Step Bro

I have a step brother that is 5 and we see him alot since incidentally we live next door to my dad and step mom (weird i no...) and every time he sees my mom pull in the drive way he shouts her name and only wants her and ignors me. same with if he is playing with my brother he only wants him. I dont know if he doesnt like me or what? What can i do so he will want me instead?

Well I posted something here a while ago about someone breaking into our house. Well when I walked home today, someone that lives on my street gave me this really dirty wallet asking if it belonged to my dad. He was getting his hedges cut when he found it in the hedges. I took out the first card I saw in it and it was my health card!
I said thank you and immediately went home and told my dad what happened and gave him the wallet and told him to call the police like right NOW.
He just said no and just took out the cards that he canceled, threw them away, and put the wallet on the window sill and walked away.
I was like "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? CALL THE POLICE!" But he kept saying no and was ...

okay. so heres the deal. for the past couple of years, my brother has just been going "down hill". About 2 years ago, my sister was visting and she found pot in my brothers room. He was punished for a while about it and then it was droped, well, i never believed that he had stopped even though he said that he did. So when he was gone i would go in his room, and find pot laying on the floor. He wasnt even trying to hide it anymore. Well i showed it to my dad and basically didnt do anything and everytime something is found he still doesnt. A couple of weaks ago i found some bottles of cough syrup and cough medicine that was all gone. He had been skipping school, quit his job and everything. Now my dad pays for his gas, and anythin...

My dad and his temper

16/f..My dad (47) lashes out at me for sometimes no reason or just the tiniest things. If something MINISCULE drops on the floor, he starts yelling at me, calling me a pig, an idiot..whatever. Today, I wore the wrong type of pants for my volunteer job...and he lashed out at me like never before, blaming me that he's gonna be late to work (when he wasn't even ready himself, he can't keep track of time and blames it on me at the last minute) and on the way there, he kept on mumbling to himself about what an idiot I was..what a bloodsucker I was...how I was a failure in life...And I just think it's completely irrational. okay so my family is really close. it would be with my 2nd cousins that i am talking about. they are from michigan and 3 years ago my cousin decided to go to college in vermont to play hockey... so since we are only like 2 hours away from the college we went up there to see the team play almost every weekend for the past 3 winters. and his mom and dad are always here to watch him play they stay for like 2 weeks and try to see as many games as they can, fly back to michigan and then come back not long after, its great to see them so much because i can remember my mom used to cry when they would come out here or we would go there because it would be about a year before we would see them. but not anymore!!! well my other cousins (my aunt and u...

my mom keeps on trying to put me down, and she doesnt really know me! my friends know me better than her, and trust me, im not saying this out of plain anger. i mean, she knows my favorite foods and all that, but i dont really think she knows much about me. she doesnt get involved in school, and thats not her fault, because she has my little brother and sister to babysit, and of course she treats me good, but anyways, i just hate the way she puts me down now. i tell her im taking the placement test tomorrow for getting into the advanced math class in my school and she tells me that im not going to pass it and now that im going on the computer so much, i wont be able to achieve anything anymore. sure, now that i got my laptop, i do go ...

my 17 year old cousin with autisim is fighting sleep

I have a cousin who is autistic and even though he is 17 he fights sleeps and stays up really late in the night no matter how early his mom gives him his medicine that's suppose to help him sleep and if he's up nobody else in the house can go to sleep and he pitches these fits and screams and yells and he pushes his mom and his granny and iam sick and tired of staying up all night and his mom and granny don't know what to do and when he gets in a fit he could really hurt somebody becouse he's really big what should we do i need to get to sleep early for once please help.

Ever since we moved closer to my family in Indiana my mom never lets me see them. I went this weeked to see them for the first time in like 3 months. I only get to see my dad like two days every 3 months. She won't let me go see him ever. he had to argue with her just to let me stay father's day with him. I have to go straight home after that. She says i have to work...I don't even had a job! She has nothing against my dad i used to stay with him for months at a time before and noiw i barley see him at all. What can i do i feel caged. She does that with my friends to and she now she does it because i've talked to her about it. She just won't let me do anything because she wants me at home with her. What can i do.

my cousin's birthday is on june 28th in about 2 weeks and she will be 39 and i want to get her something for her birthday but the problem is she won't tell me what she wants she says she dosn't want anything but she always gets me something for my birthday every year and if i don't get her something i'll feel bad becouse she always buys me something even when she really can't afford it and another problem is that iam broke and there's no way i can get the money to buy her something in less than 2 weeks time so i want to make her something does anybody have any ideas thanks in advance.

Before i got my computer i would always use my moms and my brothers. Everyone was always telling me to get off thier computer and that it was theirs, and not mine. So finally, a couple of months ago, my garndpa got me a laptop!
Now that i got my laptop, i wouldnt have to use anyone elses. Now people use it without asking, and when i need my own compuuter, or say no (like they did to me)
They throw a hissy fit. I needed my computer for studying today, and my brother pushed me when i told him no i need it for finals, becuase the study guides are online.
what do i do
theres more problems too, but im just confused because now i have my own, for me and me only (and i also dont even mind sharing but they abuse it!)My b...

my boyfriend treats me like dirt

My boyfriend is constantly putting me down, saying that I am fat, and stupid, and he calls me names all the time like b*tch and c*nt. This makes me cry all of the time. And when he sees me crying, he calls me a baby and says I need to grow up. He says he cares about me, but caring means that you help me feel better when I am upset, instead of yelling at me like he does. I can't leave him because we have a 1 yr old son together and plus, if I did leave, I have no where to go, and I can't afford anything. I want to kill myself, but I won't because of my son. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Hey im 17/f my dad signed over his rights when i was about 2 years old. Then i had my moms husband adopt me, but its a long story. But anyways the last time i talked to my dad was when i was about 6. I want to send him a letter letting him know a little bit of stuff about me. But im not really sure exactly what to say or write. He's been in and out of jail a couple times but i think he cleaned up his act. I just need to know what to write in a letter. Please and thank u

Do you think it's right for my sister who is 3 yrs younger (I'm 59) to insist my grandchilren (5&4)call her GRANDMA instead of AUNT? She married my ex-husband 6yrs ago. She has 6 grandchildren of her own! I realize her husband is their grandfather and I divorced him so he says she can do whatever she wants but she is their aunt and they are confused because everyone refers to her as two different people. I have let my feelings be known and I feel it's in bad taste and disrespectful to me but also it's causing problems in my big family. Should I let it go?

My question is about my 33 year old unmarried daughter who is becoming more and more difficult by the day. She does very well financially at her job and appears to have lost perspective even though I am a simple person and have brought her up to enjoy a simple but sophisticated life style.

I have an issue here and I need some advice. I am a second year university student and don't have a lot of money. I do not receive money from my parents and am currently relying on student loans to pay for all of my life and school expenses. Basically, I'm on my own, and a couple unexpected bills have cropped up recently. However, last year I did inherit five thousand dollars (read as: a year's tution) worth of jewelry from my late grandmother.
I know that my father would not want me to sell the jewelry, but he isn't a struggling student, and also isn't doing much to help my situation. Furthermore, other family members may not approve. However, I feel that my grandmother would rather that I have money to use wisely, as I would, than...
