Tonight was the last straw and my Mom said tomarrow morning she's calling someone for me to talk to because she's done with my crap. I did explode tonight... but Im not going to someone to talk to "because they care" when they obvously dont considering there gettying paid awesome money. Why waste my parents money for my to sit in a room... and listen to some guys words. She would rather send me to some guy so she wont have to deal with the facts SHE SUCKS AS A MOTHER! I told my Dad off tonight because he was being an asshole and I told him he didn't love me because if he did he would atleast try to quit smokeing. He's reocvering from a heart attack but has changed nothing in his life. Im not goign to some fucking therapist because...

i was looking for a headband in my sister's drawers, and while i was going through it, i discovered a ziplock bag contained with sterile water in a blue case, a metal round spoon and lots of empty pistols with needles. I have told my mom about it and she is suspicious of whether she is on drugs or not but we don't really know much about it, like what people use when they do drugs or anything like that. Could she be doing drugs?

Why where they not put straight in care?

We know a couple with three children, 1 girl around 5 and 3 and 1 year old boys. Recently we have found out the children have been put under a child protection act. The dad picked the little girl up and dunked her head in the toilet, the little girl told her teacher and she contacted soical servecis etc. I found what he did uttely appaling and am wondering why the children were not put in care. please help me understand

I hate my family

So I have huge problem. I'm almost 17 years old and I have a baby sister who is two and she's spoiled rotten. the problem is I can't do anything without her screwing it up. for example, today I had bought a present for one of the seniors on my softball team. we're supposed to turn them in tomorrow at senior night, so I wrapped the present and put it away, thinking that my sister never find it where I hid it. A half hour later my mom comes in and hands me the remains of what's left. Now I have nothing to give her and my baby sister is afraid to come near me because I yelled at her. and this kind of thing happens everyday, I come back and find my backpack completely empty and everything thrown out onto the floor and hallway. I am 14/f and my sister is 17/f. My mom and dad always say that they love me, but whenever me and my sister fight, they take her side and i get in trouble. I know right now i may seem like a bratty kid but hear me out. So i went in her room to get MY dress and she got pissed, told my mom, and I got grounded because i went to get MY dress SHE stole. How is that fair? They also take my hard earned chore money and give it to her who has a job but uses her money to buy beer and drugs. My mom is always mistreating my dad. You can tell she's discontented, but honestly that is her problem. She chose to marry my dad and he tries his best. He just got over his depression and she is there to pull him out of every good mood that follows. This relationship makes me unhappy and very sympathetic for my dad. I've said so much, but she is immune to anything I say. She refuses to go to family counseling. I'll admit, my family doesn't have any baggage rooting from the past, but there is no point of being in a relationship if you aren't going to appreciate the person. Help...how can I change her outlook?

avoiding an argument with my mother

I have been trying to keep as calm as possible .I think I have a lot of self-control for a person who is so angry. All I want to do is sit in a corner and cry. My mother and I have always, generally, had a very good relationship. She and I have been the best of friends always. But now, it seems as if she is my worst enemy. I am seventeen right now, and I believe that at seventeen, this should not be happening, or at least, start happening. I understand that these types of conflicts happen with parents and teenagers, but I assumed this happened at a younger age, and that I was home free. Usually, by seventeen, I thought things started to get better for teens and their parents. Well, it’s definitely not that way in this case.

Driving/Dad/Drama

Basically, I am a 15 yr old freshman, turning 16 and will be a sophmore soon. I have my permit and I am currently taking driver's ed. Prepare... because this is going to be long.
School is almost ending. Drivers ed is only one semester, i passed the first semester with an A because it was just bookwork. Now, it's driving. First of all, my teacher is completely mean and strict. He loves to yell and will get any chance to yell at me, even when I am the best student in his class... not when it comes to driving though. I happen to be a great student so the fact that I'm going to fail this class is new for me. My teacher expects us to know how to drive and I DONT KNOW HOW. My mom and I have not had a good relationship my whole life. I've always lived with my grandparents exept for sometimes my mom wated me to stay with her and I did but it never lasted long. Now she lives in the basement at my grandparents house but stays at her boyfriends apartment a lot of the time. I thought we have been getting along for the last few months but lately she has been getting really mad really easy. I don't see her hardly ever anymore and when I do see her she thinks of a way to make me seem like I did something wrong and I'm such a bad kid and I'm honestly not, my grandma always tells me how good I am for being a 16 year old girl. Im going to make a HUGE story short. My parents have been fighting for over 10 years and didnt even sleep in the same bed. NOW FINALLY they split in january my dad left without givivng anyone notice and screwed us over big time leaving us HUGE BILLS to pay. we were never great financially and now we are worse. me and my sis have been helping my mom...$200, $300, or $500 a month whateer we can afford. What should I do? I can't take my family anymore. No one talks to each other...I'll elaborate in steps of a typical night:
1. I get home from school.
2. Mom gets home from work (comes in says hello and thats it)
3. Brother gets home and tells me to F!@# myself and calls me a "homo"
4. I go up to my bedroom because of them
5. Step dad gets home, goes into basement... no one says anything to him but my mom... about five minutes later he'll be on his blackberry, emailing people from work
6. Everyone goes to their own part of he house Me: my bedroom Brother: his room Mom: kitchen/bedroom/goes out Stepdad:basement (Tv)

I'm going to tell you a bit about the guy first.
He's a goth, not because he listens to death metal and so on, he's always been like that, he's not a poser. Naturally he wears eyeliner and so on. He's a weird kid too. He dropped out of school (long story) and now he's at home with his dad. His dad doesn't give a shit so the guy (Andy) does what ever the fuck he wants. He isn't home schooled, but he's studying how to pierce and also studies languages.
Three months ago he was at a concert, and he got incredibly drunk and started a fight with a random guy. The guy got his friends on Andy and he got the living shit kicked out of him.

My mother has 2 more kids. My older brother and younger sister. I always felt since we were little that she favored my brother and sister over me. For example, she would treat them nicer and buy them more things. She is my biological mother. She was never really supportive of me only when it would benefit her as far as make her have a good reputation or if it would benefit her financially. 16/f. I feel extremely hurt right now. Ok, so my mom basically defends my dad in any situation whatsoever, even if he's wrong. That includes defending him in fights between me and him. I used to get into a lot of fights with my parents but now that's kind of been reduced because I've learned to not overreact to things and just to be the better person in the situation. My dad gets into a lot of cranky moods. He'll be really nice sometimes and cranky other times. My mom knows he's always cranky and admits it. The thing is, he always takes his moods out on me-almost on a daily basis. me and my stepdad fight all the time, my mom always takes his side even though he is unreasonable. he tells my mother how to parent me and raise me even though i am 16 years old. it makes me so mad how he patronizes me and treats me like im 5, my mom pretends not to notice. i hate it..... ive tried talking to her all she does is tells me he loves me and that i should listen to him.

Are my inlaws being unfair?

Me and my hubby have always wanted to go to the beach. But never really had the money. last summer before my mother in law went she asked if we wanted to go. We told her yes but we dont have the money. Well my father in law agreed to pay for our hotel and all. A week after we got back he asked my hubby for all of the money back. Even though he didnt tell us before we went we had to pay him back. We finally got him paid back.
My sis in law can do the same but she dont have to pay back a dime. She can afford the whole trip too.
This is just one example. This has been going on for years and its just plain unfair.
What should I do?
