I would like to know if anyone here knows of any ska bands that sound similar to Reel Big Fish. They are my favorite ska band but I cant find any that really sound like them. All help appreciated...please don't flame me!

my parents are giving me the opportunity to take music lessons. my options are guitar (acoustic or electric) or piano. the thing about piano is i took lessons from when i was 7-11. and my brother is studying to be a piano teacher in college, and he really wants me to take piano. when he comes home on the weekends, he gives me random ben folds songs or classical pieces to play. then the next weekend, he expects me to have them memorized.. i don't want to let him down so i try to work on them. so i'm decent at the piano, but i REALLY want to play the guitar. so i'm in between.
PLEASE help mee?

I've done lyrics searches for this one song I've heard, but can't identify. There's a harmonizing chorus in the background that goes "doot da doot doot doot doot". And it's about how someone's mom is a junkie, and if she could do everything all over again she wouldn't change it for the world. Alternative song, might be by Bad Religion although I honestly have no idea.

Singing

16/f, I want to sing more than anything.
I'm not too good at it but.
Please don't just tell me I need to spend all this money to go to a place where they can teach me singing. I just want to be able to do it and I don't want my parents to know its kinda embarrassing.
Is there only certain people who can sing or can you train yourself? I can't read music either. Or is it possible that certain people can only sing certain songs?
Maybe I'm just not trying the right songs?
