USB Port HELP! (Computers)

I pluged my ipod into the USB port and my ipod was broken so it like screwed up my computer and evenn though its out of the USB not not connected AT ALL it keep smaking that noise as if i reconncted it or ejected it. it wont stop! How do i fix it?
(plus sometimes it tell me that my computer did not recignize the USB thingy and i click that link and it tell sme that its still in there or soemthing!!!)

Verizon palm treo 750?? plans!

If i got a palm treo from verizon wireless, would i have to pay a seperate plan for that phone or could it be attached to the family share plan? And around how much would it be if it has to have a whole seperate plan?

Purchasing a Laptop

Within the next few months, my Mom is going to be taking my PC. She said she will buy me a laptop, because she wants my computer to brush up on her technical and keyboarding skills.
What is the best laptop for me? I have about 51000 photos on mine right now and I am into photography so I will require a lot of space (although I will be transfering most onto DVD's). I do not use any games. The only programs I have are MSN, GIMP and iTunes - along with the normal Microsoft programs.
Can laptops come with webcams, also? My price range is between $800 and $2000 preferably.

Sims 2, HELP ME!!!!

i started to install sims 2 to my computer. it just finished, and i restarted the computer. i didnt open anything except for sims 2, BUT theres an error. like halfway through the beginning credits, where it says "EB games challenge everything", it freezes and then a popup comes that says "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." then when i click the OK button, Sims 2 closes! i've restarted again and opened Sims 2 again, but it keeps happening! and im really mad since i really wanted to play it. its a brand new game which we got from Toys R Us so its obviously not scratched or anything, and it didnt say that my computer didnt have enough space to run it... ugh someone help me please. im dying to ...

which laptop should I bring?

okay, so ..I'm going to a conference thing in Washington D.C (on which my parents spent a lot of money on) and we have to take clothes and stuff, because it will be a 10 day trip (we're staying at a university). Okay...not only are we going to meet new people and all, but we also were told that we need to bring a laptop to do homework and to write research papers (or type, haha). Okay...and so...I have a problem. I have two laptops. One is a mac book (like 3 months old...the white one) and one is a Compaq Presario..(about 3 years old). Both are in good condition but the Presario is a bit worn out and dirty...with two keys missing. But I don't know if I can trust myself enough to bring the mac. Which one should I bring? O_O

Windows media player bass x

I love songs wid a good bass and like thumping drums [like niche/ 4x4 bassline n tha] but how can i emphasize tha bass n beat on media player?
I can go on graphics equaliser on Windows media player but it sounds crackly and broken up.. I think im not balancing it right

I just got a new Mac computer, and I was really sad when I found out that I couldn't play my old computer games for PC on it.
does anyone know where I can find:
1. Sims 2 for Macs. (and all the expansion packs that go with Sims 2)
2. Zoo Tycoon for Macs. (the marine life/dinosaur one)

Big Fat Awesome House Party!! Where's Bloo???

OK so I play big fat awesome house party..and i got the full popularity bar so that i can go on an adventure with bloo....problem is... i can't FIND bloo!! Anybody know where he'd be? There's 6 floors and 3 other places to go! and also...how do you get tickets for the games at the mall?

On the character map, which is the best font to use on msn names? Some of them are too small to appear on msn and ive looked alot, but cant seem to find a good one. Thanks!

this si for the new itunes with te new colored ipods ok well i know how to add file to library and add songs but what if my songs rnt in that file? but whats weird is on my itunes theres a filr that has the songs that i wnat to put on my ipod but you cant like click on them and move them to the library please help i need these songs on here

Sorry if this is the wrong category.
I wanted to delete my e-mail on gmail, but when I went to delete it, it said that I would no longer be able to use gmail once I delete my account. Does that mean that I won't be able to sue that specific account or does that mean that I won't be able to make anymore gmail accounts in the future?
So I guess I'm asking if I can make another account on gmail even if I delete the one that I have right now.

Cell one text messaging

ok so 2 days ago on July 24th my mom switched me from 250 text messages to 1000 because i keep going over. However i know i won't get the full number because its in the middle of the month and last time she switched me (100 to 250) in the middle of a month i only got 121 messages included. on the 8th of august our minutes and messages will renew themselves so i'll get the full 1000, but now i'm just wondering if anyone could give me a rough number of how many i will get this month so i don't go over.
