First time tampon user

I'm on my period and im supposed to go swimming soon. I bought someone tampons , and tried 3 times but it was very uncomfortable and it hurt . What can I do to get used to it ? Did it hurt cause I;m a virgin?

going on swimming vacation i need advice

I'm 12 years old and in one month I'm going on vacation will a guy that has been my best friend since I was 5. we will be swimming a lot in the ocean and in regular pools, and I would use a tampon but I'm scared, because about 2 months ago I went to Hawaii and I used a tampon without any problems, but the next time i went snorkeling about 5 mins after I got out of the water (I was on a boat) there was blood runnning down my leg and everyone saw, so I don't know if tampons are reliable and if the bathroom is close enouph for me to run to at the beach if I have another tampon problem.

So my family is going swimming this Sunday and I just got my period on Thursday. It usually lasts 5 days but I need it to go away before or on Sunday so I can swim and everything without having to feel uncomfortable also because there is no way for me to change a tampon or anything all day! Also this can't invole using birth control pills please because I'm only 13 almost 14.

Irregular Flow

Hi I am 24 I had sex wid my bf in Jan wid a precaution he used a condom n still I took a pill too and 10 dayz later I got. my periods normal flow as usual den in feb again for 1st 3 dayz der was no flow n later days again I got normal periods den same in march in april der was no flow cud nly xperience string like hanging flow durin urination n @ times a lil in d pad too same dis month. I means my periods are regular bt the flow is rely irritating me plz plz help. Ty.

Early period after using next choice

Itook next choice a day or 2 after unprtotected sex and I honestly don't even think it was sex because he didn't cum nd it was inside me for like 10 seconds. But just to be safe I took the day after pill called next choice and today is Wednesday and I'm not supposed to get my period til next tuesday but I just went to the bathroom and I had like dark brown in my panties.. Any idea on what this is? I've been reading online that that day after pills can cause ur periods to come early and late. Also, my period is irregular meaning it never comes on time, but this time I got it early nd this is the first time I ever had "sex" and the first time I ever used an energnecy contraceptive

period and coffee

I am 26 years old and I am a female. People say and I read in a medical book that a girl shouldn't drink coffee or caffeine when she has her period. I was just wondering why sometimes I want coffee when I have my period I am a coffee lover and if I could have any bad health consequeces because of it.Or any suggestions what I should do.

hey! i'm a 21 year old and i got my periods when i was 13. since then my periods have been irregular, sometimes i don't get a period till 5-6 months, i'd consulted a gynecologist some time back she told me that it was hereditary , but im worried about my health? is this normal?

Query on thick brown discharge during period

I am taking contraceptive pills prescribed by doctor for hormonal balance since a month. My periods are due and I am getting brown thick discharge, so can it be considered as first day of period? As I am supposed to start the next cycle of pills on the first day of periods.

tampons

hi last year i tried to use a tampon. i got it in but then i couldnt get it out. i spent all night tryingto get it out. eventually at 5 in the morning i was half asleep (this may sound gross) and my mom pulled it out. it was the worst night of my life. this year i tried it again and it went in easier. its still not coming out. i tried everything. What should i do? is this normal? will i ever be able to use tampons?

I m 24yrs I am From India i have regular periods bt since last 4 months my flow has reduced i mean the 1st 3 dayz of my periods i get flow tht too just like a thick/minute thread like nly durin urination and on the 5th day onwards my flow gets normal and so on so wotz d prob? kindly help

Bleeding while on depo shot?

im not really sure whats going on. i have been on the depo birth control shot for almost four years now and i have only had one normal period and it was after my first shot. i havent had a period since then until about three months ago.. i was late for my shot about four months because i didnt have health insurance.the whole four months i didnt have any spotting or anything until the fourth month of missing the shot. the period only lasted about four days. i got my shot on the third day of bleeding because i cant stand periods. went about two and a half months with no bleeding, but now im bleeding again. i was just wondering if i was just stressing myself out and thats what causing me to have a period? the cramps are horrible. i double over...
