how can i be better at giving advices?

i like being there for my friends, ill try to listen and give advice when my friends are in trouble. but the thing is im not good at advice because im more of a listener so its not really helping my friends so i feel really bad when it wont solve their problem,people say i dont need to fix their problem i know that, but i wanna at least know what to say when they're in trouble how can i be better at giving advices?

ive known my new friend for 3 months and we get along and everything, but the thing is we seem to have an awkwardness when we talk, most of the time, like we never know what to talk about kinda feeling is this normal or no?

Ok, so one of my friends went out with a very beautiful girl and i began to like her. I was not aware that he still likes her and i recently found out. But he would not admit it to me everytime i asked him. I do not know if i should not take any actions because she tells me all the time im cute or i dress the best or im hot and all this stuff but i do not think it is right because he is one of my close friends and he acted like he doesn't care so what do i do?

i have been friends with taylor on and off for more than two years. me and a few frriends will stay over her boyfriends house on weekends and part there random weekdays too. we always have a lot of fun, we are all exactly alike and just wild teenagers and twenty yearolds. i was shopping with our friend melissa last night and she told me thattaylor told her a story of how one day taylor was in stop and shop and when she came out i put condoms all over her car as a joke and she had to pick all of them up..., never happened. she also told melisaa that one time i put a bumpersticker on her car that said somehting funny.. never happened. and she also tellls me she has her nipples pierced but she tells me not to tell anyone else. so she clearly...

I met this friend when we were 14 (25 now)and we were really really close for a few years, but I felt like she was using me, then we went our separate ways for about 8 or 9 years. Well a few years ago we started hanging out together and everything was fine for a while, but now she never wants to hang out and she never calls unless she wants something. I bend over backwards for this friend, and I don't mind doing things for her, but I just feel like she's using me again. I honestly don't want to be friends with her anymore, but I feel REALLY guilty because we've gone through this before and this woman, she's had a really hard life. what is it mean to "be there for someone"? and how do you be there for someone? is it considered being there for someone if your friend didnt go to you for advice but you came to them and you ask them what's wrong and they tell you whats wrong with them?

Ok, I've got a few friends who's parents abuse them. I don't feel like I should report it or anything because it's there choice whether they'd like to stop it or not and I wouldn't feel right intruding on their family's issues. They usually just tell me not to tell anyone, so instead I help them through it by kind of being everyone's "counselor" I guess you could say. I give them advice and help them out and stuff. Well, recently me and the rest of our sports team were in the locker room and my best friend was talking about how she hated her dad so much (she is abused as well). Then another of my friends speaks up and says "well at least your parents don't hit you!". Now, at this, I had to respond "neither do your's...

I truly don't know where to start with this.
I would like as many opinions as possible.
and I'm sorry, but it's long and a bit scattered, so please bear with me.
I have a best friend who I've known since I was 5. I am now 20 years old. I am female and he is male (he is 19 and we will call him "M"). 2 years ago, he told me he liked me, but at the time I had a boyfriend - and I still do now (different guy from 2 yrs ago) who's now actually my fiance (we will call him "B").
I told "M" I didn't like him in *that* way and thought we would be better as friends. It didn't seem to affect our friendship after that. He still told me he liked me, but knew nothing was going to come of it...

Ok well the Raj(ex) problem still stands at the moment .BUt now also my other ex is makin me feel so pressured and depressed.He wants me back but i enjoy being ONLY this ones friend.we get along better and he keeps bein so childish and overdramatic and idk wat to do bout it.
Also my supposed "bestfriend" has been ignoring me or not even bothering to call or txt me. a message nothing! it makes me so mad because i have done alot for him.He is gay and I was the person he came out to and I helped him be comfortable with it and he is alot happier now.We have been bestfriends for two years but the past couple months he has been pullin this shit..idk what to do bout it.I feel kinda used ya know?

I don't know what to do!!!
My friend Lo is really bitchy. She bitch about us in MSN and we're nice to her. She just thinks we ignore her a lot but she was just the one who doesn't talk and never tries. Lately it's getting worse and worse and this has been going on for about 1 month now. She's happy, she's sad. She spends most of her days crying and sobbing OOOH MY LIFE SUCKS! But she was the one who never tries. After a few weeks of this we were getting tired. Tired of her mood swings and bitching. ok sooo yea my boyfriend and me took a break in december and he made out wit some girl.......she knew we were together but i guess she thought we werent anymore......so they made out and went out! my supposed bff was encouraging him i still havent forgave him but we are still together!!!! my boyfriend and her are always hanging out and then he is always ohh she is cool unlike u and ur friends ohhh she loves my family.............and she is just a bitch!!!!! what can i do???

my friend is the biggest liar ever. her name is sarah. she did something recently, that is so close to unforgivable. it's really long so i won't go into detail and way to confusing. but basically to make it extremely short she went behind my back and my other friends back, and stabbed us both. what she did, was just so incredibly low.
Anyway, when we found out, she said she was sorry and would stop lying to us and wouldn't do what she did anymore. well, the other day, her other friend found out about it and asked her what happened, and she told her that it never happened and didn't know what she was talking about!!!
So she is continuing to lie. she is also lieing about really weird stuff. like her mom died alon...

I have known Carolyn my whole life basicly. When I stayed back in the 6th grade i started going over her house to do my homework and everything. She knows like everything about me. HElp....
I met this girl a year ago and we weren't really that close... Last summer we were stuck in a group project in summer school. Honestly I didn't like her THAT much to begin with.. I mean I had to be group leader and deal with everything and eventually DO everything which pissed me off... and I know I should distinguish between work and friendship but honestly I saw habits that I don't want in friends... anyway... I KNOW for a fact some of the reasons she picked me out of all six members to be my "friend" i didn't mind cause usually I am nice and tolerant and I thought I could set limits with her...
