What is the equation for an ellipsis that has a center at (4, -1), a width of 4, and a height of 8?
I've looked all over the internet for the equation but I can't find it.

epilepsy presentation

ok so for my college psych class i have to do a five minute presentation on epilepsy. I was just wondering if anyone had any good ideas to get the class involved on the presentation. I do have epilepsy so its not the information im worried about i just want to make it interesting instead of the usual powerpoint deal. any advice is appreciated!

Late Assignments

I had 3 papers due in my class last week, on monday but I haven't been in class, becuase I couldn't face the teachers until the work was done. So I have a full week late paper, and I missed class on the third time becuase of a car accident.These papers are a pass/fail deal with ym teacher. What could I tell my teacher in order to keep my own dignity and their respect.

I have this book report thing that is due tomorrow and I have to find 10 items that have something to do with the book Eragon.
I am stuck. I have been sitting here for hours thinking of what I could bring. Please help me.
I can't bring any type of weapon, as you may have guessed. Also, please don't try to give me any lectures on how I should do my own homework and thinm of it myself. All I am asking of you is some ideas.
This is a big assingment too, so any ideas would be appreciated.

Math Projectt

So for my math project i need to find 5 different pictures of actual objects in real life,
1. a rectangle that is not a square
2. a paralellogram that is not a rectangle
3. a square
4. a trapeziod
5. a nonparallelogram and a nontrapezoid
they must be perfect, like we actually have to show measurements on the sqaure showing its really a square etc
i have no idea where to go find these pictures, preferably on the internet

I got this letter, from the highschool that i will be attending, and it says like, how they think that i'd be good for this program called 'connections' and how it helps with test taking, problem solving, and stuff like that. and they want me and my parents to go to some meeting about it.
but, isn't that for dumb kids? like doesn't that sound like thats what its for?
and its from the guidance cousler people, so i basicallly dont think everyone is getting it.
but see i dont understand, im not stupid.

bad tan-school dance

i have my school dance tonight and i have the worst halter swimsuit tan and im wearing a pink tubetob neckline spaghetti strapped dress if that makes sense. so is there any kind of spray on color smoother or something i can use quickly without getting a tan? and i could get it a drugstore or something?

So today in school this girl that likes to run her mouth about people, decided well im gonna run my mouth about you. She thinks i was not gonna do anything just because im quiet. So i ran up to her and confronted her and asked her are you talkin bout me. Shes like yea i am and wut r you gonna do about it. I take off my glasses and my necklace an im like what lets go right now. So she backed up then said wait and took off her necklace.. Then one of my teacher's told me to take a walk and jus walk away so i did, instead of punching her and gettin suspended i punched the door. Then me and my two friends walked with my around the corner to cool off. Then that bitch comes back for some more and my friends tell me to just get up and walk aw...

Junior Prom

Ok.. well junior prom is in two weeks, and I don't have a date. I'm a girl, so I don't plan on asking anybody, and if anybody was going to ask me, they would have asked by now.
I was just going to go with a few friends but trying to find a dress and stuff... I just realized that I really don't want to go. I mean, the only reason I'm going is to say that I went, but I have a feeling that I won't enjoy it very much (especially without a date). And I don't know if it's worth the money if I'm not going to have fun, especially because my parents can't afford it.
I don't know what to do. I don't want to not go, because then I'll be sitting at home on Saturday night while all my friends are at prom and I'll be sorry ...

I am doing a science fair project on if the habitat of a monkey effects its tail length and purpose (prehensile, non prehensile) and I look at New World and Old World monkeys. I am trying to think up a catchy title (NOT question, title) for the projct that might catch peoples eyes.

Teacher is an a-hole

To make a long story short. I write for newspaper, I wrote a review on the school musical, it was over 4 typed pages long so i cut it down a lot. But it still was too long to fit on the layout so our editor cut the story down some more. so the paper is printed and people start asking my why I didn't mention Mr. B the director. I told them I that I did but some one had cut it out.
He left one of our newspapers in the media room that said in big letters on it " [my name] Last time I checked I directed the musical, maybe I didn't.
Now we had written another article on HIM and about HE was directing for the first time. But this was not my fault and the review was really only supposed to be ...

community service

Okay, I just nominated for a program in CT- National Junior Honor Society and you need to communtity service where you can't get compensation. What are some ideas? I need two for each service, leadership, citizenship, and character. I need to hand this in by May 4th [next Friday.] What can I do until then? So far I have babysit, student council, and donations from the tsunami.
Please help ASAP!

This may be long, so bare with me.
Okay. So it's my senior year and I have very acute chronic migraines. I go to a neurologist every 2 weeks to try to control my migraines with medication and I've been doing so since I was 14.(I'm 18 now.) Nothing has helped. My migraines are a hindrance to being able to live a normal life. There are many days when it's so bad that I can't even get out of bed.
So my main problem was the fact that I got really sick and apparently missed too many days to graduate this year. I've never thought I'd have this problem because I have almost a 4.0 gpa. Well now I'm doing an independent study course for the 1 class that I needed to graduate. My main concern is for after I finish my Eng...
