How do you get the grams of a compound converted to mols? For example, 58g NaCl to mols. How would you get that?
Also, what is this equation used for: grams of substance/molar mass

okay,ive been homeschooled since i was like 2 and next semester which im afaird of.im totally the kind of person that you have to come up.im shy,at first atleast and im scared that everyone there[since its like a school where like doctors send their kids]will be stuck up and not think that im good enough.that im just some dumb homeschooler who totally is a loser[which i am,but not in the bad way]and doesnt know what all this stuff means and stuff.and when i go,i dont want it to be like totally life changing in a way that i turn away from God[which i do NOT want to do]and not be able to handle all the stuff out there.but i just found out that one of my friend's friend will be going to that school aswell which is a total thumbs up.but still.i...

Senior Project Ideas

Ok, so in my school we do this thing called the Senior Project in our English IV class. I have it next year but I want to get started with my community service and research this year.
I had a topic and product picked out already, but I think I want to change it. I was wondering if anyone had any cool ideas.
Keep in mind that for each topic we have to job shadow someone and do community service...so it can't be something like "video games" where it would take forever to find somewhere to volunteer. Related product ideas would be great too.
For example, my last topic was Childhood Leukemia. I was going to job shadow and do my community service at the children's cancer center at one of ...

Prom Problems!!!

Ok So prom is coming up soon. I'm going with this girl because i dont have a date. She and i are friends so its mutual. I'm upset because wanted to have a date with someone i liked but that never happened (many reasons). i feel that i'm going to go all out for prom and have a lousy time. i want it to be a special time for me, because I'm graduating soon.
How can i make this day "special" for me

Alright, I need to write an essay, and here's the prompt:
Write two or three news articles covering diffrent key events in the play, such as the assassination of Caesar, or the defeat of Brutus. Explain the causes of the events you chose in your reports.
well, I need some Ideas for key events, and hopefully not the Two given example. I also dont get the whole, explain the causes part, it needs to be like a page, is there any tips to just kinda pump up the essay and expand?

my little brother

my little brother is 7 and in 2nd grade, and lately he's been telling me that this girl in his class keeps bothering him. he told me that she likes him, and she's not leaving him alone. my brother comes home crying (lol) saying that she's not stopping! my brother told me that he already told his teacher but she really doesn't care and didn't do anything about it. what should i do, i can't stand to see my brother like this!

hi, we are suposed to be answering these questions on a short story, and im stuck on a few, any help would be great. so heres the story:
grown man doesnt like his older sister(40) going out, and says they shouldnt as they are indians. this woman doesnt like how her brother is doing this, treating her in this way, and starts to argue. woman throws a slap, man kicks and punches woman untill ambulance and police is called. shes not badly injured, just a little bump. the man leaves the house sayin that he's going to kill her, her two kids and her boyfriend. the son of the two kids, never forgives him, and hates him forever, for sying that. etc etc etc.

This essay is SO confusing. If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it. Can anyone like point out the repetition, irony, and hyperbole for me? I have to analyze them. :( Also, how can I paraphrase this sentence when I don't even understand it: "The wiseacres will possibly, however, crowd round your coffin, and raise a monument at a considerable expense, and after a lapse of time, to commemorate your genius and your misfortunes!" This assignment is for my english class, and to get started, I have to be able to understand the concepts I stated above. If anyone could help me get started, I would be well off in completing this assignment. I'm in a block right now! :( Thanks!

ok i am 14 f ( florida) and im goin to high school next year. i just want to kno wat to expect when i go. dont just tell me the goody goody stuff, i wanna kno all the REAL things that go on in high school. also i will be taking algebra 2 in the 9th grade. so how will i be able to deal with being in a class with all juniors? please help because im freaking out. also what things are cool and not cool for a freshman to do? thanks sooo much if you help me!

dallas middle schools

im moving to dallas, texas next year. i will be in 8th grade that year, and im moving from hillsborough, new jersey. it really sucks to leave everything here behind, because i've lived here since i was six, and i'm 13 now, so thats alot of my life. anyways, whats the best school you can go to in dallas? like middle school. i looked at one called lake dallas middle school.. and holy cow! for one, they dont have soccer (my fave sport) as one of their sports (though i like vball) and they have the ugliest dress code ever. so any better middle school s around dallas? i heard dallas is really big but i dont care.. list a couple that actually have websites. For titles, whats the rule about italics vs underlines? I'm writing a fractured fairy tale for school and I can't remember wether or not I'm supposed to underline the title or set it in italics.

ok. for the weekend i'm doing a very simple latin project and its to just draw the country of italy. but the problem is i totally forgot my textbook! my latin teacher gave us a text book and said to copy everything EXACTLY like the page that has the country of italy. anyone know where i can find a map of italy and the surrounding countries in Roman empire form? like what italy used to look like during the roman times. (^_^'' sorry about my clumsiness but i didnt quite have a choice this grade is worth 10% of my latin grade i went from an A- to a B+ and i truly dont wanna go down to a C!)
