How long does heavy flow last?

Hey everyone! Im 14/f and i got my period exactly 26 hours ago. I usually get mine around the 20ths so last time it was about on time. This time its almost 2 weeks early. I have had heavy flow all day today, literally. Every 2 hours i had to change my pad instead of my usual 3 or 4 hours. Every time the pad was almost leaking. (at only 2 hours) As i went about my business today, i felt the blood coming out in long spurts, id say about 10 times an hour. This has never happened before. My heavy flow days have never been this heavy for this long. So my question is: How long is too long for a heavy flow and is this normal? Thanks to everyone who answers!

I have had my period since I was 13, and that same year I became a vegetarian which caused my periods to be so light that they sometimes did not come at all. After I started taking vitamins and had a bigger diet, I got it again, but they were very irregular so I was put on birth control when I was 15. This year I got my period on July 3rd, and like every other period it lasted about a week. About two weeks later I went to a party and ended up drinking. I didn't drink a lot but I drank more then a little. When I got home, I noticed that I got my period again and it lasted almost 2 weeks. When I thought it was over, I was at another party where I consumed a smaller amount of alcohol then the last time, and I woke up with my period. Is alcohol...

So me and my boyfriend had sex, and we used a condom but I'm 4 days late on my period, I think there is a chance I could be pregnant but I'm not sure yet! Sure I be worried or I'm I just over thinking this?

I had sex with My boyfriend and it was My first time. And we didn't use protection but it was quick it was like for 2 mintues I made him stop. Beacause it hurt really bad . And I usually have my period around the 13Th or 15th and I'm really scared. Could I be pregnant? like. Ive been stressed every since we did it. and we had sex around the 10th. Or 11th im. So paranoid and I have no type if appetite what do I do pleasee help

Hi I am 24 my problem is that I get my periods regularly but the flow is not there its damn little not even noticable and could be seen a bit only during urinating I am damn sure I am not pregnant nor I am on any birth control pill this problem is since january this year but in march I had normal flow well last month someone suggested me to have unrippen papaya and ginger juice as well as coconut and jaggey and I experienced a really good normal flow but this month again the same problem will try again with jaggery and all because it works but what is the actual problem....

Vaginal rash type thing? =/

Ok so Im 13/f and I have NOT had sex or any sexual experience but I have kissed a guy before and I have masterbated once.
For about a week now, I have been having this rash thing around my vaginal area. It is big and I cant go swimming because it will show through my bathing suit because it is very large. I told my mom about the rash and showed her and she got me this cream stuff from the cupports in our kitchen and it is called 'Cortizone-10' for external use. I have been using it for a few days now and it isnt going away. It stops the irritation but does not get rid of the rash. Advice?
Also, should I start shaving pubic hair because it also shows through my bathing suit and I do not want that.. so should I?

20/f I usually get my period sometime at the end of the month (it's a little irregular). Whenever I get a brownish discharge I know it's going to be here that day, but I had it for two days then it went away and I'm back to clear. I have other symptoms like moodyness and some cramps and sore boobs but does anyone know if that is normal? I have no idea why I haven't gotten my period yet! thanks.

i havnt started my periods yet but i just went to the toilet and there was like this goey red thing on my knickers;it looked like snot and blood mixed together...
was that my first period??!btw ie been having discharges for the past 6 months so i thought id be getting it soon.
im really worried now and its kinnda akward cos we have friends sleeping at our house tonight and tomorrow night..!

I need advice!!....I havent Started my period yet and i am twelve. Last night i started getting gooey discharge i got on google and it said it was all part of ovulation... and i needed some help on that. then The next night i had sharp back pains and felt weird. I normally have a ton of discharge. But recently all i had was clear gooey sticky discharge...??

Hi i recently had sex with my bf but we used protection n were very careful ... but the thing is .. we had sex when my periods were due ... but they have come yet ... which freaked me out so i started doing aggressive exercise ... like running and with a personal trainer n still the periods r not here yet .. i dont have any breast pain nor do i feel sick ... we talked bout it but he said that nothing happened ... n i know the more stress i take the likely it will get postpones and hence m trying to stay cool bout it .. but i still need ur advice .. wat do u think? it has been about 10 days since the last time i had sex .. pls help

Why don't girls go swimming while wearing pads?

I've heard of at least five girls that claim they will not go swimming unless they are wearing a tampon. I'm just wondering why, because I swim while wearing a pad all the time. Is there something I'm unaware of?

How many tampons should I use a day? I heard you're supposed to take it out after two hours instead of what it says on the pack, but it hurts every time I take one out. I also wanted to know, will it ever stop hurting? I mean, a tampon usually feels ok going in, and I didn't even feel it when I used it, but when I took it out, it really hurt! I'd use pads all the time if I could, but since it's summer (and my family goes to the beach a lot) if I don't go in the water, it'll be really embarassing having to tell everyone I'm on my period. I hope you can help!
