friendship turning into more

I've been friends with this guy for a couple of years now; we get along great, we spend time together whenever we can (we both work full time so it doesn't happen often) but whenever we can, we do.
I know at one point in our relationship he liked me for more than just friends, but now i don't know if he does or doesn't. He has an on again off again girlfriend whom he says he doesn't really care if she's in or out of his life, so as bad as this may sound, the girlfriend isn't really a problem.
so my question is... how do i know if he likes me as more than just friends. I don't want to ask him because what if he doesn't, i wouldn't want to ruin our friendship. So what signs should i be looking for? or what do you suggest i do? i'm so confused.

I have these two friends one wants me to stay the night with them and the other wants to spend the night with me and thay don't really like each other. I don't seen either of them much and ones been my best friend forever and the other only a year I don't know what tod o! HELP!

Well to start off...my best friend, who goes to a different high school than me, has...changed. I mean, she's still very nice and the most kind-hearted person I know and we've been BFFs for almost 6 years now. But, lately she's been doing bad things that she normally wouldn't do. Just a few days ago we were talking to each other on the phone (which we haven't done for almost a whole year now), and I asked how high school is going for her (we're both in freshmen year). She says it's going great and I'm glad she likes it...but what concerns me the most is that she started drinking and skipping a lot of days from school to hang out with her friends. I was really shocked and surprised because she always talks about not doing those things. But w...

well i have been friends for this girl for like ever and we have been besties for this whole year untill this new girl moved here and "stole" her from me. it now seems like i have to complete with this new girl to stay friends.what should i do? i don't wan't to hurt her feelings even tho she's been hurting mine. she kees ignoring me and has been treating me really bad. i really need help right now cuz i don't want to loose this friendship.

so i have this classmate who is dating somone who lives near me but she lives far away. she always asks to sleepover my house, which i now realize is so that she can see him. whenever she sleeps over she she immeadiatly leaves in the morning to be with him and doesnt come back until the night. every time see ditches me to see him and never answers my texts when i ask where she is. She will sleep at my house friday night, leave in the morning until 7, come home and change and go with him to a movie, then come home and go to sleep. we dont really talk besides when she needs to stay at my house. I know i am being used and she does this to a lot of people and i must add that her bf is not very nice to me either. how do we get back at her for this??

sorry its kinda long....
Ok so in the beginning of this year i had class with some girl named chelsea. Me and her started talking. Threw out the month me and her were bestfriends. I knew i could always count on her and i would tell her something and she wouldnt saya nything. So about 2 months later i started dating this guy for 5 months. Chelsea liked my boyfriend lets call him S. so chelsea liked S alot of people did. So towards the end of the 4th month i noticed he was acting wierd. My best friend since like forever won't talk to me! Well I mean she does, but not like she use to. We use to tell each other everything and now she won't tell me what's going on with her. She doesn't talk to me on the phone anymore as much as she use to. I know it's probably something she doesn't want to talk about, but I really want to help her. I should probably drop it. What do you think I should do!?

My boyfriend's mom & sister-in-law have always kind of had a love/hate relationship, I guess. They get mad at each other then make up. I'd never seen it happen, though, until today.
I was at their house & my boyfriend's mom pretty much went off on his sister-in-law for not helping out with the kids (his sister-in-law has 5 kids & his mom & dad pretty much raise them). She was telling her that she wanted to be able to talk to me without having to yell at the kids, but his sister-in-law was just messing with her phone. So, then they pretty much went there seperate ways.

I have a best friend (we've been best friends for a few years now) we always have our moments and she jsut treats me like crap all the time. I can't take it anymore. She doesn't know how to say sorry. She's been with this boyfriend for about 4 months now & he's 6 years older than her and so of course I want to meet him. I have this best-friend from 6th grade and during the summer we only talked on myspace. Then he started ignoring me and when school started I talked to him and asked him why he ignored me and he said things change people change. I was really upset. I know I should just drop it and forget about him, But he was my best-friend. I've tried to forget about him, but when I finally start he talks to me! I get so mad at him when he talks ot me I just ignore him. I've tried to be his friend tons of times and when I don't want to be his friend because I'm finally done thinking about him ha talks to me! I don't know what to do! I don't know whether he wants to be my friend or not! HELP!

Letting people in

I can't seem to be able to let anyone in. As soon as anyone gets close to knowing me, or in anyway just close to me, I push them away. How do I stop shutting people out. I don't talk the person I consider my bestfriend really. I'm a listener not a talker. Theres no use in complaining about my problems, it doesnt do anything. I just want to be able to get close to someone, anyone. How do I do this?

it may be something you cant do or say to change but it still hurts and when your friend dosen't seem like he wants to be friends anymore you wanna question why and you want awnsers but people grow apart and theres nothing you can do about it so...what should you do when somone you believed in suddenly goes Awall and decides he dosent care about the friendshipp and dosent care enough to talk to you or tell you what's going on so you decide to confront him and tell him that mabey the friendship we had for over a year is now over you do this because you cant stand to be pushed aside for the popular girls and you cant really decide if he's worth fighting for soo you be the bigger person and end the friendship Its not that you have fallen for y...

Trouble with getting guy friends

I'm 16 years old & I totally suck at befriending guys. All my friends are girls & i dont have one guy friend at all, its that bad. I go to a all-girls school but i do outside school things like church & going out with my girlfriends (sometimes my girlfriends bring guy friends along, but i never end up talking/being friends with the guys). Firstly, I'm too shy to strike up a conversation and secondly I'm quite an awkward person at times so I wouldn't know what to say if we did have a conversation. Also, is there anything else that's preventing me from befriending guys? Thankyou!

Well this might be just a little confusing...But I have this Friend (a guy) and ive known him For a year exacly. last year i met him and he was this shy, scared looking nineth grader (i was in 11th grade) we became friends, Good friends We used to hang out almost everyday and talk for hours and well like i said it's been a year and in that year he has become somone i dont even know anymore it's like were strangers he makes me feel like we never met at all...He recently started hangging out with these girls he has never once talked to before and now...i also hear that he "might" be dating this girl he has known for only a few short months I used to know him like nobody else did and it makes me madd (im NOT Jelous) ive been accused ...

So I've had problems with socializing over the past...eh...year?
The last time I hung out with friends outside of school was last year.
We hung out two Friday nights in a row & they never mentioned it to me again...keep in mind, these are still my friends.
Yeah.
Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how I can make friends outside of school because you know how highschool is. There are cliques that are already established by sophomore year & once you leave one, it's heard to really get in with another. Yeah, that's where I am.
I'm planning on getting a job this summer. This doesn't totally answer the question, though, because I'm the shyest person I've met...ever. So, recap...my questions are:

animosity between two people close to me

Hi,
22/m here. I have two friends. Let's call them Craig and Alex. I've known Alex longer, but Craig and I are closer and are practically best friends. Craig and Alex didn't know each other before though. I'm the connecting link in between.
Anyway, so I try to hang out with both of them together and maybe all 3 of us can be friends. Craig is really shy, but he's been loosening up a bit around Alex. Last week though, we were just joking around and stuff and Alex made a crack at Craig that made Craig upset. Alex doesn't know he made Craig upset and i'm 100% sure that wasn't his intention. I think Alex is just getting comfortable having Craig around so he's joking around with him even more to kind of help us all ...

i have a huge problem...
and it's pretty long but i hope someone can help because i don't think i've ever hurt this bad in my life.
ok so here's the deal. two weeks ago, my best friend and two other girls went tanning. i was under the impression that i was supposed to go, but apparently they "didn't have room" but no one told me anything, i just assumed i was still going until it got too late to go. we kind of all got into some tension about that, and i felt like they just didnt want me to go. so i felt shut out.
then they accused me of stealing my best friends purse, which i would NEVER do. can you understand where i felt like they didnt want me around?

Two Different Groups

I'm stuck in between two different friends. I've been best friends with one of them for about 2 years and best friends with the other for a little less than a year. My best friend of two years doesn't exactly approve of me having another best friend. I don't know what to do! Should I leave my best friend of two years for a friend that I trust less, or should I stop being best friends with my best friend of two years because she is trying to limit me?
