to choose.
My criteria is something easy-to-use (WYSIWYG would be good, but not essential) and not too confusing. Search, page history, user groups/levels, and uploads are essential. An in-built or addon discussion module would be great, as would be easy customisation of looks. Wiki software would have to be either Perl or PHP, flat-file based or perhaps MySQL.
I've been using PMWiki as a personal wiki, but I'm interested if there are better alternatives out there -- currently considering OddMuse, DokuWiki,...

Music codes

Okay, so, you know how people on xanga.com have, like, music code sites where they have codes for people to put on their xanga? How can you make the codes yourself? Can you use music that's on your computer and host it on a website? How would you do that?

Classes or IDs? (CSS)

Is one better than the other in CSS design, or does it depend on the design? I always use classes, and have not really seen the benefits of IDs, so... what _are_ the advantages of using IDs as opposed to classes?

ok thats the video i have in my myspace profile (with brackets changed so it shows up here) now i am trying to get it to autoplay, i put in the AUTOPLAY="TRUE" into the code myself becasue thats how i did every other time i put up a video, but it isnt working with this. does anyone know how to have a video from youtube autoplay?

macromedia shockwave player

whenever i want to play a game on my computer that requires macromedia shockwave player, it doesnt go on at first, but then a screen comes up saying it is downloading it. after a few seconds though, a thing comes up that says "network error. please check your internet connection and try again" and then i can never play the game. my internet is working though, so i dont know why it says i have no internet connection. it has also said i have no internet connection with some other stuff that i have tried to download off of the internet. i don't know why it's saying this, because i am on internet explorer. is there any way to fix this? thanks.

on myspace i am trying to hide the bottom links [under the comments]. i tried using a code from www.myspacesupport.com but it won't hide the links. does anyone know a website that has a code that works?

Hey Guys,
I have an old myspace account I really want to delete ( it has personal info about me on it, before I knew about all the molestings and stuff linked to myspace ) However, I forgot the e-mail/password I used to make that account so I can't log into it.
It there anyway I can get that information, its important I delete this account. Thanks <3

This may sound a little stupid bit i dont know what to do. For what me and my friend did,we might of caused everyone in our school to get their myspace accounts caceled! It all happend when my friend made this fake girl named Alison a profile. She did it so this boy that is a total loser who is obbsesed with me could start liking her and not me anymore. He liked this "girl" Alison soo much that he gave her his adress,number, and wanted to meet her so he could take her out! Hez so stupid! What if it was like a 40year old guy!EEEWW! So he gave her(really me and my friend) his password and we changed his profile and wrote pretty funny stuff and changed his password,lol. Anyway,now he was obbsesed with her, and at school that is all ...

on myspace is there a way were you can hide the number of friends you have and the link where you can click to view all ofur firneds. so there is no way someone canview all ofur friends and how many you have.. even if there onw of ur friends on myspace?! thank-you
