Endurance Running Tips 24/f

I love to run. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (basically widespread chronic pain for those uninformed), and exercise induced asthma, and am medicated for both, but it still sucks, and these problems get in the way.

I've been running nearly every other day since August, after a year off working out completely. I used to be able to run 5k in under half an hour, but that's the farthest I've ever run. I've always fashioned myself more of a sprinter, though. I'm very fast, but I can't seem to maintain. I'd like to change that.

I've tried limiting my speed - on a treadmill, I've been setting my jog speed to 6mph, which is almost uncomfortably slow for me, as I usually run at 6.5mph, but I've noticed more abili...

I'm 11 years old in fifth grade (I know I'm young don't say anything about that please) I am a cheerleader and I do softball I have been doing that for a while now but I don't see changes in my body shape I don't eat alot but I'm not on a diet can anyone tell me how long I should exercise a size and how long it will take days weeks months i need answers just to say I'm 5'3 and way 112.2 Im not skinny but slim but all my friend user be fat but they force there sect to throw up I don't want todo that cuz its bad please help..

I'm 19 f; I'm 5 foot and I weigh 220 pounds.

This is the biggest I've ever been. I've always been chubby, but my stomach isn't that bad. It's mostly my face, and my thighs. I'd like to make my stomach more firm so it isn't flabby but anyways.

I'm joining a gym and I'd like to know what excerises are the best? They have a pool and yoga and stuff; so any tips?


Also, anyone know of any successful diets that actually show results? And have a list of foods that I can eat, and times that I should eat?

I'm also taking a pill called Phentomine; my doctor prescribed it to me; when I was last one it, it curved my appietite and helped me lose 40 lbs; once I stopped, I gained it back p...

I'm a super active, sporty 12 year old female who's always exersizing. So I really want to know how to get abs and muscular fast! I need a good way. I also need good diet ideas like what to yiu eat and what not to eat. Oh and don't tell me I'm to young to go on a diet! So I need ways to get in the best shape I can be in, how much I need to exersize, what i should eat, how to get a six pack and not have acne. That's five things. Please everyone answer i just want to see your suggestions and there's no right or wrong answers to me! I rate 5's to for those that take the time to answer :)

How much exercise needed to help lose weight?

I'm 230 lbs, 5'8, about a size 20 or 18 depending on brand, typically a 20, though. My goal is to get down to 155 pounds. I know I need to exercise, but the question is, how MUCH is needed?

If I were to do an ab workout, pushups, squats, lunges, and go for a brisk walk every day would that be enough, partnered with eating less?

I do those things (and cardio Tues and Thurs, like running) every week day in P.E., and I did lose 10 pounds, but I am eating the same amount as ever and have hit a plateau.

So... if I were to keep that same routine and eat less, would I start losing again? Or would I need to intensify the routine, too?

Okay. So I'm drinking green tea, drinking lots of water, eating 1200 calories per day, doing interval training, and sometimes I eat food with sugar, like a piece of candy but not a lot. Will that affect my diet? Will I be able to lose weight? If I eat a piece of candy will it ruin my diet? [:

I'm trying to lose a little weight like 10-20 lbs. I usually eat a bowl of cereal and a banana for breakfast and a coffee, a soup or chicken salad for lunch and dinner varies, usually something not too bad though. i really don't snack alot if i do its usually like apples and peanut butter or hummus and pretzel sticks. i go to the gym basically everyday and run about 4 miles which usually burns around 500 calories. is this a good way to lose weight or is it bad to run that much? i'm in pretty good shape so it really isn't hard on me but i just want to know if thats a good way. thanks. I'm also 19/f 142 lbs 5'4".

I hear that body fat % is the main indicator of having defined abs. I think that below 15% body fat will show 6 pack abs. Im 5'10" and 145 pounds right now and my stomach is just flat and not really all that defined.

Bodybuilders say that it doesnt matter how much you lift weights or work out your stomach and do crunches because everyone has a 6 pack underneath the layer of fat around their stomach. So having abs is all about burning fat through cardio. I just dont get how I can be so skinny and keep losing weight but not have a 6 pack.

Whats wrong with me? Is my bodyfat% still too high because I only eat like 1000 calories a day and run about 3 miles every morning (which burns around 500 calories). I dont get it.

In you're opinion, if a high school girl that is 17 and 5'8 weighs 160 pounds, does she need to lose weight? If so, How much weight?
Let's also say this girl doesn't workout as much as she probably should (only goes on walks and plays the wii Zumba game) ...but she eats fairly healthy and used to have an issue severely restricting her calorie intake.
What are you're thoughts?

am on a diet but yesterday I have a bag of baked cheetos!! did this ruin my progress?

Yesterday I ate some baked cheetos and then I ate some more and ate the whole bag, the bag was big. Now I feel bad for eating them and I was eating healthy before I ate them. I just want to lose at least 15 pounds. Ive been on a diet for 4 days. Do I have to start my diet over today?
