So all summer long my moms been complaining about how I haven't gotten a job.
I'm getting really sick and tired of listening to her constantly complain and belittle me because she's jealous that I'm on summer vacation and get to stay home while she works.
Every summer she treats me like crap and it's pretty much like being grounded for 3 months and i'm tired of sitting around because she never lets me leave the house and listening to her scream and whine and complain about how I "never do anything" and she even told me earlier it pisses her off to see me not working when she is and that just seeing my face or hearing me talk makes her angry.

I am a 13 yearold girl who loves clothes, shoes and all that stuff. :) I need a job and modeling would be really fun and exciting cause I love to try on clothes. Modeling for magazines and websites. Runway would be a little too much and scary for me but if anyone knows good places to or how to get started. That would help and is appreciated. (: the closet big city to me would probably be Boston, MA. so if anyone knows some places or some people that are for real. Please give me there name, what they need, how i can meet them, if there's a cost and everything else needed to know about it. Thanks ! :)

How do I walk away from a job after physically walking away from it?

I had an interview today for an internship I found on craigslist. However, when I arrived at the given address, the location turned out to be in some extremely shady apartment building. Nobody even answered or buzzed me in when I rang the bell. So, naturally, I went home.
They sent me an email 30 minutes after my interview time asking where I was, and I still haven't replied. What is the polite way of saying that I went home because nobody answered and I'm not interested in the job anymore?

How do I find Out about auditions in disney and nickelodeon?

I would just like to say that I have been trying to find a site that lets me know everytime theres an audition in either disney channel or nickelodeon, But it doesnt have to be near where I live, (Cause what if im outta town and there having auditions)! Does anybody know the site i could find that? Also when I go to a disney or nickelodeon audition what do I need to bring? Or do I dont need to bring anything,? Do i have to pay for anything, like :Going to los angeles if i get the part, or auditioning?: Me and my mom dont want to hire an agent until I have guest starred or am on a show, cause its too much money to hire one in this economy, ALSO: any tips do you want to give me just incase, what if i mess up, how can i tell if the director do...

Relative wants to use my name how do I say no?

So my relatives husband has apparently been looking for a job for a while and cant find one but keeps living in my aunts house, doesnt pay for anything and seems to be able to go on vacation and buy fancy electronics. Point is my b/f just got a new job. Its a labour intensive job lifting heavy items up to 90lbs. She asked me if he can put down my b/f name on his application as someone he knows in the company. Her husband has a serious back problem and cant lift heavy objects, stand or sit for long periods of time. Therefor I know he either wont get the job or get the job and not be very good at it. police officer

Hello I am a 20 year old physically fit woman. I'm very interested in becoming a police officer but I have absolutely no idea how to begin. I'm turning 21 at the end of this month and after this summer is over I would like to begin training to get a job as an officer. How do I start to go about this in the state of Pennsylvania? My brother said there's an officer school but I don't know how to contact them. I don't want to go through a normal college I want to go to a school specifically for police training. Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Internships and requirements

So I'm looking into summer internships (graphic design ones, to be specific) on craigslist, and so far I've found a couple that sound absolutely perfect - with one flaw. They usually list a handful of software that candidates should be "proficient" in, and I'm amazing with Photoshop, Microsoft Office, and Illustrator, but there's always one or two other programs they list that I've never even tried. Should I apply anyway?
Also, other internships I've come across list pursuing a degree in graphic design as a requirement. And I'm a computer science major and digital art and studio art double minor. Should I apply anyway or is lacking a requirement and still applying simply unprofessional?
Any other job tips are also appreciated!

I am a freshman in college now and currently have about 14 years ahead of me for schooling. I would like to be a forensic pathologist but the pay versus the school is a little risky. Along the path however i would recieve a Bachlors from my first college, A Doctorate from the second (Med school) and 4 to 5 years of what they call "residency" for what that is worth. I am seeing the salary for a forensic pathologist vary from $34,000 to begin and $270,000 experienced. And i am wondering is this the right path or is there something better? i do not mind about 15 years of school, no more than that i would eventually like to have a life haha. And i also would like to say that i am hoping to adopt one early teenage child during med scho...

5 week job?

I need some advice.
I need to get some money but I only have about 5 weeks until I leave for vacation during summer. And then after summer i'm going to college and won't be able to get a job then. Do you think I should get a job now? The only problem is that I can only work for 5 weeks maximum.. and it will be my first job. I don't know if its a good idea, but I could really use the money.. Or is there another way to make a lot of money but not fully committed to a long-term job? Please don't mention baby sitter, dog sitter, or lifegaurd. thank you!

I have an interview at Pizza Hut on Saturday and I was wondering what I should wear? Should I wear jeans and a pretty blouse? I don't think shorts are appropriate but I think a dress will be to fancy.

Job shadow that went bad...

So I was job shadowing at the hospital where I live for a pharmacy technician position and naturally I asked lots of questions. One of the questions I asked was "have you had problems with people stealing drugs and what happens if they get caught" apparently this question was a no no. About an hour later I was told that they were concerned about the 'questions' I was asking and that I could never job shadow at that hospital again.
Would this be a normal reaction at any other pharmacy?
Did they just overreact?
What I'm really wondering is, I kinda want to become a pharmacy technician but because this happened I'm a bit concerned. I asked one question and was treated like a criminal. Was I just being ...

Hello I am a 16 year old male and I recently applied to a McDonalds near where I live. The application made me really sad at the sort of questions they asked and I just feel like there is a much better way I could be spending my time that mindlessly working at McDonalds. My parents want me to get a summer job but I do not really want to work here. Am I being too picky or snobbish. I get straight As and I don't know it just seems like a waste of my time. Writing this now it seems elitist but it is how I feel. Any advice on this matter would help. Be critical of me too it will only help me.
