Religion Project

Posted Saturday March 3 2007, 9:22 pm

There is a research project on five religions:

Buddhism
Christianity
Hinduism
Judaism
Islam

I have to find:

1. The symbol
2. Nation or origin
3. Founder (if applicable)
4. Holy books (if applicable)
5. Place of worship
6. Beliefs and practices (min of 6)
7. Map showing location of the religion

For each religion that is.

I was wondering if anyone knew any sites [good, reliable sites] that could help me find any of the information I listed above. NO wikepedia PLEASE!

Thank you so much for any help! I'll love you forever and ever

Is this considered cheating on a paper.

Posted Saturday March 3 2007, 8:43 pm

One of my friends has a paper due this Friday. She's done ALL of the research and the two of us watched the two movies that relate to it. She asked me for help writing it and I said sure. She's a year older than me, but I'm pretty good at writing papers minus the mechanics. So if she were to write it, I were to rewrite what she writes and make it sound smarter (possibly cutting out a lot of stuff she writes and adding it stuff that I think would be better), and then she were to fix my mechanical errors, would that be wrong? I know it wouldn't neccessarily be cheating, but in the long run would it be wrong.

In our eyes it just seems like me proofreading and telling her what to fix, but it also kind of seems like I'm screwing h...

funraising.

Hey everyone.

Well our choir instructor wants us to do a bunch of fundraising. The thing is the stuff that he picks is very boring and typical that we don't want to do it and he gets mad about it.

Like bottle and can drives and selling cookie dough and such.

Does anyone have some good and FUN fundraising we can do?

Russian Foreign Policy

Posted Thursday March 1 2007, 7:57 pm

I have a semester-long research assignment (broken up into a few assignments) on foreign policy; I've chosen Russia. My next assignment deals with:
a) political system, b) foreign ministry,
c) military, d) intelligence, e) national security policies, etc..

It's a heavy load, and I have a deadline coming up.

If anyone is familiar with Russian politics (both domestic and international), foreign policy,etc...:
Can you please suggest some sources on any of the above points? Or maybe if you have any comments or suggestions, that would be great! Thank you
