I would like to contact any computer programmer out there to help me in my project. I would not ask you to make a website for me, but rather, I would just ask you some tips or perhaps ideas in making it. I badly need help. :((

Creating A Website

For our final project in our computer class, we are asked to create an interactive but also learning site using our knowledge on HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. Our group was quite confused on what project to make because we have ideas, but we realize that these ideas for the project is difficult to do. I would like to ask for possible interactive website ideas that may be simple but worth it. Please do include a website wherein we could read more about making a simple website. Thanks...
P.S. I need an answer as soon as possible. The proposal deadline is fast approaching. Thank you.

Picture display in Firefox vs IE

Hello everyone,
I have a question about a website I am setting up. In it, I display a model that I built in Word and then converted to a jpg.

Now, the model displays pretty much perfectly when viewed in Internet Explorer and horribly in Firefox (the writing is very unclear).
I am at a loss. I tried all manner of resolutions, different picture formats (in fact the current incarnation may not even be a jpg - however they all display the same), converting the image in different programs, etc. No matter what, I cannot get it to display legibly in Firefox yet it always displays...

Internet connection problem (i'm using a D-LINK modem)

I'm not being able to fix this problem . My modem 's DSL lamp only lights and also the WLAN also lights but the Internet doesn't light . So what should I do ???

What does TTC mean or stand for online?

I was reading about some stuff on getting pregnant and a bunch of people were using ttc when they were responding to some forum postings. What does TTC stand for on the internet? Here is an example copy and pasted:
"My hubby & I have been TTC for 4 months & had the same prob. a couple weeks ago. BABY*DUST"

Is there I reason why there isn't a "See Friendship" button on this one kid's Facebook? The option is there for everybody else's Facebook that I go to, but it's not there for him.

Face Book Privacy

I am trying to make my face book really private because I just found out that my job has Facebook and I don't really want them to look at my page. So far it apears to be pretty private (from looking at the preview) but I don't want the page to show my "likes" either. Like right now someone could look at my page and see "Activities and Interests" and they can also see "Arts and Entertainment" What's the point of making my profile private if they can just click on Activities and Interests and see what I am into hahaha so if anyone knows how to make this, specifically the Activities and Interests part go away and only be seen by friends, that would be great. Please give specific instructions. Thank you.

I want to create a type of site...

I'm a huge Metal Gear Solid fan, and a bunch of friends and myself wanted to create a site that was similar to "My Life is Average/HarryPotter/etc.", only it be "My Life is MGS". I'm not too good at building websites, and I'm having trouble finding out exactly what host I should use, etc. Any tips?

Copy write/music on You Tube Videos

Sometimes I see people put songs on their YT videos and they are songs like maybe lady gaga or bush or green day or something and maybe their video goes viral...do they have copy write problems...in example, if i wanted to make a video with my dog, and my dog was going to dance to britnay spears, and the video went viral, would I have a copy write problem? Could I get sued? I would really like to make some fun videos with my animals and use music and maybe they could go viral...but I don't want to take the risk of having any problems, so if I can't do this it would be great if you could offer suggestions of what I could do instead...with my pets and music in the videos that is :)Thank you, oh also, if it's like a britnay spears song but it's the instrumental, is that ok? ok thanks again.

how do you make a youtube video?

i have to post a 5 minute video on youtube...but i have no idea how to even make the video! I have a digital camera that can take short videos, and i was hoping to be able to include some pictures as well. I have a dell computer with whatever basic programs came with it...i don't have any fancy movie software....help please!

acidentally revoked publishing rights from formspring on facebook

Ok so on my facebook everytime i answer a formspring question it links to my facebook and shows up. i accidentally clicked a button that revoked its publishing rights. i want it to start showing when i answer questions again. how do i make it do this?

How to make videos with movie clips ect?

I'm not very good at making videos, I can make normal ones with music, and pictures.. with the movie maker on my laptop..but how do u go by getting t.v show clips, and movie clips in your videos? Any easy ways of doing it thats not illegal?

How and where do I sell my nook ebook reader?

I want to sale my nook I bought it at the end of may, and I do love it. But I don't use it much and I am getting an ipad. So I won't have much use for it. It has two cases, the pink silcone one and the other gray industrial one.. hate to see it go but I don't use it ever.. also I have the 1 year extended warranty.
How should I go about doing this?

Internet vs. Wii

We recently moved the modem and wireless router to the middle of the house so everybody can get a connection. Problem is, it's right next to the wii. Now, whenever we turn the wii on everyone else in the house immediately loses internet. Why is this? And how could we fix this? We also never use the internet on the wii anyway. Please, tell me why it's happening and how this could be resolved. Since it seems like we wasted money on the wii because we cannot play it.
